- cindylauper, on 10/11/2007, -8/+101Will someone please buy him a Wii so he'll stop bugging the adults while they're working!
- onemanfilmcrew, on 10/11/2007, -4/+55Yes, he'll be regarded as a great president for his resolve in Iraq much like a Nascar driver would be considered a great driver because of his resolve to crash his car repeatedly.
- metalhead3767, on 10/11/2007, -5/+53He thinks its his government and his country. He has even said "my government" before. Its our government. For the people, by the people. He does not understand that. Now hes frustrated that hes loosing support for his war and no ones really jumping on his "blame the democrats, they want time tables" bandwagon. This man is not a leader. Hes a short sighted, narrow minded fool. All he can focus on is Iraq and hes marching around Washington having pissy fits because he can't get what he wants. He was the same fool America elected six years ago and reelected two years ago. And the sad thing is that America chose him instead of Kerry because Bush seemed like a nicer person. The man is an idiot. America does not vote for leaders. An election is a popularity contest.
- thenativeraver, on 10/11/2007, -5/+45You must be joking.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -5/+40Sounds like he's been hitting the oval office mini bar again.
- swrostmore, on 10/11/2007, -2/+36More like a Nascar driver who keeps running over spectators while insisting he can win the race in one more lap
- wonderworm, on 10/11/2007, -6/+37Someone remind me how an idiot hillbilly redneck became the president of the most powerful nation on the planet please.....WTF!
- novask, on 10/11/2007, -2/+29No he wont. You want to know why? Because I'll be around and by god I'll bitch about all the *****. About how we were lied to about WMD's when the rest of the world said no, how later he changed his story to "liberating" the Iraqi's while ultimately we ruined their lives and killed hundreds of thousands and lastly how thousands of US troops died in the process. And tens of thousands more were left with severe war injuries. Oh yes, I'll be around to teach the future generations and no mother ***** media will silence me.
- Eilarais, on 10/11/2007, -4/+28Possibly, but isn't that a testament to the stupidity of people, and not of the greatness of their leaders?
What I would love is for Bush to announce, with absolute determination and resolve, that walking into the sea does not cause people to drown. The average intelligence in this country would double, at a minimum. - tabledesk, on 10/11/2007, -1/+23We must all remember that Bush grew up in a prim and proper townhouse in suburban Connecticut. He is not a redneck or a hillbilly. Do not let a Stetson hat fool you.
- reed311, on 10/11/2007, -2/+22You didn't even look at the damn article. It was a clip from FOX NEWS. Got to love the self-owning by the Conservatives.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -3/+22HE IS OFF THE WAGON
- n00854180t, on 10/11/2007, -0/+18Probably that and the local coke dealer.
- NikoKun, on 10/11/2007, -3/+21no, he'll be remembered as the moron who started the second vietnam.
- LenzM, on 10/11/2007, -2/+18More like a Nascar driver with a resolve to turn right.
It's not that Bush has a resolve to fail, he is just determined to take whatever actions he think are correct regardless if they are obviously bound to fail. - NSMike, on 10/11/2007, -1/+17You apparently didn't see that the news clip was from Fox News.
Oh, and denigrating those who disagree with your opinions is not a viable strategy for debunking their points of view, mmmKay? Try some logic next time and someone might devote some time to reading your arguments rather than automatically burying your insults. - aryo, on 10/11/2007, -9/+24what a belligerent *****.
- terminal157, on 10/11/2007, -1/+14I'll be there with you. I promise my hatred for what this man and those around him have done is not going to fade with time. If we're still making the same mistakes thirty years from now I'm going to be "that crazy guy" shouting at everyone on the street corners.
- yonas, on 10/11/2007, -2/+14Vote for Bush the first time? Fine. Vote for him the second time? Hmm....iffy, but fine. Support him staunchly until this day even after all of his failures? Jesus, how ***** stupid are you?
- toddcat, on 10/11/2007, -0/+12He's a spoiled legacy child....he's never had to work for anything in his life and that has made him cold and passionless and ultimately crazy.
- duggtodeath, on 10/11/2007, -8/+19You know its funny when his friends won't even invite him to the house party.
- mateo60, on 10/11/2007, -1/+12He'll be remembered more for his lying to get us into this war.
- Lister169, on 10/11/2007, -1/+12He should have brought donuts. Everyone is glad to see you when you bring donuts.
- canUdi9it, on 10/11/2007, -2/+12I guess that makes Faux News leftist too, huh? It was reported there first. Try reading the article next time.
- fatfinger, on 10/11/2007, -3/+13jcm267, what is your major malfunction numb nutts? I think the major difference between the german Nazi's or ww2 and the 20 percent of the (un)American ppl that still stand behind this crook is that we out number the neo-con-nazis.
- IckyChris, on 10/11/2007, -1/+10It's not about getting Republicans to vote Democratic. It's about getting independents to vote Democratic and Republicans to stay home.
And funny that unsubstantiated drivel is good enough to go to war on, but not good enough to discuss on Digg. - DangerCollie, on 10/11/2007, -0/+9In fairness the first popularity contest in 2000 was decided by the Supreme Court. The second one may have been rigged, particularly in Ohio. It's quite possible Bush has never been duly elected. Which would raise some interesting Constitutional questions. Like does someone who cheats their way into office get to pick Supreme Court judges? To me it would seem to invalidate those appointments and any treaties or trade agreements he signed.
