- Insightful, on 07/15/2008, -13/+183So 3,000 American civilians died during this administration, 4,000+ American soldiers died in this administration, we have spent close to a trillion dollars, government can tap your phones and internet communication without warrant, and there are 1 million names on the terrorist watch list. Somehow this administration is still trying to convince people they are safer under a Republican administration?
Oh, don't let me forget Iraq. Saddam may be a tyrant but he had no WMD and kept Iraq under tight control. Now Iraq is a breeding gound of terrorists (Al Qaeda in Iraq), government death squads, and militias. How is that safer for United States? - acevoncash, on 07/15/2008, -11/+111I don't care what party you are from who you support.. whatever. This is absolutely shameful.
- morningmatters, on 07/15/2008, -9/+96The man behind this, Mike Meehan, is selling the song "please don't vote for a democrat" on his website for $5. No joke! This guy is trying to make a buck off the tragedy.

Interesting news from Florida..........
UPDATE (2:16 pm 7/15/08): I've just been told that in addition to being an idiot and a fearmonger, Meehan evidently also is a Canadian. Not that there's anything wrong with that especially, but do you Republicans really want to take electoral advice from a foreigner?!
more info later - Surferess, on 07/15/2008, -23/+91Republicans suck! They have sold us down the river!
- Hrodrik, on 07/15/2008, -16/+66Wait. Are they saying that 9/11 was because of democrats? Hahahahaha
Capitalism and imperialism caused 9/11. And guess who promotes these more? The bastards even have "think tanks" that promote world domination. - hawkeye17, on 07/15/2008, -9/+55Goebbels would be proud.
- cathymoo, on 07/15/2008, -22/+66The Republican religious pious righteousness
Ineptness and stupidity are killing us too
They want to take the money from the hard workin man
And give it to the Arabs for some oil in a can
Republicans and idiots, shame on you
Don’t talk to us at all til you walk a mile in our shoes
You’re sendin’ boys to Iraq for a bunch of stupid lies
And that’s why we can’t vote for a Republican
Yeah, you’re givin all the money to the corporation
Oh, no no please don’t vote Republican
Now we’re trying to save our mortgage and fill the tank with gas
But you’re spending blood and treasure like it’s coming out our %
And the neocons and Fox News keep feeding us some crap
So get the hell out of Iraq and bring our soldiers back
Republicans and idiots, shame on you
Don’t talk to us at all til you walk a mile in our shoes
No more war, no more lies, no more taking what you can
And that’s why we can’t vote for a Republican
MORAL OF THE STORY: An idiot can write a stupid little tune. But an idiot can’t run this country! - InfamousAtheist, on 07/16/2008, -11/+50My email to him (pleasedontvotefordemocrat@yahoo.com):
Hey, I was just wondering what it feels like to be a scumbag who profits from the deaths of over 3,000 innocent Americans. Can you please tell me what it's like to be the scum of the earth?
Regards,
Ben S
Houston, TX - pintomp3, on 07/16/2008, -4/+36both parties sold us out. both of them bend over for the corporate lobbyists and political action commitees. the difference is the democrats pretend to not enjoy it.
- egoherodotus, on 07/16/2008, -6/+37Wait, didn't 9/11 happen with Bush and the GOP firmly in control of every part of the government?
- froston, on 07/16/2008, -12/+43My E-Mail to Beech Outdoor Advertising. (tricia@beechoutdoor.com)
"I can see ground zero from my office . How does it feel to make some money off the death of 3,000 murdered people? You people are scum. I hope Florida sinks into the ocean.
P.S. ***** You." - Intercon, on 07/15/2008, -10/+41Scum. In a just world, this man would be tarred, feathered, and run out of town on a rail. Come up to New York City with that ***** billboard, why don't you? See what Brooklyn's firefighters have to say about it...
- sigmaman2, on 07/16/2008, -7/+35?????
Does this guy realize that the World Trade Center was attacked while a Republican was in the White House, and Republicans controlled the congress and most state governorships? - glycolized, on 07/15/2008, -9/+36You have to visit the site and listen to the awful song! Holy crap! Except for the post-911 stuff, it's like it was written in 1994. "Darned liberals! Taxes are too high because of welfare! LA LA LA" and so on.
- XBunnyRacer, on 07/16/2008, -0/+20Emalied.. I thanked him for reminding the general public why they DO want to vote for a democrat.. Because republicans are greedy, fear-mongering morons.
- inactive, on 07/16/2008, -1/+22No, I think this is Republicans taking credit for it and saying they'll do it again if they don't get their way.
- crowbar77, on 07/16/2008, -1/+22And the ridiculous thing is the MSM keeps saying how McCain and the republicans are stronger on foreign policy.
- Dustin00, on 07/16/2008, -7/+27Last I checked, it was a Republican president during 9/11.
- monkeyrun, on 07/16/2008, -4/+23Let's see, so they are saying GW Bush is a democrat?
- lothar250, on 07/16/2008, -0/+19From his site: "To hire Mike Meehan to perform The Republican Song and more, live at you concert, party, meeting, or event, please contact him for a reservation."

