- DRIE, on 11/21/2007, -13/+138Ron Paul raises $100,000 in his sleep...
- mediaspree, on 11/21/2007, -4/+128Please tell me that whole site is parody.
- thewump, on 11/21/2007, -8/+93Why do the words "prayer" and "jesus" appear on this page as much as "Huckabee"
- theodorelogan, on 11/21/2007, -9/+89I'm a Ron Paul supporter.
That said, I think it is ridiculous to say that raising $230,000 in one day is a failure, especially for a candidate that has, thus far, had so little fundraising success.
Ron Paul supporters would do well to gloat far less. If Huckabee bows out, his supporters will be looking for somewhere to go. We don't want to burn any bridges.
Story dugg down for smarmy attitude. - Soffrite, on 11/21/2007, -26/+101Just another day for Ron Paul.. he's kicking Huckabee's ass in donations today and he doesn't even need a "money bomb" day to do it.
http://ronpaulgraphs.com/rp_vs_huck_today.html - kryptman40k, on 11/21/2007, -8/+81zomg! owned.
that's just funny stuff. - AHIGHERGOD, on 11/21/2007, -12/+77HA!
"The stupid Paulbots are donating today, too: http://ronpaulgraphs.com/rp_vs_huck_today.html
The power of prayer will keep them from outraising us."

"Chuck Norris will kick the US Constitution out of existence..."
Is that forum for real? Please tell me it's not real. It can't be real. Please. - DragonGirl724, on 11/21/2007, -18/+71no THIS is the most embarassing 'money bomb' LOL it's barack's:
http://donttreadonmike.wordpress.com/2007/11/17/ba ...
$4,500! LOL and he's a so-called FRONT RUNNER TOP TIER CANDIDATE...O'PLEASE! - TheTaoOfBill, on 11/21/2007, -7/+56"Well, the meter hasn't moved. Maybe everyone is sleeping. I'm sure when the sun comes up we will quickly raise 20 million."
I love that quote on the forum page lol
When Midnight struck on Nov 5th you knew damn well it was going to be a big day. We raised what huckabee has now within 20 minutes - mbelleghem, on 11/21/2007, -6/+49Excellent post. Dug for this pure comedy gold, posted by the admin in complete seriousness:
"Soldier of God, i'm not sure if wishing his children to burn in hell is very christian. I will call my pastor and ask his opinion. If he says it is not OK, I may have to delete part of your pray."
America is weird. - soulmantim, on 11/21/2007, -2/+29I think this has to be like the fredthompsonforum.com where they aren't really Huck Supporters, but a hilarious satire. Great job at 'getting one past the goalie' for digg.
- metapop, on 11/21/2007, -7/+32are those comments fake?! what an embarassment...
RP '08 & hopefully '12 too - scubasteve377, on 11/21/2007, -5/+30Actually, if you figure he sleeps from 10pm to 6am, he raises $1,000,000 in his sleep. http://paulcash.slact.net/November-5th/
- macman2k, on 11/21/2007, -9/+33I must say that by any historic measure of grassroots support, it appears that Huckabee is doing better than most.
Unfortunately, Ron Paul has raised the grassroots bar to a level that actually allows him to compete with the front runners despite the media giving Huckabee more "credibility" than Ron Paul. Ron Paul's grassroots are generating 4.5 times the fundraising of Huckabee. - bloaded, on 11/21/2007, -8/+27im all for everyone supporting ron paul I agree with his message too but I hope ron paul supporters don't go down the path of slandering other candidates. Huckabee seems to be one of the more respectable ones too.
- jumpyg1258, on 11/21/2007, -7/+26Not as embarrassing or as much of a failure as this fund raising day...
http://digg.com/2008_us_elections/Barack_Obama_s_B ... - drizzlelicious, on 11/21/2007, -2/+21That's obviously a joke.... ....right?
- jklikesnews, on 11/21/2007, -1/+20When is digg going to ban this guy? It's getting old.
