- BabushkaBlue, on 05/18/2008, -26/+769Wow. He can't keep his rhetoric straight, can he? This was pitiful.
- sharpfork, on 05/18/2008, -19/+527The reason he contradicts himself so often these days is that fact that he is no longer following his principles.
After the loss of a 3rd special election last week, the GOP has shown they are hoping to hitch their wagon to the horse of McCain of 2000 to reinvent the GOP brand. The problem is that they forced McCain sell out and become McSame or McBush to get the nomination. All the GOP has to offer in 2008 is more of the same with a smoke screen of the candidate formally known as Jonh McCain the Maverick.
The McCain of 2000 no longer exists. The McCain of 2000 deserved the title Maverick. He was an independent minded, USA over GOP Republican who would have been a formidable opponent for Obama. The McCain of 2000 was the first national candidate to recieved the Karl Rove Special up the tail pipe in the primaries against bush and that has negatively effected the way he is running in 2008.
In 2008, he has sold his soul to the GOP over USA wing of the Republican party and has given up his free thinking, honorable identity in the process. I donated to his campaign in 2000 but will never vote for the sell out he has become in 2008. - bluevillage, on 05/18/2008, -30/+436McCain's an incredibly weak candidate. He has no chance against Obama. It's not even a matter of age, folks, so much as it is his complete lack of real intelligence and consistency. He's in a haze.
- shardayyy, on 05/18/2008, -22/+396Alzheimer's might be his defense... Straight talk.....
- ReidFleming, on 05/18/2008, -24/+358They can swift-boat Obama all they want during the general election but McCain's own words will destroy his candidacy. He will also likely drag down many of the GOP candidates for the house and senate as well. Unless there are shenanigans, this will be a walk.
- zephyr42, on 05/18/2008, -24/+301The internets will destroy McCain.
- cj485, on 05/18/2008, -8/+218"of course those tax cuts need to remain permanent"
"i voted againt the tax cuts"
"i voted to extend them"
"i voted againt the tax cuts"
"i have always been for tax cuts"
i can has contradiction? - Fungus53, on 05/18/2008, -17/+191The world will live in fear if McCain is elected - The fear of him falling asleep on the 'red button'.
- inactive, on 05/18/2008, -11/+163I was talking to my grandma the other day and the only reason she wont vote for obama is b/c she thinks he's a muslim and she's only gonna vote for a christian. Im not saying anything but i bet that is why McCain is still popular even though he's a flopper.
- jedisushi, on 05/18/2008, -9/+141McCain is old and scary. Senile and psychotic. And not very intelligent. Dugg for great justice.
- deltron, on 05/18/2008, -18/+145Never realized he was that bad of a flip-flopper.. jeeze.
- Garlik, on 05/18/2008, -7/+131If the majority of people who support the Republican party actually pay attention to what their candidates are saying, they'd have no idea what they're actually voting for. Sadly, it seems that they think "Republican=Conservative=good values" and nothing else matters
- radiantstorm, on 05/18/2008, -9/+132He'll obviously say whatever it takes to win votes. Prick.
- thewump, on 05/18/2008, -54/+170Sadly it doesn't matter. History is full of stupid old white guys getting elected.
- Maver1c, on 05/18/2008, -4/+109I hope you are right, but sadly as we have observed over the past 8 years, intelligence and consistency doesn't seem to be very important to many americans..
- inijames, on 05/18/2008, -9/+106Bloody hell - you Americans sure get em, don't you.
- IrishJoe, on 05/18/2008, -5/+84Don't count it a walk so far. Not with the Corporate Mainstream Media behind him and most Americans getting ALL their news from television. This will still be a battle to inform the public. Psssst. Do something!
- inactive, on 05/18/2008, -1/+76It's getting wacky, man. McCain is working hard to make himself seem more like Bush. Meanwhile, the Republican Party is trying to distance itself from Bush by saying that they're about change, while at the same time running with McCain. How very confusing.
- Sedarati, on 05/18/2008, -106/+179Obama FTW
- VinnieDaMac, on 05/18/2008, -15/+79I'd rather have Clinton than McCain. McCain seems clueless on just about everything.
- mark076h, on 05/18/2008, -6/+62Baghdad? how about you go a few miles to the west in the anbar province and take a stroll down the streets of Fallujah or Kharma
- inactive, on 05/18/2008, -4/+58is this guy senile or just a hack?
