- AARTARTHUR, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5Ok let’s see here? Iowans for Tax Relief; with a past track record of getting tax breaks for special interest while driving everyone else in the base's tax rates up to the top 10 highest taxed people in the US does not invite Ron Paul. I would say you missed the story and forgot to investigate Why, Why, Why? It (aint ) about Taxes”. This whole thing is absurd; at best. If I were a member of this organization I would be leaving about now. These folks are Plum Dumb, tax relief no Paul ?
- XXchromosome, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Out of curiosity, is anyone talking about Tommy Thomson or Duncan Hunter, or any of the other "second tier" candidates?
- jcarrion1976, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3You say only 1-2% in the polls but Ron Paul just recieved 2nd (16.7%) in a straw poll co-sponsored by the very Iowans for Tax Relief that are excluding him.
Ron Paul seems to be a bigger issue than you realize.

_ - troprocker, on 10/11/2007, -7/+2"Paul visited Iowa once last winter, Snyder said, and is “making a sincere, serious effort to take part in the straw poll.”
ONE visit. 1-2% in the national polls. And you wonder why he's not being invited? Get a clue! I live 20 miles from Muscatine. NOBODY here is talking about Ron Paul! HE IS A NON ISSUE!
