- GhostyBoy, on 02/29/2008, -10/+76I can't think of one aspect of 9/11 that couldn't use further investigation.
- LucidOne, on 02/29/2008, -11/+76Hmmmm, very interesting! This needs further investigation.
- bernandoo, on 02/29/2008, -6/+39This article does nothing to substantiate its claims. Other than to point out that mccain and the lobbyist flew on the same plane as saudi royals.
- ksc23, on 02/29/2008, -6/+34As Hopsicker pointed out- the lobbyist also represented Adnan Khashoggi's brother Essam Khashoggi's companies. I am sure the lobby firm had more of a role than procuring favors amidst the halls of congress. Bit too grand of a coincidence that some so-called Christian broadcasting Co -PAX TV would then jettison the Saudi's out after 9/11..........I imagine there was a bit more intimate link between these folks than the lobbyist in the halls of congress co-mingling with their clients. And I am not talking about a sexual tryst between McCain and the Campaign Suicide Blonde (good one Mr. Hopsicker hahaha). But how dirty did they get- doubt the NY Times will get that intimate .....

- felchdonkey, on 02/29/2008, -4/+23Hi, Obama-supporting Democrat here - and I don't buy this at all. Show me any sources, or any other reporting of this anywhere but this little blog I've never heard of before.
Sorry, but "Mad Cow News" just doesn't have the journalistic gravitas that I need to take this at face value.
There's plenty to run against McCain with, without stuff like this. Just go back and play the video of Ron Paul exposing McCain's embarrassing lack of knowledge about economics - or point to his flip-flop on torture - those alone should be enough. Leave rumors alone until they're substantiated. - LiquidIse, on 02/29/2008, -11/+28Link to semi-credible source? or any source for that matter
Buried as Unsubstanciated - inactive, on 02/29/2008, -15/+29I don't support McCain, but this article title is HIGHLY sensational. In reality, the facts are he flew on the plane a couple of times in the past. That's it. He wasn't in any way involved with ferrying these Saudis out of the US.
But hey, if its bashing a candidate that the digg hive-mind doesn't like, it's good for a few hundred diggs, right?
Marked as inaccurate. - clarionhaze, on 02/29/2008, -2/+13Lets see that picture of Obama in traditional Kenyan garments again!
- inactive, on 02/29/2008, -14/+25So, do you have a beeper that goes off every time the words "9/11" are used on digg? Is that why you leave that quip EVERYWHERE?
Pro-tip: No, it was not. - kevinwiz, on 02/29/2008, -7/+17Yes but watch this get marked as inaccurate for whatever reason.
- masterm1nd, on 02/29/2008, -8/+16Very convincing.
- noelsusman, on 02/29/2008, -5/+13As much I sincerely disagree with McCain on nearly everything, this article is incredibly stupid. A no name "newspaper" claims that John McCain happened to ride on a plane that once escorted the Saudi Royal family out of the country during a dangerous time for them. Of course they are going to get out of the US after 9/11, they were in danger.
This a ridiculous article with no sources and a misleading title. Buried for everything. - mirunit, on 02/29/2008, -1/+9So McCain rides on an airplane, goes about his work, Saudis fly on air plane - this is bad? I really do not think all Saudis are bad in the first place, which this article tends to imply. If they feared for their safety in the US after a majority Saudi hijacking squad committed the largest domestic terror attack in the US, then I identify with their urge to leave the country. This is a terribly written article, the initial NYT article linking McCain to Pax was pretty weak to begin with, this is almost stupid - and this is 7 years old. Its amazing how many of you will digg up these ridiculous stories about anybody but Ron Paul and Obama. There should not be selective filtering of only bad news for people you do not like and good news for people you like.
- ksc23, on 02/29/2008, -6/+13It's not tooooo hard to find, from damage control "The Hill".....made back in May of 2004. That doesn't mean much really-many people didn't believe much of what Clarke had to say in this explanation. But don't take my word for it, read more here or read the entire article in the link below:
When Roemer asked Clarke during the commission’s March hearing, “Who gave the final approval, then, to say, ‘Yes, you’re clear to go, it’s all right with the United States government,’” Clarke seemed to suggest it came from the White House.
“I believe after the FBI came back and said it was all right with them, we ran it through the decision process for all these decisions that we were making in those hours, which was the interagency Crisis Management Group on the video conference,” Clarke testified. “I was making or coordinating a lot of the decisions on 9-11 in the days immediately after. And I would love to be able to tell you who did it, who brought this proposal to me, but I don’t know. The two — since you press me, the two possibilities that are most likely are either the Department of State or the White House chief of staff’s office.”
Instead of putting the issue to rest, Clarke’s testimony fueled speculation among Democrats that someone higher up in the administration, perhaps White House Chief of Staff Andy Card, approved the flights.
“It couldn’t have come from Clarke. It should have come from someone further up the chain,” said a Democratic Senate aide who watched Clarke’s testimony.
Clarke’s testimony did not settle the issue for Roemer, either.
“It doesn’t seem that Richard Clarke had enough information to clear it,” Roemer said Monday.
“I just don’t think that the questions are resolved, and we need to dig deeper,” Roemer added. “Clarke sure didn’t seem to say that he was the final decisionmaker. I believe we need to continue to look for some more answers.”

