- ExplosivesWTC, on 02/08/2008, -5/+38McCain is a traitor and a fake conservative and I hope Ron Paul can get the nomination.
- dnafrequency, on 02/08/2008, -2/+30McCain is an absolute nut job! That man is definitely not in his right mind. And to state we are going to be in war for a hundred years! What kind of sick thinking is that? He has PTSD alright and be sure to take his gun away from him. He is absolutely scary and so is that beast Hitlery. Thank you very much, Swift Boat Veterans group.
- TheLastProphet, on 02/08/2008, -1/+27McCain was the one who backstabbed America on the Military Commission Act - which gave Bush MORE power.
He's been a traitor, He is a traitor, He will be a traitor.
He knows this info is going to come out. He's got to be stupid or brainwashed. - kayaker712, on 02/08/2008, -3/+27In 2000, it looked like little Bush vs. Gore might very well be the worst presidential election ever conceived. In 2004, I thought Bush vs. Kerry was the worst "choice" ever. And now here we are in 2008, and the prospect of Hillary Clinton vs. John McCain exceeds my capacity to express in the English language.
I used to hear people tell they vote for this or that idiot not because they liked them but because they were the lesser of the two evils. This is what that attitude leads to; sooner or later there is no lesser to choose. - XPIOLT, on 02/08/2008, -3/+27The firemen took down Ghouliani, the vets will topple McCain and Ron Paul will end the Bush and Clinton dynasty.
- ampersand2001, on 02/08/2008, -1/+24it still amazes me that in a country like america, we could only come up with these choices. give me a ***** break.
- Rittmeister, on 02/08/2008, -1/+23McCain is a nutcase. Everybody knows that the Democrats would win 100% if he gets the nomination!
- DigbyOdell, on 02/08/2008, -2/+23Hooay for the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth group, someone needs to nail this NWO stooge to the barn door & they have the knowledge & experience to do it.
With "heroes" like McCain who needs enemies?
Ron Paul is America's hope. - Look4Truth, on 02/08/2008, -2/+23"Bomb, bomb, bomb...bomb, bomb Iran!" - John McInsane
- alice104, on 02/08/2008, -3/+22Oh, Paul "gets" it... he just doesn't buy the propaganda as you obviously do. This "history-changing war" against third world countries with no army, navy or air force... no nukes... and no true ability to invade or attack us... it's a ruse, my friend.
Maybe you advocate spending 50% of our tax dollars on this fraud and putting future generations of Americans in overwhelming debt, but I don't.
By the way, could you please define "captured terrorists" for us? Many of the Iraqi cab drivers who've been kidnapped, detained and waterboarded at Gitmo would like to know, too.
But you wouldn't know about that, because you've been watching Season 6 of "24" on DVD. - kayaker712, on 02/08/2008, -1/+14Unless you are there are have access to the secret areas yu have no idea who is at Gitmo.
- kayaker712, on 02/08/2008, -3/+15"history changing" conflict my ass. It's all crap.
The rubes are being manipulated yet again.
Remember the "justification" for the Viet Nam war?
The Domino Theory. Those rotten commies are after us. First Saigon, then Bangkok, then Manila, Tokyo, Honolulu and the next thing you know Ho Chi Minh will be shopping on Rodeo Drive. Yeah "history changing" right.
Even the McCainiac admits it was all a lie just not in so many words. In one debate with he even said the the Commies did not want to follow us home only create their own "workers paradise". I'm sure that makes the families of the 60,000 GI's killed and 1 million maimed feel better about their sacrifice. - Gene1200, on 02/08/2008, -1/+13More of the Bush Legacy...which only grows by tacking on a certified Manchurian Candidate.
- lvp1138, on 02/08/2008, -1/+9McCain was being pushed by the media... and what happens to those pushed by the media? They fizzle. Look at Rudy. Huckabee's push before and after Iowa, now has fizzled. The next media darling was McCain. He too will fizzle.
