- 22crazy, on 09/19/2008, -0/+19These videos should be widely distributed as you won't see them on the corporate-owned television. These are McCain's own words and deeds and are relevant to this upcoming election. This is the "straight talk" we need.
- Islandkat, on 09/19/2008, -0/+16Hasn't it already been pointed out that off shore drilling, at least off the Virginia Coastline would actually be a breach in American Security? Oh... wait... We have the FBI, CIA, & Homeland Security to guard us!!! Not!
- bschwarcz, on 09/19/2008, -0/+16This gives me a knot in my stomach.
- Echota, on 01/05/2009, -0/+13Palin has took up McCains "drill here and drill now".
She is all about the Big Oil!
Neither McCain or Palin are taking America serious! Neither are putting country First! - Arishia, on 09/20/2008, -0/+9I don't think they care about drilling here or drilling now. They just want to kill alternative energy for now, and maintain oil based energy systems. Like, hello. It's their markets they are defending.
- jpdoner, on 09/20/2008, -0/+8It would be interesting to see the Fannie and Freddie contributions for the same period to Republican candidates!
- brightlight4, on 09/20/2008, -0/+7It has been stated that off shore drilling would not be productive for years and would only contaminate and increase destruction of the ocean and its species, all for what? To produce MORE global warming?
- BishkekBuddy, on 09/20/2008, -0/+6Robert F. Bennett, $107,999
Spencer Bachus, $103,300
Roy Blunt, $96,950
Christopher S. 'Kit' Bond, $95,400
Rather than looking at those at the top of the lists (Rep and Dem), it's better (imho) to look at totals..... and they're pretty much equal. Dems received $1.5million from the PAC and the Reps received $1.4million. - one4REALchange, on 09/22/2008, -0/+3Two-faced McCain? First I'm for, then I'm not.
Will the REAL McCain please stand up?
Oh, there you are on TheRealMcCain.com - georges70, on 10/05/2008, -0/+3This goes to show that McCain does not truly support clean renewable energy, such as solar, wind, geothermal, etc. He's in the pockets of Big Oil; his campaign is infested with lobbyists of all types, including those from Big Oil.
- MplsVala, on 10/05/2008, -0/+2We need to do a better job of exposing the hypocrisy of the Neocon Republicans. As Franken (the Dem challenging Coleman for his senate seat in MN) has been quoted as observing, "They are completely shameless!" It would be good to get the word out in a form that "low-information" voters can quickly grasp.
- aimee624, on 10/05/2008, -0/+2Go Obama Go
- MorganMghee, on 09/20/2008, -0/+2"Big Oil to donate over $1 million to his campaign" THIS year. why did you even bother to type that comment?
- fstewart6, on 10/05/2008, -0/+1Many people think that John McCain supports clean energy and understands the need for a green economy. His campaign certainly tries to promote that image. Unfortunately, it's image rather than reality. This video makes McCain's relationship with Big Oil clear.
