- Sparhawk2k, on 01/14/2008, -0/+7I really hope a lot of people start to use this. The community aspects of it would become so much more useful with more people. And it would be really nice to be able to have some feedback on what some of these bills actually are. Without having to attempt to make my way through the entire text of every single one...
- principle, on 01/14/2008, -0/+5Everyone should join and participate. Send a shout to your friends. I hope that “we the people” will finally be able to make a difference.
- xsimonxcorex, on 01/14/2008, -0/+5i love this web app. In a time when politicians seem to be paying less and less attention to their constituents, this kind of software could help put their feet to the fire.
- ravrore, on 01/14/2008, -0/+4This site is amazing.
- Sparhawk2k, on 01/14/2008, -0/+2The parens and period was getting included in the link. It's actually: http://thomas.loc.gov
- judykratochvil, on 01/15/2008, -0/+2This is a fantastic web application. I hope everyone uses it to learn about and track their congress.
- rarson, on 01/14/2008, -0/+2Looks pretty cool, but the majority of Americans can't be bothered to use it.
- MrBfltspk, on 01/15/2008, -0/+1This is a great way to keep in touch with our government representatives and have a greater voice in the government process.
- phoenixawe, on 01/14/2008, -1/+2OpenCongress is sometimes a day or two delayed; if it's a quickly-moving issue you should also check THOMAS at the Library of Congress (http://thomas.loc.gov/). OpenCongress, though, has some nifty features.
- jaymzdean, on 01/14/2008, -0/+1page not found.
- GioSico, on 01/15/2008, -0/+1Being able to comment on Bills is great. Being able to parse different parts of bills and comment on parts you are interested in would be great. It would help Bills to be more focused. It would even be a great mechanism for writing Bills. A step toward Bills by the people and not lobbyists.
- gbarberi, on 01/15/2008, -1/+1Hmmm... intriguing. What's next? A Digg clone where bills are submitted and voted on by the community, perhaps? Could be interesting.