And yes, the democrats would win if McCain is the Republican nominee. They'll bring out the POW scandal, his lack of conservative values (cheating on his wife, etc), his pro-war attitude, his flip flopping throughout his career, pro-amnesty, etc, etc. The list can go for long...
Ron Paul supporter all the way! - extratwice, on 02/08/2008, -2/+10@ 140Suffolk
You're a kook. - kayaker712, on 02/08/2008, -1/+7Yes you are clear. Mass murder is not something a presidential candidate needs to be joking about.
What would your reaction be if Vladimir Putin sang the same song on stage and substituted "New York" for "Iran". Or maybe you want to hear Hu Jintao and the entire Chinese ruling body roll into a nice refrain of "I left my fallout in San Francisco".
I take it you would not think that quite so funny.
Bringing up the the newsletter thing is what you guys all do when you have no good answer, surely you can do better than that. Try harder. - kayaker712, on 02/08/2008, -4/+10His points on Guantanamo and torture are commendable.
However his dancing around singing "Bomb, bomb Iran" to the tune of the Beach Boys in my opinion make him unfit for responsible office. - kayaker712, on 02/08/2008, -2/+8Oh yea there is a reliable source, then what was the reason for his "workers paradise" comment and his claim that the Vietnamese didn't want to follow us home. Did he forget?
- kayaker712, on 02/08/2008, -1/+6No he wasn't wrong when he said it he just said it 40 years and 1 million dead bodies too late.
The point obviously was lost on you. I'm disappointed.
If he is rigth now he was wrong in the past, not a confidence building scenario for the future. - kayaker712, on 02/08/2008, -1/+6I had a hard time verifying the notes in the Prankster chapter.
Checking the edit history of Sourcewatch was quite fascinating, you ought to try it with Wiki scanner.
"Salon" was under "opinion" and I had no idea you were a Conason fan and it's mainly about Kerry, a man whose record I defended. Besides there are no factual references in that piece.
Calling someone a "professional smear artist" is just dodging the issues. Kill the messenger and all that. Try finding a reference that actually disputes his claims. - PetersburgPanic, on 02/08/2008, -1/+6The One Hundred Years War is coming our way.
McCain... is this man insane? - kayaker712, on 02/08/2008, -1/+6Not true. McCain's people claimed that but eyewitnesses disputed their story. They just wanted him to shut up. Restraining orders are an effective weapon when no other avenues are available like telling the truth.
- lvp1138, on 02/08/2008, -1/+5We are not in a war with Islam! Get your facts straight. Learn about the Islamic religion before you make such a stupid and offending comment.
- Kent4jmj, on 02/09/2008, -1/+4" This "history-changing war" against third world countries with no army, navy or air force... no nukes... and no true ability to invade or attack us... it's a ruse, my friend"
Very nicely put!!! - Erich100, on 02/09/2008, -1/+3We are in a war about oil and world domination. Clinton's wars tie right in with the Bush wars and They are all about oil. The War on Terror is the war on American freedoms because they interfere with corporate global interests. Your a neocon nut.
- HewhoKicksBear, on 02/10/2008, -0/+2Folks,
I hope I'm speaking to the chior but...
We need to be giving to Ron Paul till it HURTS. Think of the horror of waiking up Nov 8th to McCain or Hillery or Omama! That is what will happen if each and every one of us does not give money and time to Ron Paul.
Are you puting the message on as many sites as possible? Are you writing on every Fiat piece of Guvment "money" "Google Ron Paul"? Are you active in a meet-up? Not just a member but posting info and holding activities.
How many signs did you plant? Are you maintining the signs? The Blimp is in the hanger. Why? Have you given to the 14th dist race? How about to ronpaul2008?
Things like this do not just happen. It takes treasure blood and toil!!

