- Insightful, on 10/02/2008, -0/+14Some people “are poor if they’re billionaires.”
Oh yeah? Name one. I have nothing against rich people like McCain per se but do not talk down to us just because you had to cut your daily caviar serving from 5 oz. to 3 oz and have foie gras every other day. Ass. - paintgrl, on 10/02/2008, -0/+9Wow what a shock since McCain thinks people with assets of 5 million are middle class.
- auntazalea, on 10/02/2008, -0/+7I am trying to figure out how many cans of tuna I can afford this week and he thinks he isn't rich?
- rebelcapitalist, on 10/02/2008, -0/+6I think he is self-destructing day by day. Actually, he could be sheltered in his own world - totally oblivious to what is happening around him.
- MediaWeasel, on 10/02/2008, -0/+6He's just told everyone how bad he would be at being President. He's a gambling man. He's alluded to that quite a few times in the context of his politics.
He makes bad decisions. So he loses. DON'T VOTE FOR THIS IDIOT. - sullivanst, on 10/02/2008, -0/+3No no no!
McCain thinks people with INCOMES of $5 million are the top end of middle class.
That's $5 million EVERY YEAR.
If you earn $4.99 million/year for 10 years, you can easily have $40 million of assets and still meet McCain's definition of middle class. - paintgrl, on 10/02/2008, -0/+3Oh geeeees that is even worse and or better to prove my point. Is he an ass or what. Good info thanks.
- stonecircle, on 06/11/2009, -0/+1Really? McCain, himself, was born into money. His mother, a wealthy oil heiress, has been described as “the Auntie Mame of Navy wives.” The family still chuckles about the day she went on an errand to buy a new dress, and came home with a new Mercedes instead.
