- OpenMinded11, on 07/10/2008, -1/+5Obama and McBushCain enjoy pandering, give it time and Obama'll flip-flop back to his original statement regarding warrent-less wiretapping.
2 Party Vote = Wasted Vote - perhapshowever, on 07/10/2008, -1/+4As long as voters continue to settle for less than what they want change will not occur.
Citizens who want real change are open to the principal that we win when participation and ideals trump the electoral college.
The two party system is broken and you can help render it into the dust heap of history. Take action at the local and national level. Support candidates and principals, not parties. - Unicorny, on 07/10/2008, -1/+4From the article:
You know that Nader is responsible for seatbelts and airbags, but did you also know that he led the campaign against nuclear power, an effort that has blocked the construction of new nuclear plants in America for more than 30 years? You may know that he is largely responsible for the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, and the Freedom of Information Act, but did you know that in recent years he secured cheap, generic AIDS drugs for India?

I support him because I know he will put the interests of the nation ahead of the interests of the corporate pariahs.
Obama's FISA FLIP should tell everyone exactly what they need to know. - jurnei, on 07/10/2008, -1/+4Obama deeply disappointed me today. I'm looking at Nader more closely. The thought that ex Americans are living nicely in other countries is also looming in the air in front of me.
- icandig, on 07/10/2008, -1/+4Nader is the only option for real change.
- JagPop, on 07/11/2008, -0/+1This is not a PC article. It is me being real, real angry at where this country has been, is right now, and is going. Obama flew his true Corporatist colors yesterday. Obama doesn't support you,
so why do you support him.
Thanks for reading my "get it out of my system" non-PC offering:
http://digg.com/political_opinion/NADER_SUPPORTERS ... - crxvfr, on 07/11/2008, -0/+1Regardless of their party affiliation, they are all working for the same team, ...the New World Order.
- ParkBeam, on 07/10/2008, -0/+1Nader has done some good in terms of product safety in the past, but that in no way qualifies him to be president. As far as I know the only job he's held for as long as I can remember is perpetual presidential candidate.
Nader has never held an elected office, and he never will. - inactive, on 07/10/2008, -0/+1I am starting a new website to help finance my move to another country. The corporations here have too big of a stranglehold on American politics...
- quixotic1976, on 07/11/2008, -0/+0not qualified? no other person is more qualified. Looks at his track record, foia, cwa, osha, auto safety, founding numerous civic groups and others. Just cause you have boatloads a cash 55% primarily for corporate bundlers, which creates the perception your qualified makes Nader not qualified? ridicoulous! Obama nor Mccain cant change anything even if they wanted too. The transaction has been made by the defense/corporate lobby, israel lobby, corporate lobby, anti cuban lobby, et al. It will only be symolic and token consesssions that will have miniscule effects if any. Nader need to move up 4% to get into debates then its a three way race. When Perot got into debates he shot up to 19% maybe the conditions werent there then BUT WE KNOW THEY ARE HERE NOW!!! VOTENADER.ORG
