- alanhlake, on 04/26/2008, -1/+13I have done things for the Republican Party (like support some of their candidates), but the Republican Party has done nothing for me, but stab my values in the back after they got my vote. Holly, what does the Republican Party do for you that the Constitution Party does not? Provide electability? Let true social (and economic) conservatives (lovers of the Constitution) stand with their principles and see who's electable!
- onthewriteside, on 04/26/2008, -3/+11I notice people are digging down my Perot comment so let me explain...When I voted for Perot, I was young and it was way b/f I got seriously involved in politics or the party. I was a business major at the time and Perot made a lot of sense to me on the business end and he ended up being right about many things. As for my Hillary comment its b/c essentially Hillary will most likely do absolutely do nothing if she is elected. When push comes to shove I don't know WHAT I'm going to do. This whole election just really stinks and we have libtard voters on both sides of the aisle to thank.
- caccia, on 04/26/2008, -1/+8From the article..."Alan Keyes is now running for president on the Constitution Party ticket."
Now there's someone worthy of a vote! He's not a sell-out and won't compromise his principles for the sake of a "Party". I like that :) - onthewriteside, on 04/26/2008, -2/+8Argentian it's looking like to me a lot of voters may be thinking the same thing we are. A Hillary nomination could spell trouble for McCain and I'm wondering if anyone is seeing that besides me. But I still don't want Obama to win the nomination b/c if he does there's always that chance he will actually get elected. I don't like Hillary at all. Some of her ideas and crap make me scream and throw things at the tv screen. But when push comes to shove she will most likely be all talk and no action plus she's not quite as flaming liberal as Obama. What I worry most about with her getting elected though is if she has the chance to nominate a Supreme Court Justice, God help us all.
- caccia, on 04/26/2008, -1/+7I know...I watched the machine working him over. I also watched alleged Republican and even conservatives chewing him up. He catches hits because he doesn't go with the wind. He stands behind his principles. I can't do anything but respect that. There HAS to be a techtonic shift in our political system, lest we fall as a nation IMHO.
- hilikus34, on 04/26/2008, -1/+7I've been a fan of his for quite some time. It's sad that the Republican party never recognized his potential (they didn't even want him to participate in the debates).
- Nosocialism, on 04/26/2008, -0/+5Either McCain is dumb as a stump, or he's a Brilliant and Shrewed SchlickMeister. Either:
A: He really believes that this isn't an issue (Obama's Anti-America Associates) and wants to just focus on the "Issues".
-or-
B. He knew that by coming out against this ad, it would be shown EVERYWHERE and on every platform absolutely for free, Completely Damaging, demoralizing and radicalizing Obama and his camp, without having to spend a dime.
I'm hoping it's B. I don't want to believe that a man I'm supporting, is that dumb. - onthewriteside, on 04/26/2008, -5/+10I haven't made up my mind what I'm going to do yet Alan. I really like Keyes but I really DO NOT like Obama-he's flat out evil. Odds are this is what I'm going to do. If Obama wins I might vote McCain. If Hillary wins even though I don't like her I most likely will vote for Keyes. You are talking to a Republican who casted her first presidential vote (due to age -I missed being 18 by a couple of months on the prior election) for Perot. I voted for Perot and I ended up with Bill. That's why I'm weary about crossing over even for a great candidate.
- vault, on 04/26/2008, -3/+8A McCain administration would have lower taxes than a Hitlery administration. Either way, I'll vote for McCain. No, he's not my first choice and he's far from ideal, I'm actually not even crazy about him as a person...but I'm not going to help either Hitlery/Obama get elected with a third party vote.
- Argentian, on 04/26/2008, -0/+5Yes, the Court is the most problematic. There is enough self-destruction in her personality that might make it hard for her to win a second round as President, if she hasn't established a brownshirt-style, authoritarian group in all power-structures by the end of the first year. Since she isnt loved by the Dems as much as Billy, she may not get that blind obeisance he had, and might help limit her effectiveness. I can only hope and pray for that.
Still, voting for McCain in would make me want to cut off the hand that did it as I exited the polls. - Argentian, on 04/26/2008, -3/+7I have been an independent for about fifteen years now. I have not been enamoured of any of the general election nominees since Reagan. This year i'm going to find it hard to pull a lever/punch a chad, for McCain or the two Dems. If it's Obama, I'll vote for McCain because he is less of a problem. Like Holly, I'll vote a third party if it's Hillary v. McCain.

To me, it's as clear as crystal. I have enjoyed the slap down sessions on Hussein though :) - hilikus34, on 04/26/2008, -0/+3If only we could get Larry Elders to run in 2012 :-)
- Kent4jmj, on 04/26/2008, -0/+2I understand that Chuck Baldwin is also seeking the Constitution parties nomination as a candidate for the presidency. This may allay the fears of many of us that Keyes is too pro war.
- inactive, on 04/27/2008, -1/+2"Only the Democrats can convince me to vote for McCain."
- obamanation, on 04/26/2008, -3/+3I'm to the point that anybody but Obama sounds good to me!
