- chase001, on 10/16/2007, -5/+248Every time Rudy says 9/11 you have to do a shot and every time Bush says Al Queda you do a shot.
- doctorfungi, on 10/10/2007, -1/+227Not that many of us own a liquor store dude.
- swiftekho, on 10/10/2007, -1/+119This just in, alcohol poisoning deaths have just risen 911%
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -52/+154Ghouliani is not currently Constitutionally eligible to be President. Don't even bother with the schmuck.
- Vitacore, on 10/16/2007, -4/+92Thanks for exploiting 9/11 Rudy.
- fractalman, on 10/10/2007, -26/+103Xuvious is correct, Ghouliani was knighted in England back in 2002. As such, he is no longer eligible to hold the office of president. A motion to remove him from the race has already by filed with the FEC. I just hope they do the right thing, and not ignore this.
- iceschade, on 10/10/2007, -2/+69I don't want to die today.
- vuke69, on 10/10/2007, -4/+70"The only thing that can stop Guilliani is Clinton..."
Hmm, and all this time I thought garlic and holy water would work. - davrobi, on 10/10/2007, -3/+69911 is Rudy's claim to fame, thats all he has got!
- adgreene, on 10/10/2007, -6/+66every time Rudy says "9/11" god kills a kitten.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -3/+62Perhaps some of us would like to move ahead instead of reliving the past?
- thcobbs, on 10/10/2007, -8/+61Has NO ONE on Digg ever been through a presidential campaign? EVERY person running for office is sounding like a broken ***** record. Get OVER IT.
Guiliani -- 9/11
Hillary -- Healthcare
Edwards -- Two Americas
Obama -- I didn't vote for Iraq
McCain -- < anything that will get me elected >
Paul -- Restore the Constitution
Come ON people. - joebrender, on 10/10/2007, -0/+45As dedicated a Republican as I am, I couldn't vote for Rudy if he is the party's nominee.
- mediaspree, on 10/10/2007, -3/+42Maybe if hes president (dear god no) he'll declare Sept. 11th as Rudy Guliani Day, a national holiday, and we'll all get off work.
- Jareth86, on 10/10/2007, -11/+48Giuliani not mentioning 9/11 is like Santa not mentioning Christmas. Why do you hate America?
- whiteyMcBrown, on 10/10/2007, -1/+29I don't even know what Giuliani did on Sept. 11th.. The buildings still went down.. A new tower is still not up. Is it enough that he was just in the city?
- dalewj, on 10/10/2007, -1/+27and everytime dick cheney shoots someone....
- iceschade, on 10/10/2007, -0/+26Can anyone tell me what Rudy Giuliani actually did on 9/11, to help the victims' families and help NY? I mean, I know he was mayor, but what did he actually do? All I've seen is photo ops and kicking dead horses.
- cleverhanz, on 10/10/2007, -6/+28Or you could stop being a condescending ass and explain why you disagree.
- vuke69, on 10/10/2007, -1/+22Absolutely. In a sea of bad candidates he is probably the worst.
There are only two good candidates, one on each side of the fence, but you don't need me to tell you who they are. Take a stand, and make it happen. - biggbrother, on 10/10/2007, -0/+20Why else would anyone seriously consider him for the presidency? Some Republicans seem to think it's enough. I've never seen anyone happier that 9/11 happened than Giuliani.
- doctorfungi, on 10/10/2007, -1/+21From what I've seen Digg is actually predominately anti-9/11 conspiracy theories.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+19BROKEN RECORD, FTL
what a scumbag! - code2joy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+20RUDY "9/11" GUILIAI... THE MAN WITH THE VERY BIG FIRE HAT
- cypher35, on 10/10/2007, -2/+20I motion to remove him from the *human* race...
- eean, on 10/10/2007, -0/+17Right, only people from countries with Elizabeth as their head of state can have Sir's.
- pyrotix, on 10/10/2007, -5/+22Only subjects of the Queen can be a knight. Giuliani is not a citizen of the Commonwealth. Put two and two together. You're an idiot.
