- Cryptocracy, on 08/17/2008, -0/+21awww, po widdo neo-cons can't play nice...... why didn't they take their stupid banner with them?
- jaymzdean, on 06/03/2008, -0/+19When will the McCain supporters figure out that their candidate is a joke and no one takes him seriously? He no longer represents anything traditionally Republican or conservative. I think McCain should just concede defeat to Paul.
- Tess101, on 06/03/2008, -0/+18What a bunch of McCain Losers, too bad that they are playing games with some of the most important issues they have been chosen to work on. I am soooo....disappointed with the McCain people, but I will give some praise for those that did stay and continued the process, and a big thanks to the Ron Paul delegates, and supporters for a job well done. Eventually, WE THE PEOPLE OF THIS REPUBLIC will be heard once again, and our country will follow the Constitution.
- inactive, on 06/03/2008, -0/+17The ignorance and disrespect of our fellow citizens is infuriating!
Get mad people! - SleighBoy, on 06/03/2008, -0/+13Note: While the McCain people left the room we passed the "no recommended" resolution that only congress can declare war and that a formal declaration of war must be issued.
- Vali585, on 06/03/2008, -0/+13What was the purpose in them even attending the convention in the first place? Lazy people. Our Founding Fathers did not have revised Robert's Rules of Order to manage things at the first few conventions of the States. They managed to debate and I'm sure at times to fight it out. So, it may take some time, if you had better things to do you should have stayed home. Obviously the current voting process is so beyond corrupt, I propose we settle things with a good old fashioned "Shin-Kicking Contest" A sport that has been around since the 1400's. May the best shin-kicker win!!!
- gypsi, on 06/03/2008, -0/+13god, when did republicans become such whiny, pouty, children?
- conza88, on 06/04/2008, -0/+12Hahahahaha!!!! McCain people CUT & RUN.
- sandsafari, on 06/03/2008, -0/+12Reminescent of Nevada, except our quorum count left us short. Those who walk away from their duty should feel shame and, frankly, I'm embarrassed for their lack of backbone. Are the delegates the voters, or do they just take order from the RNC and mindlessly take orders from them? Let's vow "never again," and behave as adults.
- john2kdiggs, on 06/04/2008, -0/+7There should be a rule that those who walk out and leave a not permitted back in to the convention.
- MrTito, on 06/04/2008, -0/+6At first I wondered what the hell I was watching. That was pretty interesting.
"Well they're not deadly weapons." No sir, not deadly. But they are weapons and we know how to use them. - MrTito, on 06/04/2008, -0/+3Nah, not a criticism of him, he defended the right of the people with cameras. My bad. Just a point about the "camera everywhere" youtube/flickr age we live in. Photography is a hobby of mine and I just believe that my camera is my weapon. I could go on into the whole police state fear ideas of the government putting cameras everywhere, but it's not totally as scary as the idea if they tried to take cameras away from the people or infringe on those rights. Not sure if that logic is concise, but that's what my quip was about. The ability to photograph, video, or otherwise record an injustice is a staple of our freedom now.
- SleighBoy, on 06/04/2008, -0/+2I heard that security was telling people to stop filming, which was the height of stupidity since the entire thing was being broadcast live on TVW. It's always nice to see people use cameras as weapons, nothing makes one more self-aware than when the camera is pointed in their direction. Insecure people in positions of authority react the worst to the thought that their insecurity manifested will show up on YouTube.
- BeforeSputnik, on 06/04/2008, -0/+2I've never seen a studder show up in typing before.
- SleighBoy, on 06/04/2008, -0/+2Not sure if you comment implied the chairman was in on it or not, but In all fairness, the elected chairman Kirby Wilbur was a great chairman. He was getting pretty fed up with dilatory actions and good old fashioned stupidity on the part of anyone. Whenever the same McCain supporter would come to the mic to say something that he'd said a dozen times already he'd roll his eyes at it, knowing the ***** it was. In this clip it seems like he is off-the-handle, but by this point he had put up with a lot of crap and I think he was disgusted at the walkout, and many repeated acts of just not paying attention.
- MrTito, on 06/04/2008, -0/+1Yeah, I'm not really sure what the ***** happened there.
- inactive, on 06/04/2008, -1/+2Your founding fathers didn't fight, they weren't pussies. They dueled.
They were ready to fight to the death and die for their ideas. Back then people still had pride.
http://www.law.gwu.edu/Burns/rarebooks/exhibits/du ... - whoreable, on 06/04/2008, -2/+3***** McCAIN SUCKS!!!!
- MrTito, on 06/04/2008, -1/+1I'll I'll Roshambo you for it. you for it.
- therealside, on 06/04/2008, -7/+1I made a song for the Ron Paul delegates, called Outlaw. It's kind of a play on words in the way that Republican voters are vilified for following the rules of their party. This is one of the weirdest things ever! Check out The Realside on Myspace or at Delvin Shade Music. Long live the Revolution!
