Michigan Electric Bills to Go up, Way up
senate.michigan.gov — Sens. Brown and Kuipers: Electric customers should prepare for utility bill shock - Estimates of the House-passed bills predicted rate increases of up to 28-percent - or $255 - for DTE customers and up to 25.2-percent for CMS customers. Neither figure incorporates additional increases of up to seven-percent for power plant construction.