- Look4Truth, on 02/29/2008, -4/+9Gee, I wonder if they might be lying to us about other things on 9/11 too.

- sanman, on 02/29/2008, -8/+11Needs a few word changes, to meet Digg standards:
"McCain Lobbyist's Plane Flew INTO TWIN TOWERS on 9/11"
"McCain Flew Lobbyist's Plane Into Twin Towers on 9/11"
"McCain Lobbied for Saudis to Fly Planes on 9/11"

"McCain Entered Mile High Club With Lobbyist on Saudi Plane"
"The Rein of McCain, Flies Mainly on Saudi Planes" - ChewyBass, on 02/29/2008, -1/+4Hey wait a minute, last I read here on Digg it was Bush's plane that flew the Saudi's out.

- songfire, on 02/29/2008, -1/+4The article ends up being about Abramoff more than McCain in the end. I don't like McCain, but this article is poorly written and at best misleading. If some of the insinuations about Abramoff are true, e.g. ties to the mob, that's certainly noteworthy.
- NewGTGuy, on 02/29/2008, -2/+5I hate McCain, however, a 727 only has a range of about 2140nm and London is over 5000nm away from Vegas...
Where did they stop and refuel? Also, I wasn't aware that 727 were allowed to fly on long passages over water.
Just a few open questions. - ksc23, on 02/29/2008, -0/+3I get a kick out of the critics...just yesterday an article on RAW reporting on documents released on 9/11 showed the FBI lied. *whoah* could that have happened.....
And what they reported was what Mr. Hopsicker wrote about 3 years ago.
Nope you can't believe anything the MSM reports, yet you don't want to believe what MCN/Hopsicker reports and slam him as inaccurate. Geez. His videos prove that he is one of the few who actually goes out and does the legwork that ALL reporters should do.
Well, it's good to see there are folks here aren't completely fooled by campaign hacks on the internet. - ferrofluid, on 02/29/2008, -0/+3Republicans are to democracy, as Charles Manson was to ...
- newbluesoap, on 02/29/2008, -0/+2This is not new info. Information about flying the saudis out can be found by watching the movie Fahrenheit 911 or Zeitgeist.
- cg06vx, on 02/29/2008, -0/+2727 are 3 engined aircraft, they are exempt from the ETOPS rules, Pan Am use to fly them from New York to London all the time.
But what does't make sense is that the Royal Saudi have their own aircraft, a 747-SP - ferrofluid, on 02/29/2008, -1/+3its not about degrees, its about direct links and money transfers between parties.
Its all been investigated and documented by DOJ and co, just that elements have been downplayed due to who is running the country at the moment.
The State attorney 'firings' were partly connected to some of the investigations, ie some were investigating links between politicians and the crooks, then they got railroaded by the DOJ. - clarionhaze, on 02/29/2008, -1/+3The puppet master need only to pull a string.
- ferrofluid, on 02/29/2008, -1/+3Yes nothing to see here move along...
Osma Bin Laden's family and assorted Saudi royals and friends were allowed to leave the US by air during the 'no fly' week following 9/11
Why flee the US, it was only a terrorist attack not WW3 ! - Bcodms, on 02/29/2008, -2/+4Read Hopsickers entire site. Read Terry Reed's book, Read the BCCI books. Read about Nugan Hand, Read McCoy's book.
- khail250, on 02/29/2008, -11/+13so what, he is a Christian this will still get him at least 35% of the votes no matter what he does, how many people he is willing to murder, how many wars, etc...
- ferrofluid, on 02/29/2008, -1/+3Dont confuse average people walking on the street with the uber rich on those planes,

- kindpastor, on 02/29/2008, -3/+5People with a small stake in a particular government program or law = less likely to vote
People with a large stake in a particular government program or law = more likely to vote, campaign, lobby congress.
Hint: The majority of americans have a small stake in a particular government program or law, as a result, most campaiging, lobbying and voting is done by so-called "Special Interests."
This is not a threat to democracy, this is how democracy intrinsically works. It's like saying the fact that a bicycle falls when rode off a cliff is a "threat to bicycling". - ferrofluid, on 02/29/2008, -0/+2or Mornington Crescent ;)
I’m going Regents Street, because that is bridging Oxford Circus and Piccadilly Circus. - ferrofluid, on 02/29/2008, -1/+2paranoia, would you trust a known plane that might be rigged.
better to get out of the country on random charter planes. - Bcodms, on 02/29/2008, -3/+4When are you going to wake up and smell the coffee. It is people like you who haven't done any homework. Hopsicker has done more homework than Congress has on this important matter to the American people. People unwilling to ask for a special prosecutor in these relationships are the problem.