For Liberty!! - illeagalhunter, on 02/09/2008, -1/+2This man will make Chaney look like Gandhi
- Creampuff, on 02/09/2008, -0/+1Ya-hooooooo.... Row... row... row your boat!!! Let's get with it, like yesterday. Move over John Kerry, make room for your partner in crimes. Forgive me Lord, I couldn't resist that outburst. John is two oars short.
- inactive, on 02/10/2008, -0/+1I thought it was well established earlier this week that jcm would ask for Chertoff's autograph if DHS goosetsteppers killed his whole family.
- elvisB, on 02/12/2008, -0/+1***** John McAmnesty and his "100 years of war". We need to invade nation after nation supposedly because some guys in a cave undermined the world's most sophisticated air defense apparatus, meanwhile, the borders are wide open! WTF America!? Figure it out already.
- witzkadr, on 02/12/2008, -0/+0It also turns out that John Insane was not even born in the U.S. He was born in Panama and may be ineligible to even hold the office of President. I can't understand why anybody is voting for him when about 75% or more of the country wants are soldiers home and he is advocating a 100 year war with Iraq and is going to allow Iran to be attacked, if Bush doesn't do it first. All of this is going on without Congress ever voting for a Declaration of War, totally UN Constitutional. Why are we fighting a war supposedly to bring Democracy to Iraq when our government is slowly taking our rights away?
- 140Suffolk, on 02/09/2008, -2/+1Muslims think we are in a war with them.
Here are some of the countries where, in the past six years Muslims have been killing people in the name of their religion: USA, Britain, France, Holland, Spain, Algeria Israel, Jordan Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Kosovo....
Maybe it's time we admit it. Muslims have a religious imperative to take over the world. - inactive, on 02/08/2008, -10/+7Actually, in 1973 McCain wrote in US News that Vietnamese officers openly talked to him about that Domino Theory. They wanted to "free" South Vietnam, then Cambodia, then Laos, then Thailand. They wanted to "liberate" all of Southeast Asia.
- inactive, on 02/08/2008, -11/+5Was he wrong for saying that the Vietnamese didn't want to follow us home? And I fail to see anything wrong with McCain for saying "they wanted to build a worker's paradise and now they have a capitalist paradise".
- BohicaTwentyTwo, on 02/08/2008, -10/+4There are no Iraqis at Gitmo, unless they were captured in Afghanistan, which would be very interesting.
- inactive, on 02/08/2008, -11/+3Just so I am clear: A bad joke, in poor taste for sure, makes him unfit, but a newsletter full of bigotry with your name on it, put out for 20 years, is just fine?
- inactive, on 02/08/2008, -13/+5You are delusional.
- inactive, on 02/08/2008, -15/+5Maybe as someone who has been through some of the worst kinds of torture and who lived with men who had been through even much worse torture than he endured, McCain has something of a point regarding torture. I agree that we can't allow our government to appease or to ignore these Islamic extremists, which is why I might end up supporting McCain. I have disagreed with McCain on ANWR, Guantanamo, tax cuts, and gun rights. I can see his point on Guantanamo, and I agree with McCain on many issues like federal spending and the line-item veto, school choice, foreign policy, trade, and Social Security.
- inactive, on 02/08/2008, -16/+6I thought that it was established yesterday that this Ted Sampley guy is a professional smear artist

http://dir.salon.com/story/opinion/conason/2004/02 ...
I think that Bush is out of the race and many of his campaign workers are now in McCain's camp that it's safe to say that Sampley probably wasn't working for Bush. - BohicaTwentyTwo, on 02/08/2008, -18/+7John Mcain has a restraining order against Ted Sampley because Sampley once attacked one of his aides outside his office. The man is a certifiable nutjob, which is probably why Alex Jones has such a shine for him.
- 140Suffolk, on 02/08/2008, -36/+4Ron Paul doesn't get the most important issue of our era.
We are in the early stages of a history-changing war with Islam. We don't want it. But there it is.
McCain may get it. But closing Gitmo and not using rough methods to interrogate captured terrorists are certainly not ways to win the conflict.