Let's bombard this sorry *****. - rearlgrant, on 07/15/2008, -2/+17Same song Republicans have been singing since Nixon, so I'm not sure why you'd be surprised.
- altgeeky1, on 07/16/2008, -1/+15>but do you Republicans really want to take electoral advice from a foreigner?!
Uh, when DON'T the neocons take instructions from foreigners?
1) You've heard of Rupert Murdoch, right?
2) You DO realize that the #1 person in charge of the US Department of Homeland Security -- and the guy who WROTE the Patriot Act... Michael Chertoff... he is a citizen of Israel.
Call me liberal, but in my opinion whoever is in charge of the US state police... that should be someone who has sworn only ONE oath of loyalty... to the US and it's Constitution.. no where else. - InfamousAtheist, on 07/16/2008, -1/+14Just under half of the voters in America.
Hopefully fewer than that will support them in the elections, but recent history says otherwise. - pintomp3, on 07/16/2008, -0/+13i guess he will be signed up for a lot of gay porn soon.
- john2kx, on 07/16/2008, -0/+14It is pretty eerie if you think about it that way. Damn.
- AuroraDark, on 07/16/2008, -1/+14It wasn't right after he took office. It was a year into his presidency.
- CaptMonkey, on 07/16/2008, -2/+15I'm so confused, are we rewriting history now to say that Sept 11th was because of the Democrats? I was under the impression that this event occurred while the Republicans were in control...

While there are some differences between the parties of today, they both only give a ***** if the particular issue at hand doesn't sit well with thier constituants, possibly risking thier political status (power over the rest of us)... - dynamojoe, on 07/16/2008, -1/+9Yes, and of course the GOP attention whore who put up these billboards blames Clinton for not capturing OBL, back when OBL was linked to a few hundred deaths. Bush gets a pass even though OBL has increased the body count twentyfold.
Some people you just can't explain. I want to know why the ***** they keep showing up in my state (I WANT THEM OUT). - duster805, on 07/16/2008, -7/+15What an idiot. Sadly, this kind of ***** actually works with "average" Americans. How depressing...
- twitchr, on 07/16/2008, -0/+8i don't like the message, but i would fight for the right to put whatever you want on any billboard. freedom of speech is a funny thing that way. It means that people are free to say what they want weather you like it or not.

- inactive, on 07/16/2008, -1/+8We do not need a third party. We need to eliminate "parties", and collectivist thinking, by simply not supporting those who don't offer substance, and ally themselves with political parties. We need to actually listen to what each individual parasite is saying, and judge them on the content. Force them to explain their positions, and most importantly, get rid of them when they do other then what they say they will do. No second chances.
We have to realize that the political party affiliated are corrupted, bought, and paid for, and therefore not suitable for any office.
The statists control political power in this country through either half of the statist party (republican, or democrat). Supporting a "third" party would simply mean that the statist would have a third dimension from which to control, and to confuse us into thinking we have a choice. Do you really think that the Democrat, Republican, and Libertarian, parties all started out the way they are today? They didn't. They were taken by socialist fascists, and fascist socialists.
The Libertarian Party was a party of principle back when it was comprised of libertarians. Harry Browne turned down tax money twice because taxation is illegitimate, and using stolen money to party with is absurd. Think that will happen now, or ever again? Two parties spending several million tax dollars on balloons is quite enough. We shouldn't tolerate either of them doing it, but we definitely shouldn't encourage a third. - inkswamp, on 07/16/2008, -1/+8That "fear mongering" is backed up by hard science. Republican fear mongering is backed up by greed and a desire for power.
Slight difference, wouldn't you say? - inactive, on 07/16/2008, -0/+7 Here's the difference between the two sides of the Republicrat party...
The government is going to grow bigger, and bigger, and your freedoms are going to be steadily eliminated. You can vote for the red team, and lose social freedom. You can vote blue and lose economic freedom. Either way, the government grows. BTW, neither team will really ever undo what the previous team has done, and significantly restore freedom.
The funny/sad thing about it at this point is that it's very difficult to categorize them as red or blue, these days. It used to be that Democrats were socially libertarian, and Republicans were economically libertarian. Now they're collectively statists. Both socialist, and fascist.
Ever wonder why the democrats didn't start discussing Ron Paul when he was winning polls, and leading in funds, the way the republicans started discussing Hillary? Everyone knows Ron Paul is not liked by the GOP, because he hasn't accepted the neocon/fascists regime. If the Republicans and Democrats were really that opposed each other, why wouldn't the Democrats do whatever they could to do to influence Ron Paul's nomination, thereby effectively eliminating the neocons from the race before the general election even began? I'll tell you why. It's because statists have nothing to say. It's a popularity contest, and they all basically wait their turn to see who has a shot at the profits of the presidency. There is no way the Democrats wanted to be facing an honest, libertarian, politician. By not being a statist, he can break the rules by making real points, and using reason, and facts. "It's not fair!". There is no way they can compete with that.
No, the statists want you to know that you have a choice. It's red, or blue. Forget the fact that "right" vs "left" is *****. Forget the statist/libertarian dynamic altogether. Choose the growth of the government, subject! Which is it going to be?! - faceless323, on 07/16/2008, -2/+8Where were you when they built the Ladder to Heaven?
Did it make you feel like crying?
Or did you think it was kinda gay?
Well I for one believe in the Ladder to Heaven
Ooh yeah yeah yeah, 9-11
I said 9-11 9-11 9-11 9, 9-11 - gnixon70, on 07/16/2008, -0/+7Agreed, as someone once said, "freedom of speech is not there to protect safe speech but to protect offensive speech". Great quote, Wish I remembered who first said it though...
- xtinamo, on 07/16/2008, -1/+8Lyric from verse 2:
"But the liberals and the media are spreading their lies,
Get the hell out of our way and let our soldiers fight."
This lyric bothered me in particular as it doesn't follow the rhyming pattern from verses 1 and 3. Also, if you insert "die" for "fight", not only does it rhyme, but it reveals a disturbing truth about those who still support this war. - Someguy101, on 02/19/2009, -1/+8To me Bush's picture is far more terrifying than the World Trade Center and McCain looks a hell of a lot like Bush to me.
