Section 2340A. Torture
(a) Offense. - Whoever outside the United States commits or
attempts to commit torture shall be fined under this title or
imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both, and if death results to
any person from conduct prohibited by this subsection, shall be
punished by death or imprisoned for any term of years or for life.
(b) Jurisdiction. - There is jurisdiction over the activity
prohibited in subsection (a) if -
(1) the alleged offender is a national of the United States; or
(2) the alleged offender is present in the United States,
irrespective of the nationality of the victim or alleged
offender.
(c) Conspiracy. - A person who conspires to commit an offense
under this section shall be subject to the same penalties (other
than the penalty of death) as the penalties prescribed for the

For the record I agree that OBL is in fact dead and has been for some time.
But to think that you can apply some sort of sportsmanship definition of "winning" and "losing" to a war is ludicrous. There are no winners or losers only survivors. The continual rhetoric of the Administration and sock puppet talking heads in the MSM is about "winning" and "defeat" without ever applying an actual definition of what that truly means. The goal posts have moved so many times in the last 6 years I seriously doubt anyone knows what "victory" would look like. Is it Bush landing on an Aircraft Carrier under the banner of "Mission Accomplished"? Is it 2.5 million Iraqi refugees scratching out survival in Syria? Is it the exponential increase in heroin exports from Afghanistan? Is it the no bid contracts for oil awarded to Cheney's buddies at BP, Chevron, Total and Exxon as they had planned 2 years before the invasion?
The FACT is and has always been that the NeoCon Republican movement to war has ALWAYS been about OIL and GREED and nothing more. There is no argument anyone anywhere can make when you look at the truth in the cold light of day. None of these men are Americans and those apologists who would defend their crimes only further the root problem. The entire Administration past and present have shredded the constitution for their own immoral gains and are guilty of high crimes and in fact treason. I pray for the day that we can deliver these criminals to Nuremberg for War Crimes and Geneva Convention violations.
I suggest you wise up and realize that NeoCons HATE the American people; they only know greed and deceit.They will kill you, me and everyone else who would dare to stand in the way of their empire building. You can't be fool enough to believe that what George Bush is doing has anything to do with "fighting terrorists". If that was the case, then why is Osama bin Laden able to live out his old age? Why is the Taliban able to reclaim power in Afghanistan? Why were the bin Laden family allowed to take private planes out of the US when all air traffic was restricted after 9/11?
