- jmpeagle, on 12/09/2007, -1/+88anyone else notice how some of Ron's meet-up groups are in Canada? hahahaha
- brianbb98, on 12/09/2007, -4/+81It's almost like we give a damn about our country...
- egonSchiele, on 12/09/2007, -14/+75Paul v. Kucinich for '08!
- WRellim, on 12/09/2007, -5/+46Meh... the ORIGINAL visual comparison is much better because they are side-by-side: http://www.infiniteronpaul.com/meetupmaps/
Plus, it comes on a shirt version (hard to do that with an animated gif): http://www.infiniteronpaul.com/?page=Shirts - liltekgurl, on 12/09/2007, -5/+42oh hell yeah - proud to be a Ron Paul girl
- stephbangm, on 12/09/2007, -9/+44Become a Delegate or Ron Paul will NOT be President

Approved by the Ron Paul 2008 Presidential Campaign Committee: Jeff Greenspan, Regional Coordinator - CanIGetAWitness, on 12/09/2007, -12/+47Let's face it. The "Meetup groups" for everyone in this list except for Ron Paul happen behind closed doors and is comprised of mostly older white men in suits.
- afruff23, on 12/09/2007, -9/+40Wow, a Giuliani supporter who can use a computer!
- CondoleezzaRice, on 12/09/2007, -2/+29Imagine- an election where no matter who wins or loses- the people win!
- TheRealToma, on 12/09/2007, -3/+30Long live the animated gif!
- Brad324, on 12/09/2007, -0/+27I'd go to one. You know the saying "when America coughs, Europe catches a cold"? Well Canada gets herpes and parkinsons. Canada for Ron Paul 08
- peestandingup, on 12/09/2007, -5/+28Here's to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes... the ones who see things differently -- they're not fond of rules... You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can't do is ignore them because they change things... they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.
Ron Paul 2008! - inactive, on 12/09/2007, -6/+29What can you say? Freedom is popular
- spyd3rweb, on 12/09/2007, -1/+23Gun owners don't win if Kucinich wins.
- stephbangm, on 12/09/2007, -5/+25Let's turn our staunch support into real votes! Now, if the majority of Ron Paul supporters actually vote in the Primaries, we would most likely win. Even if only 3-5% of the public support Ron Paul like the official polls say, only about 5-10% of the population vote in the Republican Primary! That's why it's critical that we have to work hard right now. Just a few people could make or break this election!
- Beakerz, on 12/09/2007, -0/+19Wrong.
He is not against gay marriage.
"Additionally, when asked if he was supportive of gay marriage Paul responded "I am supportive of all voluntary associations and people can call it whatever they want.""
Got off wikipedia but its from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCM_wQy4YVg if you want to search for it. - Groovemaster, on 12/09/2007, -12/+31...according the corporate media.
- stephbangm, on 12/09/2007, -5/+23"I'd consider voting for him, if only he wasn't a republican."
^
This is called polarization of bipartisanship—making you think that it's Republicans vs Democrats, when in reality, they're the same party; They are two sides of the same evil coin.
Another example: Republicans and Democrats are like brothers but in the end, they're family; They stick together. You can say I'll just vote for the "lesser of two evils". If this is the case, you're still voting for evil! So it's not about the "lesser of two evils"; It's about the greater of the one true candidate!
Ron Paul is a Republican but he's also a lifetime Libertarian; So instead of being polarized by the political party system, look at the individual for what he stands for: freedom, liberty and the restoration of the Constitution—that's what Ron Paul stands for. - FF9999, on 12/09/2007, -9/+25Please diggers, get involved and donate at teaparty07.com on the 16th, the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party! We are finally puting a stop to all this anti-freedom action by the government lately. Don't tase me bro, vote Ron Paul 08!
- odigity, on 12/09/2007, -0/+16Every four years the election cycle begins, and seemingly out of nowhere, and perfectly in sync, the mainstream media gives us a short list of 3-10 Democrats and Republicans and declare them 'top-tier'. The reason all these 'top-tier' candidates are seen as 'electable' is simply because the media says so.
Ron Paul, on the other hand, started with nothing but himself, his record, his merit, and his message. All of his support - the activists, the money, and the small but ever rising poll numbers, had to be earned the long, slow, hard way. Person by person.
This is grassroots politics you're witnessing. Most of you have not seen it in your lifetime, but it is the way American politics was supposed to be. So yes, the map of meetup groups is meaningful, if you care about this country at all. - mrASSMAN, on 12/09/2007, -2/+17Durr, and yet somehow these bums were able to donate over $12 million* in 3 months!
*millions expected dec. 16 - paulisnotdead, on 12/09/2007, -0/+14Jebus, thats a terrible combination.
- terminal157, on 12/09/2007, -0/+14People you see on the internet actually have a physical presence in the real world, believe it or not. I'm a dude sitting in his house in North Carolina, for instance. Will the fact that I'm online right now somehow make my vote count less, do you think?
- mrASSMAN, on 12/09/2007, -1/+14paul-girls are hot.
