McFlipflop: Olbermann Counts Down 30 McCain Flipflops
pensitoreview.com — The GOP is set to dust off a 2004 campaign tactic and launch a concerted effort to characterize Barack Obama as a flipflopper. On MSNBC ’s “Countdown” last week, in anticipation of this new line of attack, Keith Olbermann went looking for instances in which John McCain reversed positions and came up with no less than 30 egregious examples.

- nagem277, on 07/07/2008, -1/+1I'm going to be mistress of the obvious here, but i think all politicians do this to some extent; not that i like to support McCain or back him up. It's all about the popular opinion at the time and trying (however you can) to get the most votes. It takes the smart people in society to weigh out the BS from the truth. =)
- TrueBuckeye, on 07/07/2008, -1/+1I agree.
Rule number one: politicians lie. Don't be shocked by it when it happens. McCain lies. So does Obama. They want to get elected more than anything else.

- kaynee, on 07/07/2008, -2/+2Thank you, Keith! At least somebody in the media gets it and can tell it like it is. It' s amazing how the rest of them just play right into the Republicans hands.
- PolishLogic, on 07/07/2008, -1/+4Yet, not a bad word about Obama was uttered (Patriot Act extension, telecom immunity, anyone...Bueller...Fry). Way to keep up that great service you provide when it comes to balanced reporting, Keith.
I'll eagerly await your take on the Sabathia trade to the Brewers, Mr. Sportscaster. You're better suited for that type of stuff. - vietnam2nd, on 07/08/2008, -0/+0i seen that show were he did McCain's flip flops. both are trying to move to the center were most of the elector are. i was for Hillary Clinton because she was in the center. Obauma moving to the center makes it a little easier to vote for him. the republicans hate the truth when someone tells it about them than attack the messenger. like one as done in your replied attacked Keith Olbermann. i am an independent democrat i vote for the person and not the party. the republican party has me so mad i hope that party dies and a third party becomes are second party. we need different points of view. i have voted for many republicans in my life as a democrat but i can not do that anymore. i don't vote a straight ticket i was taught by my parents only a damn fool does that. my dad was a democrat and my mom was a republican.
