- chowder, on 12/06/2007, -11/+60Huckster has some skeletons. Big time.
- inactive, on 12/06/2007, -10/+59The fact that Huckabee has a single supporter shows that they are either incapable of doing their own research on this man or just do whatever Chuck Norris tells them to do. In either case, they are mindless drones who will continue to allow this Republic to become the Shattered Union depicted in the video game bearing the same title.
Lucky for Huck it wasn't my daughter who was raped and killed. You wouldn't be able to vote for him. - hvsahin, on 12/06/2007, -8/+32Everyone has made judgment mistakes in their career's, but the dick needs to own up to it.
- Spektr4, on 12/06/2007, -3/+24"And this guy wants to be president." I motion that going forward all presidential candidate hit piece submissions close with this line.
- catalysis, on 12/06/2007, -3/+22"Mike Huckabee's favorite rapist speaks out"
lol, this piece is not biased at all. - inactive, on 12/06/2007, -8/+24My favorite bumber sticker. "Ted Kennedy's car has killed more people than my gun"
- latrosicarius, on 12/06/2007, -0/+15"the first womant he man raped"
Damn you, He Man! Damn you!!! - chimona, on 12/06/2007, -4/+19I looked a little further and it turns out that this guy had been castrated by a mob of vigilantes after the first rape. I can kinda understand thinking he isn't a threat if he's got no balls.
- Haz3rd, on 12/06/2007, -5/+19Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!
- thecoolestguy, on 12/06/2007, -4/+17Huckabee IS the Bush cabal.
- Zarchon, on 12/06/2007, -3/+16And yet the Democrats elect Ted Kennedy over and over even though he directly murdered a woman. Damn those Republicans though.
- reeder, on 12/06/2007, -12/+25You are using a fake/duplicate account for political purposes, everyone can see for themselves:

The real question is who is paying you. Probably Giuliani, the ***** that he is. - reeder, on 12/06/2007, -14/+26You are ALSO using a fake/duplicate account for political purposes, everyone can see for themselves:

I'm disgusted with you people. The collective sickness you bring to politics is what is destroying America. Enjoy the mirror every morning. - absurdist, on 12/06/2007, -2/+11Are you ***** kidding me? Imagine the rage this guy already has, to assault and rape a woman. Then imagine the rage he has from having his balls torn off by an angry mob. Then put all that rage in a cell for however many years to fester. If you can't see that's a time bomb waiting to go off, pull your head out of your backside.
And no, I'm not sympathizing with the *****. He should have been left in jail to rot, not freed to vent all that rage. - kajoob, on 12/06/2007, -4/+13wow, nice catch
- blackinthmiddle, on 12/06/2007, -1/+9Except that there are pretty well known cases of rapists getting castrated only to rape again with broomstick handles and the like. Bottom line, Huckabee goofed on this one, not that I was going to vote for him anyway.
- RedStarRizing, on 12/06/2007, -12/+19you have to be a grade A fool to vote for anyone that let a rapist out. of course this means huckabee will get tons of votes
- macguy815, on 12/06/2007, -5/+12Okay let's see who we have in the republican party who doesn't have a major point going against them: Rudy has his mistress scandal, Huckabee pardoned a rapist who then raped again (and doesn't believe in evolution), Romney is a mormon (many in the bible belt still consider mormonism to be a cult and wouldn't vote for him), McCain seems to be falling behind Ron Paul (but otherwise would be decent in terms of being not too corrupt)
So really, it would seem the other candidates are paving the way for Ron Paul without him trying. - kajoob, on 12/06/2007, -3/+10Bush 41 ran his Willie Horton ads against Dukakis and he was VILIFIED by the press. Yet almost the same situation occurs here and the media now questions how Huckabee could do such a thing. Funny how that works.
- SaladCactusKing, on 12/06/2007, -8/+15Digg seems to be nothing but political mudslinging nowadays. Grow some intelligence and digg some real stuff up instead of reactionary election smear campaigns
- zeusabj, on 12/06/2007, -3/+9OH-GOOD-GRIEF!!! It just never ends with you whackjobs does it?! Extremism has just destroyed the integrity of this site. I am so disappointed when I see how horrible Digg has become these days. I see all these insane attacks on everything from Republicans to religion to drugs and it has just gone beyond the absurd. Please Digg staff, I implore you. Remove the politics section from this site. It has been completely hijacked by total nutcases and you can't believe anything you read there anymore. You might as well just remove the whole thing if you have no intention of at least attempting to remove the bias and propaganda pieces. The level of misinformation and downright slander around here has just reached the point where you can't trust ANYTHING you read here! I take EVERY post with a grain of salt now! I mean the Weekly World News has more credibility than some of these insane stories I see here. I'm not affiliated with any political party, but I swear I think I'll vote straight Republican in the upcoming election if this is how real Democrats act. You people should be ashamed of yourselves. Any idiot can do a search on "Democrat" or "Republican" on this site and see how blatantly unbalance the stories are. I don't mind you guys making your points, just quit with the outlandish stories PLEASE. Its just reached a level of utter ridiculousness that is beyond mere political jockeying. You people have no class whatsoever.
- addictist, on 12/06/2007, -2/+8I'm glad somebody said this. I feel like a republican listening to all this scum.
- blackinthmiddle, on 12/06/2007, -5/+11You're joking, right? He put in his two cents, asking for the guy to be paroled. For the mere fact that he thought it was a good idea speaks VOLUMES about his decision making ability.