- Me1000, on 12/09/2007, -3/+16Ron Paul is against Gov. regulation of the internet, which is a good thing!
just look at the SAFE act.
Do you really want the people that were so prepared for Katrina to regulate the internet? - ThyLabyrinth, on 12/09/2007, -0/+13LOL! I think the most telling number isn't the almost 76K people in the Meetup groups but the 26 COUNTRIES.
Paul's touched a raw nerve with dissatisfied, alienated voters not just in the US but in many countries where people a sick and ***** tired of the same old politics as usual that never seem to go anywhere but centralize more power in the capitals.
In one fell swoop people have started to realize that there is this wonderful other way to have your cake and eat it too while not having to enslave people or invade countries. - orxor, on 12/09/2007, -3/+16Ron Paul is against government regulating the internet. So thank you Ron Paul. (There fixed it for you)
- jmpeagle, on 12/09/2007, -3/+16wow, you are either an anti-Paul troll or retarded for copying and pasting the same garbage in like 10 other threads
- clo2400, on 12/09/2007, -8/+21I was out holding Ron Paul signs today...What did you do for your country today InRusset?
- Me1000, on 12/09/2007, -1/+14Well these millions of supporters are so passionate that they will vote for Ron Paul,
and when they do it will be the beginning of a revolution! - agaudet, on 12/09/2007, -2/+14JUST LEAVE BRITTNEY ALONE
seriously
your annoying
You know why they wont stop?
People want their freedom back, and only one candidate will get it back for them. - jaymzdean, on 12/09/2007, -6/+18The crazy thing is that the Ron Paul haters think the fact that democracy being sabotaged is so funny. You fools have no idea what you're messing with. But you're going to find out, I'm afraid.
- VicHislop, on 12/09/2007, -0/+11Um, just because a citizen of the United States is abroad doesn't mean that they can't vote in elections.
- inactive, on 12/09/2007, -2/+13You are a smart cookie. Instead of looking at something meaningful, like his voting record, to determine his commitment to his policies, you use........ the name of the party he's running under. Congrats. Any other important criteria you use to weed out political candidates? Perhaps the shape of their campaign logo? The color of their ties? What version of Windows they use?
- ladalang, on 12/09/2007, -3/+14If this doesn't say it all, I knew he had incredible numbers and was number one in the real polls. This is a better representation of America. The News is lying, when will people realize the truth?
- PricklySponge, on 12/09/2007, -0/+11It's a bad thing because the state almost never voluntarily give up power
- sestalker, on 12/09/2007, -0/+1126 Countries!
- ladalang, on 12/09/2007, -0/+10and they are all helping him set campaign contribution records. Double Durr...
- ftcram, on 12/09/2007, -0/+10Sorry but it has been so long since a candidate made me hopeful for the future of this country.
- asforme, on 12/09/2007, -1/+11Guess what, it doesn't matter whether or not Ron Paul thinks something is wrong, he acknowledges the freedom to do whatever you want. You're never going to find someone who agrees with you on every issue, but someone who acknowledges your freedom is the best you can get.
- kronzdigg, on 12/09/2007, -6/+16I really think that we need to make sure that the polls are monitored full time, we need to infiltrate the voting process to make sure that it is not cheated. There is no way Ron Paul will not win. If he does not win (due to cheating) we may need real revolution to save the republic.
- jmpeagle, on 12/09/2007, -0/+10the rights of the individual are not to be infringed. If only we could eliminate those rights we just don't like...the world would be a better place...oh wait, that goes against every tenant of classical liberalism and classical conservatism
- ndnspongebob, on 12/09/2007, -5/+15this isnt even showing whats goin on worldwide
ron paul's reach is global now - RedMullet, on 12/09/2007, -0/+10People who don't like the government trying to run their lives lose if Kucinich wins.
- Brad324, on 12/09/2007, -4/+14The sad thing is, some people are so ignorant that they believe that Net Neutrality refers to "not ***** up the internet"
Just like how the Patriot act is for Patriots, right? - angrycat, on 12/09/2007, -1/+11If you look closely you can see some groups for Ron Paul are actually in Canada. One thing people are forgetting is that all the internet buzz for Ron Paul isn't necessarily created by people in the US, alot of foreigners want to see Ron win.
- elvisB, on 12/09/2007, -1/+10Ron Paul's message is real, and people with the ability to think critically are behind him. It's the mindless masses of the dumbed down, fast food society that like the cyborg wind-up candidates. They are to naive and shallow to even understand what Paul is talking about, not to mention lazy. That's why there are no real numbers of actual active people behind them, they don't step onto the field to take action. It's OK, we'll take the country back while you obsess over Paris Hilton's escapades and watch reality tv.
- Me1000, on 12/09/2007, -0/+9The Mormon is Romney,
Not that religion has any place in Gov. at all! So basing your vote on a person's religion makes you look very ignorant! - OnGard4Liberty, on 12/09/2007, -2/+11"I am a friend of the Free State Project. Check it out...and if you like it, join and continue the effort!" -- Rep. Ron Paul