- strafefire, on 10/11/2007, -0/+9Actually, we need to STOP voting for the party., and start voting for who will be the best person to run the country...
- f8tbrautmehere, on 10/11/2007, -1/+10Logged in just to digg your ass down for being a retarded lemming. As was said previously, there was video from FOX NEWS.
Grow a ***** brain and wake up. He wasn't even invited to the meeting you idiot, but felt the need to drop by and tell everyone how committed he was to his friends over at Haliburton, I mean, the War in Iraq. - canUdi9it, on 10/11/2007, -3/+12So much for gDub being a dry drunk. Sounds like he's been hitting the sauce.
- canUdi9it, on 10/11/2007, -3/+11It was on FOX NEWS your most trusted source of neocon talking points. Read the article.
- terminal157, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8What does Hugo Chaves have to do with anything? Nice straw-man.
- phaed, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8These guys believe the future to be wars upon wars and that by doing all these idiocies in the middle east we will somehow win the war against those damn arabs. Well in my opinion they are partly right right, that is, if they continue to do what they are doing we will definitely have wars.
They are creating the future they believe is going to happen. The rest of the country, and the saner minds, believe that we don't necessarily have to kill each other and that the relative peace can continue indefinitely as long as e don't create beef. From this perspective these war hawks look like retards for starting the beef. They think of themselves as heroes of their imagined future. - toddcat, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9When this man dies, many people will celebrate. I can't think of a more justifiably unpopular person in the US since Kissinger and Nixon
- dn11, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8seriously, how could any dry drunk not start up again in his position?
- 69Liters, on 10/11/2007, -2/+10Born again christian my ass... haven't you seen that clip where he's speaking off the record with one of his advisors and he uses all sorts of florid language and is nothing like the idiot we see on TV.
- f8tbrautmehere, on 10/11/2007, -2/+10You have the same mental retardation as the president. Who'd have thought there were two of you on the planet.
- toddcat, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7The description draws from a FAUX News article......so are you saying you don't trust FAUX News either? That would be the first intelligent thing you've said on here.
- duggtodeath, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8Quote: "When I take action, I’m not going to fire a $2 million missile at a $10 empty tent and hit a camel in the butt. It’s going to be decisive." - President George W. Bush to Howard Fineman in the September 24, 2001 issue of Newsweek.
- toddcat, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7This coming from the supporter of a President who oversaw the outing of a CIA agent, who did nothing while N'awlins drowned, who ***** on the Constitution every day. You have some gall to say that.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -2/+9anybody have the link to the actual news conference?
- monknj80, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7The counry always gets the president it deserves. If more people voted or even cared about the political process, we would be in the ***** we are in.
- f8tbrautmehere, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8"WASHINGTON — President Bush shocked Capitol Hill staffers and Republican leaders Monday when he crashed a meeting at the White House to deliver a blunt message that he wasn't backing down on Iraq and Republicans need to understand that.
"It was stunning," said one GOP aide who attended the meeting. "We couldn't believe he came in."
"We kept looking at each other, amazed he came in," said another Republican aide.
Bush was described as folksy, adamant and mildly profane as he interrupted the meeting between senior White House communications staffers Tony Snow and Ed Gillespie and GOP leaders. His message: the policy on Iraq isn't changing. He is not backing down and no one on Capitol Hill should be confused into thinking he is letting up.
The interruption precedes what is expected to be an all-nighter in the Senate on Tuesday, ordered by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid as a way to protest GOP blocking tactics on moves to compel U.S. troop withdrawals from Iraq.
Speaking on the Senate floor, Reid said Iraq is the most important issue facing the United States and attempts to block legislation calling for troops to be withdrawn from Iraq will be met with a hardball response."
Where is the lie? Was it FOX NEWS that was lying then?
Source: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,289504,00.html - metalhead3767, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6We're pouring billions of dollars into this mess every month and we can't even control bagdad, never mind the rest of the country. Thousands of Americans are DEAD because of this unnecessary war. Bush's pipe dream of a democratic stable Iraq would take years and is not worth the lives and money. We need to get out. Its not our problem and it never was. Iraq is worse off than we invaded and the situation is becoming a civil war. We need to get out and we need to get out NOW.
- metalhead3767, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7I think if Bush could make himself a dictator he would.
- dn11, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6me no read, only look at pictures them is really pretty like
- toddcat, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7Well here's some gross profanity. ***** that cocksucking ***** (sorry kids....)
- canUdi9it, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,289504,00.html
Or google it yourself like I did. You might learn something. - dn11, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7is "sharia law" neo con code for "constitution"?
- toddcat, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6Napoleon, Hitler, Pol Pot all had backbone. This has nothing to do with backbone. This has to do with a man who has no regard for the views of the American public. He can claim that we're unpatriotic but history will judge him very, very, very harshly. He had the whole world at his fingertips, the whole world supporting the US on 9/12/01. We could have brought the world together and instead he has caused more division and hatred. He's a sick sick man.
