Members of Congress: De-Fund Planned Parenthood
lifenews.com — Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- On Wednesday night, several members of Congress lined up on the floor of the House of Representatives and issued a call for de-funding Planned Parenthood. They said taxpayers shouldn't be forced to fund the abortion business -- even if the money doesn't directly go towards abortions.

Only an irresponsible, lying Ellenelle—Is there any other kind?—would attempt to rationalize the taxpayers' underwriting of abortion mills w/a line of crap like this.
- reland1, on 07/11/2008, -1/+8Kudos to the congresspeople that took this stand...now lets see what they did on FISA....hmmm

http://www.youtube.com/user/prolifeinformation - kemojr, on 07/13/2008, -0/+4I do not think it is my responsibility as a taxpayer to support Planned Parenthood which is an abortion institution. The wholesale slaughter of human fetuses is in my opinion an affront to God and a stain on the honor of this great nation.
Using the abortionists own rationale that a woman's body is her own and therefore she should have control of it, it follows that since it is her own she should be responsible for it and anything she does with it including the responsibility of her sexual actions.
In public funding for abortion we are asked to be responsible for the acts of others even when we find those acts to be against our conscience.
If anyone supports abortion they should contribute to that cause themselves personally and not ask me to do the same. - slownsteady70, on 07/14/2008, -0/+2I feel bad not only for the children who are murdered through "Planned Parenthood", but also for the poor, misguided young women who believe this is their best option, and finally for the "educated feminists" who think this is societal progress; I wish they worked as hard finding these unwanted children homes as they do trying to dehumanize the unborn and sugar-coat the use of suction machines.
