- Alheithinn, on 02/24/2009, -2/+15It's disheartening, it really is, to see these partisan games being played while the country falls into ruin. All the Republicans care about is winning in 2012. They don't care about anything else. They've completely withdrawn from actually solving the crisis.
- holesome, on 02/24/2009, -2/+11Paying to encourage partisan bickering can't be what serves the public. Evidently Romney's not interested in the common good so much as keeping his rich pals in office.
- paintgrl, on 02/24/2009, -1/+9I wonder if there will ever be a time where politicians can do the work of the people first, and server their party second.
I really hope some strong 3rd and 4th parties pop up to fill the vacuum who are more socially centrist then the Republicans and more fiscally conservative then the Democrats. The libertarians seem too kooky to me and the rest I know little about.
Romney's behavior is just digging the Republicans farther into obscurity. - barackoblogger, on 02/24/2009, -2/+10Why shouldn't they profit while their constituents suffer?
- poopsybythebay, on 02/25/2009, -0/+3I guess that is one of the reasons he is selling one of his houses so he can pay for loyalty from the losers--after all, greenbacks are the only thing they understand.
- inactive, on 02/24/2009, -2/+1Sorry folks, neither side is for the people. The people need to put their priorities into government faces. Until then we'll have more of this s*it but with someone else's name on it.
