Most Outrageous Right Wing Comments of 2006
alternet.org — AlterNet gives us their list of the eleven most outrageous right wing comments of 2006. Yes, Ann Coulter makes the short-list more than once. And Rush Limbaugh blasts American compassion while simultaneously demonstrating that he doesn't know what butter is. A great list of frothy-mouthed right-wing nuttery at its worst.

- smaragd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4No kidding. They sure are casual & enthusiastic about discussing nuking the entire Middle East, aren't they? It's fine that these people can get access to the airwaves -- everybody has the right to be heard. But what's really sad (and disturbing) is that the people that say these things can get corporate sponsors, sell commercial spots around this type of hatred and lies, and can actually make a living by encouraging violence, promoting genocide, and so on.
- jaycliche, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4John Gibsons eugenic rascism blows me away still. "Make more white babies"...what a racist piece of *****. Not what he said, but that he still is on the air while people like Bill Moyers get kicked off.
Just proves which side these companies are on...the white power side. - jaycliche, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Oh and Mike Savage would be running the "ovens".
- Yarman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2As smaragd notes, it's amazing these right wingnuts say these things, and keep their jobs, sell ads to companies, etc. Also discouraging as an American to have so many people listening and presumably agreeing-- agreeing enough to not change the station. Shame is shared by the companies pimping for this trash, such as the noted Fox news on screen text. It represents the worst side of America.
- krazz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Here we go....time for the liberal banter......blah, blah, blah......I'm waiting for the ever popular "Obama '08" comment. Whining pussies.
- jaycliche, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yelling fool.