- inactive, on 11/21/2007, -11/+28"Huckabee, who in recent years has lost 100 pounds, has the roundish, half-deflated physique of an ex-fatty. With his button nose and never-waning smile, he looks slightly unreal, like an oversize Muppet. I was so taken aback by his appearance that I checked his hands to make sure they had the right number of fingers."
-Matt Taibbi, Rolling Stone - apollyon, on 11/21/2007, -3/+18At the end of the day (1 hour 44minutes ago) Huckabee had picked up ~$225,000, while Ron Paul's camp had raised ~$250,000.
- NightVortez, on 11/21/2007, -3/+18Why are people insulting him for this? Imitation is the highest form of flattery.
Both him and Paul made some extra money from this. - ThaddeusB, on 11/21/2007, -2/+17because its satire
- Progrockusa, on 11/21/2007, -1/+16it's satire
- brad77, on 11/21/2007, -3/+17Holy crap. It's a regular troll-fest in there. Maybe I've been watching too much Colbert, but it seems like 80% of the posters are straight up ***** to get a rise out of the regulars and each other.
This can't be real. - TsuruchiBrian, on 11/21/2007, -2/+16Some Christians wouldn't believe in Math if their pastor told them not to
- Rotter, on 11/21/2007, -1/+14I think it is???
- soulmantim, on 11/21/2007, -4/+17Maybe in Mexico
- trentasaurus, on 11/21/2007, -4/+17Agreed. I will, however, laugh at Obama's pathetic fundraising day because he's been declared by the media as a "front runner" and it's funny to see what happens when you rely on regular people for money.
- srodolff, on 11/21/2007, -10/+23Well, since Ron Paul's money bomb was bigger, is he in smaller bits?
- wreckosaurus, on 11/21/2007, -2/+14It's satire
- bizchris, on 11/21/2007, -4/+15Wasn't Huckabee one of the ones who raised their hands for not believing in evolution?
- ThaddeusB, on 11/21/2007, -3/+14It's not
- inactive, on 11/21/2007, -3/+14grassroots support means more than internet fundraising. you guys are going to learn that lesson in the primaries.
- ThaddeusB, on 11/21/2007, -3/+13Yes the whole site is PaulBot satire
http://www.wired.com/politics/onlinerights/news/20 ... - ThaddeusB, on 11/21/2007, -3/+13It's not
- inactive, on 11/21/2007, -5/+15Attack, or accurate description from someone who's met the guy? I lold.
BTW your mother is a whore. - ThaddeusB, on 11/21/2007, -1/+11It is.
- sanman, on 11/21/2007, -4/+14Chuck scared em away
- inactive, on 11/21/2007, -6/+15You are the first RP support that didn't sound like an ass. dug
- Marijuana, on 11/21/2007, -2/+11X^14 you're filled with hate. Blocked :(
- supersheep7, on 11/21/2007, -1/+10chuck norris is mike huckabee's most prominent supporter...seriously
- jklikesnews, on 11/21/2007, -3/+12And again.. it's getting old.
- Murdats, on 11/21/2007, -3/+12what I dont get is why are people accusing 'paulbots' of donating money?
im not sure but last i checked its usually real people that donate money, not bots. - TheTaoOfBill, on 11/21/2007, -11/+20This is not an average day for us. A recent e-mail from the campaign has made a call for extra cash now. So we are answering that call. We have a goal of beating Huckabee on his own money bomb day.
- DaSuHouSe, on 11/21/2007, -3/+12Wow, I just looked at XXXXXXXXXXXXXX's comment history and man does he hate Ron Paul. Despite the majority of them being anti-Ron Paul, I've yet to see one bit of constructive criticism.
- Beaupedia, on 09/28/2008, -4/+13I received no campaign Email saying we should donate today to beat Huckabee on his own money bomb day. That would be incredibly childish.
- 0zzy, on 11/21/2007, -2/+11That's not what the email said :X. It said they need money now to pay for ads in december.
- ThaddeusB, on 11/21/2007, -2/+10http://www.wired.com/politics/onlinerights/news/20 ...
