- WTF69, on 07/16/2008, -5/+171How the ***** can people cheer when Bush says he was a C student.
Joke:
John McCain is so old that when he went to school during the Coolidge administration there was no GPA.
(Now laugh i tell you) - waterboy4453, on 07/16/2008, -6/+161This offends my comedic senses more than it does my patriotic ones. How the ***** can Bush say the same joke that many times? He may have a "sense of humor," but he reminds me of "that one friend" we all have who takes one of his rare, successful jokes and runs it into the ground until it's no longer funny.
- jackwaters, on 07/16/2008, -5/+113How can he pass his poor performance in school as a joke....
- inactive, on 07/17/2008, -2/+85Im getting lesbian videos recommended in the side bar. Why?
- lamiaconfitor, on 07/17/2008, -1/+69Because it helps you forget.
- charm803, on 07/17/2008, -4/+56Well, if having a 'C' student run the country for the past 7 1/2 years doesn't scare you, I think having a 5th from the bottom up President will have you sh!tting bricks in no time!
- snizzledan, on 07/16/2008, -6/+56Ye should have the best and brightest leading the country not the ones that could barely pass. I am not trying to encourage some elitist system but just asking America to have a little bit more sense when picking President, look at Gore, ye practically threw him away and he goes off and get justly awarded a Nobel Prize. Like come on. Why Why Bush.
- pintomp3, on 07/17/2008, -0/+40"so this offends you as a jewish person?"
"no, this offends me as a comedian" - floridiot2, on 07/17/2008, -0/+39Must have been something to do with the tag "bush"
- OutsideSupply, on 07/17/2008, -7/+41So many people miss the issues: They all are spending money when our country is broke. They all are lying. We are broke, broke, broke.
Stop spending money. Be smart enough to balance the budget. it is not just the president. Every elected official in goverment!
Lets be straight. - lamiaconfitor, on 07/17/2008, -10/+41Why the hell are Republicans proud of being idiots? Rush says the same type of *****.
- motivatedmama, on 07/17/2008, -3/+32And the 'average voter' may well have his way again if we don't step up. I love to anticipate the first McCain/Obama debate till last night when I was warned to be careful what I wish for.
Apparently we have a demographic who are offended or threatened by any overt display of intelligence. How bizarre and saddening. Still, if we come out and vote and volunteer this year we can put quality first. God help us otherwise. - jedreport, on 07/16/2008, -6/+30Gore won though! He won florida, he won the country, and the thugs stole it.
- charm803, on 07/17/2008, -0/+20With that logic-
then you were one of the few that must have voted John Kerry the second time around, right?
Military and experience....vs Bush. - lamiaconfitor, on 07/17/2008, -0/+20Its not a joke, he is proud of it.
- charm803, on 07/17/2008, -0/+18The thing is, comedians can get away with it because that's what they are paid to do.
Bush is paid to run the country...just not into the ground like his jokes. - Cuchanu, on 07/16/2008, -1/+17Well said. Although to his credit I had heard him say that once before and thought it was kind of funny. But what about the guys who heard it 20 times and still had to fake a laugh?
- xt0xicx, on 07/17/2008, -1/+17"Fool me once shame on.. shame on you... eh.. um.. a fooled man can't get fooled again."
- TheWorm, on 07/17/2008, -7/+20Good god, that was painful. Not only is he a *****, but he's an arrogant one.
- Rojer64, on 07/17/2008, -0/+13that comes with being a C sudent. Don't worry.
- pintomp3, on 07/17/2008, -2/+15depends, did the guy get into MIT on his own merits or because his father was an admiral?
- inactive, on 07/17/2008, -1/+13I OBJECT TO THIS !
Representing this traitor as "funny" makes him looks harmless and may allow him to use a "diminished capacity" plea in the imminent war crime proceedings. - oep4, on 07/17/2008, -2/+14False: FTA: "Second, Einstein definitely did not fail at high school... At the age of 7, he started school in Munich. By the age of 12 he was studying calculus. Now this was very advanced, because the students would normally study calculus when they were 15 years old. "
Reason that myth is around:
"A grading of "6", which had previously been the lowest mark, was now the highest mark. And so, a grading of "1", which had been the highest mark, was now the lowest mark.
And so, anybody looking up Einstein's grades would see that he had scored lots of grades around "1" - which under the new marking scheme, meant a "fail"."
SOURCE: http://www.abc.net.au/science/k2/moments/s1115185. ... - rabitguy, on 07/17/2008, -1/+12Again, you are an idiot. The recount never happened because a conservative Supreme Court shut it down. Seriously, did you even go to school?
- pintomp3, on 07/17/2008, -0/+11why not? mccain doesn't seem to be ashed of graduating 5 from the bottom of almost 900 students. it's almost like a badge of honor. seems like having a hundred million dollars and not knowing the price of gasoline doesn't make you an elitist, being smart does.