Let's make this easy for the rational, thinking Americans. Any presidential candidate who thinks it's wise to let a rapist go free because he grew up "on the wrong side of the tracks", please raise your hand! - badqat, on 12/06/2007, -3/+8I'd call it justifiable homicide, but that's just me...
- TheWorm, on 12/06/2007, -1/+5What polls is he leading in? And i don't count Chucknorrisjokes.com as a credible source for political news.
- Maddoktor2, on 12/06/2007, -1/+5Yeah, like Huck stands a chance in the first place. Right...
Move on folks, nothing to see here... - Dustin00, on 12/06/2007, -0/+4Sooo... she's not going to vote for him?
- MadN, on 12/06/2007, -5/+9Candidate lies.
Candidate lies about past lies.
Candidate directly caused at least one death.
Passes the GW Republican test..... - Haecceity, on 12/06/2007, -2/+6I was just about to say exactly the same thing. You wouldn't expect the guy to be a risk and I can understand someone like Huckabee thinking the guy had suffered enough.
- JigoroKano, on 12/06/2007, -1/+5He was castrated, but it was never proven that it was a mob that did it.
Some time the crazy sex fiends do castrate themselves. - trotskyist, on 12/06/2007, -4/+7OBAMA'S MIDDLE NAME IS HUSSEIN!?!
it's just like Saddam!!! He must be a terrorist!!!
Thank you for including his middle name to point this out to us! Truly, you are a real patriot. - netant, on 12/06/2007, -1/+4Yeah, perhaps we're looking at this all wrong.
Let's get Ted Kennedy to run for president. After all, he's only a little dirtier than Mike Huckabee. - jerryudigg, on 12/06/2007, -3/+6Mrs Clinton is married to a rapist. So she must be out of the race too.
- brad3378, on 12/06/2007, -0/+3Warning: some viewers may find the following material lame.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtXjm77Wo4k - JDove6, on 12/06/2007, -2/+5Obama is the only upfront stand-up guy in the main contention...Huckabee is a religious zealot...seperate church and state.
- inactive, on 12/06/2007, -3/+6We can only hope...
- brad3378, on 12/06/2007, -0/+3Cars don't kill people - drunk democrats do.
- mattsw84, on 12/06/2007, -4/+6Worthy of his very own hit piece now nice.
- Xizer, on 12/06/2007, -1/+3Since when is consensual sex with an intern 'rape' ?
- roosterjm2k2, on 12/06/2007, -0/+2I dont even see it as a mistake...its a non-issue.
Convicted people are paroled all the time...hence the existance of ... parole.
Its a catch 22. If you hold them for their whole term, if they are on good behavior in prison, people like the ACLU chime in and say its wrong to do so...or people complain about the over-population of prisons... If you let them go...you face this. Not to mention that not everyone convicted is gulty. One of my friends in high school was convicted of rape...at a party, where the chick was sucking him off on a couch (he was nearly passed out drunk at this point) ... she dragged him upstairs, and claimed rape the next day...with over 15 witnesses to how she did it...he still got 5 years (lower sentence because of lack of evidence...) ... and now is branded a sex offender for life...
Our justice system is ran by fallible humans, it has to be, by logic, fallible as well. - inactive, on 12/06/2007, -1/+3I think you need to look up the term "directly"
- inactive, on 12/06/2007, -0/+2Ron Paul also does not believe in the separation of Church and State.
http://dmiessler.com/blogarchive/ron-paul-is-not-a ... - RobotCitizen, on 12/06/2007, -3/+5How do we know Jesus didn't tell Huckster to free that rapist? Or maybe Huckster doesn't believe in psychology the same way he doesn't believe in evolutionary biology.
- tehbored, on 12/06/2007, -7/+9***** Huck and ***** Chuck. Wow, that rhymes really well!
- Damian91, on 12/06/2007, -1/+3This is quite sick and disappointing. :|
- netant, on 12/06/2007, -0/+2Gee, do I believe that politicians that invoke the name of God in vain are lying scum to be voted against, or do I believe that God wanted women raped and murdered, and innocent Iraqis and Americans dead? Tough question...
- avajoon, on 12/06/2007, -1/+3I for one can't stand those that use religion to warrant their deeds and hide behind it when things go south. There's Bush who says he has a direct line to God, and God says go to Iraq and wage war - then you have Huckabee who shares the God party line with Bush and even though thou shalt not kill is in his mandate, as Governor, how many people did he put to death? So now God tells him to let a rapist go free to do what rapists and murderers do...and a girl is dead. And he sleeps well at night because after he's done praying next to his warm little bed he dreams happy little president wanna be dreams because God told him it wasn't his fault. Huckabee and those like him make me vomit. What happens when the rapist says God told him to do it? He's playing patty cake with Bubba in Folsom for the rest of his life.
- blankoboy, on 12/06/2007, -2/+3Any job worth a grain of salt requires a thorough interviewing process to ensure the applicants are fit for the job. So, why is it then that the MOST important job in the USA (perhaps, in retrospect, the world) doesn't more thoroughly grill these candidates? We all know why....USA is bound for hell in a handbasket.
Looking back 20-30 years from now, next year will be seen as the turning point for the USA unless something is done. - inactive, on 12/06/2007, -2/+3Huckabee is a real Jesus freak. Seriously. He's said something like "it would be un-Christian not to" to excuse why he supported giving certain benefits to illegal immigrants. He puts his religious beliefs above the law.
- mickcn, on 12/06/2007, -1/+2We need to make an arena the Colosseum will envy for all time. Then all we need to is watch our murderers, rapists, child molesters, and wife beaters kill each other off. It would pay for itself in a couple weeks, and we could feed starving people with the excess money.