- iceschade, on 10/10/2007, -0/+17I'm curious... What did Giuliani actually DO on 9/11? What good did he do? I mean, yeah, he was mayor... He saw it... But I saw it too, all the way down here in Texas. What did he DO to save lives and help people? What did he DO to comfort families and aid those in need?
From what I've seen, all he's done is ... well ... nothing, really. But if I missed something I'd like to know. - nextyoyoma, on 10/10/2007, -8/+25Why are people digging his comment? It is totally inaccurate! He is not a KNIGHT! He was giving an honorary title by the Queen of England, it doesn't mean he is a KNIGHT!
- synaesthesia, on 10/10/2007, -3/+18NO YOU MUST NEVAR FORGET!!1
- thcobbs, on 10/10/2007, -6/+20True, and by the rule of law in the UK, this title is only honorary and bears not station or special privileges. Therefore, it doesn't cause a conflict of interest.
- thcobbs, on 10/10/2007, -0/+14Don't worry, he won't be.... He's already peaked and people aren't seeing any real depth to his campaign.
- Progrockusa, on 10/10/2007, -3/+17out of all that, restore the constitution seems the most plausible
- DiggDugglas, on 10/10/2007, -2/+16Giuliani was mayor during 9/11 !?!?
- thcobbs, on 10/10/2007, -0/+14The same reason they call presidents "Mr. President" even after they left office. Or in the south, the same reason they call someone "Coach" if they've ever coached a game in their life.
- Nougat, on 10/10/2007, -12/+25Three words: Rule of law.
- synaesthesia, on 10/10/2007, -10/+23If you really think that will matter, you're kidding yourself. The only thing that can stop Guilliani is Clinton; either way, its more of the same.
- matrox212, on 10/10/2007, -0/+13That's true. His Bio is multiple divorces, pro-gun regulation and pro-choice. Other than his 9/11 15 minutes of fame, he's got nothing to offer the GOP.
- MellerTime, on 10/10/2007, -6/+19Hey, whatever it takes to get this guy out of the running.
- iceschade, on 10/10/2007, -0/+13Checked his wikipedia site, and apparently he made public speeches on TV and radio, and he did a decent job being the mayor. But... that's nothing above and beyond the call of duty. His approval rating jumped 30 something per-cent after 9/11, but I honestly believe that was purely due to the "pride rush" everyone felt after the attack.
I've yet to see a documented case of him doing anything special enough to warrant his continuous 9/11 flag-waving, or for us to call him some kind of hero. - iceschade, on 10/10/2007, -1/+13Santa has never mentioned Christmas to me. But even if he had... It's only once per year. With Giuliani... It's a constant.
- dboylon, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12He did what all "leaders do" when a crisis happens. Get in front of the TV crews and sound like a serious, caring, concernced, action oriented human being...so it looks like you are somehow essential to all the work the emergency response teams are doing. There is no difference between being an actor and being a politician.
- jodofashodo, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11If he cared about America, he would give this up....he obviously doesn't
- wagesj45, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11It may just be me, but I'm tired of people feeling that they have to temper any remark they make about the exploitation of 9/11 with a "of course we will remember them, but..." We should not have to fear being accused of being unpatriotic and heartless just for calling someone out on exploiting this event.
- rarson, on 10/10/2007, -2/+13Paul only harps on that one thing because is the most massive, important issue we're facing right now (actually, you can't forget how much he harps on needing to get the troops home and end the war, too). Our country is going down the crapper and he wants to fix it. Sounds a lot better to me than some "talking point" the others are using.
- ibeetle, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11The blogger missed a great humorous footnote on the answering the phone to talk to the wife thing.
Giuliani says [paraphrasing] that it was because ever sense 911 (essentially) they may never see each other again.
Funny thing... on Sept. 11, 2001 Governor Rudi Giulainai was married... wait for it... (ta da!) to a completely different woman. - DangerStepp, on 10/10/2007, -4/+14Mr. Giuliani says:
Only if the Digg community quits praising Ron Paul - joel2600, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10i was under the same impression until i read this person's blog while doing some research into this.

and although the author seems to not like guliani, the argument weighs more in his favor that he should be allowed to be president and his knighthood a mere formality compared with actually being knighted with a sword.
guliani should not be allowed to be president based simply on the fact that he is a slimy douchebag -