- ny2germany, on 05/18/2008, -16/+69This is must see!!!!
- cfrog7, on 05/18/2008, -6/+59Hopefully they will release cell phone projectors (http://www.engadget.com/2008/05/14/3m-mini-project ...
we need to start playing these youtube clips in public places, for people who spend all their time in front of MSM, so they realize who McCain really is, before its too late. - cg4et, on 05/18/2008, -33/+84One senior moment after another. It almost makes me feel sorry for the old guy.
- sleepwalkers, on 05/18/2008, -3/+51Don't count on it. Many voters also lack real intelligence.
Also, I see many people supporting McCain who don't bother informing themselves and think that he's still the far more sane candidate he was during the 2000 presidential race.
Unfortunately, with how many voters (regardless of party) still believe so much lame misinformation (like Obama being a Muslim) about the candidates, you absolutely *cannot* count on it being a walk. - msbeckman, on 05/18/2008, -1/+48I have heard this far too often. It is sad that big media has convinced so many people of it. It is also sad though that people buy into it anymore.
- kilomang, on 05/18/2008, -13/+59a politician lying? you don't say...
- badjoke, on 05/18/2008, -9/+54What a puppet.
- zspeed78, on 05/18/2008, -20/+64A nightmare of 1000 youtube views?
- fr3ddie, on 05/18/2008, -13/+54Do we blame Mccain for being stupid? or blame the stupid republicans who voted for him?
- DeskFlyer, on 05/18/2008, -4/+40Kind of like how the internets will propel Ron Paul into the White House? ;)
Seriously, this video is awesome. - jebsilver, on 05/18/2008, -1/+36Unless? I think you can count on shenanigans.
- fxu1989, on 05/18/2008, -3/+38Have you tried opening her eyes ?
I hear a lot of people saying their families vote this way because of this and that and color skin and religion blah blah....
Convince her, talk to her. - wacomwacoff, on 05/18/2008, -1/+36I've heard that from lots of people over 60. They say "I'll never vote for a woman, and Obama's a half-black muslim, so I guess I have to vote McCain."
It's really disturbing. - XDeviantDoomX, on 05/18/2008, -8/+42My god, its Bush II
- LordBoreal51, on 05/18/2008, -1/+35I'd say your caps lock key was stuck, but it appears that your space bar is also jammed and your "random punctuation generator" is malfunctioning.
- andrew522, on 05/18/2008, -4/+37yes. we get them up the ass without vasoline, saying the terr'ists win if we don't tap every single ***** phone line of every nursing home, hospital, family, and minority.
- u8eR, on 05/18/2008, -38/+709/11 truthers are annoying *****.
- johnsonjoeb, on 05/18/2008, -8/+39i guess being a criminal defense attorney representing the poor and disenfranchised accounts for jack ***** huh? nice rhetoric benson...i printed it out and wiped my ass with it. it's better than charmin.
- totorototoro, on 05/18/2008, -7/+38McCain is one of those guys who is just better playing the guy in second place-running the dark-horse maverick campaign. Being the presumptive favorite/only Republican candidate just reveals his weaknesses more clearly.
- piradians, on 05/18/2008, -2/+30Were all these "he might be a Muslim" people in a coma during the Reverend Wright kerfuffle? Talk about selective ignorance.
- solidcube, on 05/18/2008, -3/+31There will be shenanigans.
- camiloteram, on 05/18/2008, -11/+38Your grandma is an ignorant *****.
- inactive, on 05/18/2008, -3/+30dugg for 3 seconds of ron paul.
- archiesteel, on 05/18/2008, -6/+33"He’s done nothing, he has a wafer-thin legislative record"
Are you consciously lying, or just misinformed?

Idiot. - DeadPanDan, on 05/18/2008, -1/+27Those aren't flip flops. Those are lies.
Changing your mind on an issue is sometimes justifiable.
Lying on the other hand...
When I first heard of Youtube it sounded like a dumb idea. I've changed my mind because of videos like this. - generalalcazar, on 05/18/2008, -0/+25Yeah - just like GW's words caught up with him. Face it - a country that is able to elect George W. Bush TWICE is capable of any kind of folly.