- NRay7882, on 07/17/2008, -0/+10More importantly, how are lesbians "related videos" to McCain? Don't be a dick and say "tags".
- nick1971, on 07/17/2008, -0/+10Few have a speach writing team helping them out.
- pintomp3, on 07/17/2008, -0/+10how much experience did lincoln have in the senate?
- rromansanturio, on 07/17/2008, -2/+11Dugg 4 the lesbian recommendation...
- faatbuddha, on 07/17/2008, -1/+10I don't get it... in the whole 8 minutes he doesn't say anything about how Obama is like Hitler except that they're both charismatic and have large audiences.
Uhh... ***** Miley Cyrus fits the bill as well then, no?
Miley Cyrus is Hitler! - Kanidia, on 07/17/2008, -3/+11It's true, you just need a rich/president daddy.
- 3toe, on 07/17/2008, -4/+12Bush needs some new jokes.
- calebian, on 07/17/2008, -3/+11I feel like crying
- pintomp3, on 07/17/2008, -1/+9thanks again diebold.
- charm803, on 07/17/2008, -2/+10Well, you sure write like a C student.
Unfortunately, you miss the point in that Bush being a C student and ruining the country might have something to do with it.
Personally, I don't care if you are a C student or not, you don't pay my bills or run my life. When you do, then I'll worry.
For now, you're just another digger. - mantzdapantz, on 07/17/2008, -2/+10that isn't true. Einstein was at the top of his class. That myth was made to motivate kids in school.
- chevymanusa, on 07/17/2008, -0/+7Seeing that bush could define the Doctor as "Enemy Combatant" and send him away indefinitely. And the fact that congress is more concerned with keeping face then impeaching him. I would have to lean towards Bush having the power.
Sad ain't it a "C" student having that much power over such a great (or once was) country. - rabitguy, on 07/17/2008, -3/+10Actually, that isn't true. But then, you wouldn't know the difference. Idiot.
- Enigmocracy, on 07/17/2008, -0/+6It's not the politicians' fault, it's the people's fault.
"This guy wants to raise taxes?!? No way am I voting for him!"
When so many voters have that attitude, politicians are forced to go along with it. It's simple job security. - jedreport, on 07/17/2008, -0/+6magna cum laude at harvard law school
- noobifiggah, on 07/17/2008, -0/+6@ patpl22391,
Unfortunately, it seems you don't understand the difference between Lincoln suspending the writ of Habeas Corpus and Bush suspending suspects' rights. Lincoln's decision was based on the constitutional exception to protect the country at its most basic level. I won't detail it for you as you surely can use the search bar, but the country was in danger of falling apart had he not suspended the writ to imprison ONE person. You don't think imprisoning anyone and everyone suspected of terrorism (mostly overseas, but not entirely) is slightly more severe than Lincoln's actions?
Do the United States and especially the Founding Fathers a favor and don't ever compare Bush to Lincoln again... - duckley, on 07/17/2008, -0/+6It's because the Republican Heartland says:
One of us, one of us, one of us... - floridiot2, on 07/17/2008, -0/+6you know you can get a good look at a t-bone by sticking your head up a butcher's ass, but wouldn't you rather take his word for it?
- charm803, on 07/17/2008, -1/+7@ papl22391-
Yeah, and look at the mess that got us into.
He was only "experienced" by default.
Just like he got into school. Old Money, is what they call it. His whole family is on the Register, they are of privilge and power. Not to mention that the Bush family is heavily vested in the weapons defense industry.
Bush is not PRESIDENT material and neither is McCain.
I have respect for the man, though, because he did serve the country and his children are also serving. I won't deny him that, but his plans for the future of the country are not what we need. - pintomp3, on 07/17/2008, -0/+5he would have declared war on falafel king and invaded it. then he would build a wall between mcdonalds and taco bell.
- charm803, on 07/17/2008, -1/+6Don't insult the yardsticks.....
- bpoteat, on 07/17/2008, -0/+5Unintelligent people want a person like them representing them. "Hey, he's a normal guy just like us. Who do you smart people think you are, anyway?"
- blackolive, on 07/17/2008, -0/+5It's a half truth:
"Einstein failed early school entrance exam because of language and culture sections, while excelling at sciences-proof that traditional school tests don't always show how you'll do in life!"
-- http://worldwidelearn.com/great-thinkers/albert-ei ...
"[He] often skipped class to study independently."
-- http://worldwidelearn.com/great-thinkers/albert-ei ... - Insomaniac24, on 07/17/2008, -3/+8One time in my life where I'm proud to say I didn't vote. This guys not my fault. World..please don't hate us Americans.
- amadeusdemarzi, on 07/17/2008, -12/+17To be fair, Einstein wasn't a great student either....
But Bush is still an idiot compared by any yardstick... -
