- Cuchanu, on 10/29/2008, -7/+214The McCain campaign hypocrisy is reaching epic proportions.
- kezia1, on 10/29/2008, -8/+200WTF? I swear John McCain has no clue what is going on in his own ***** campaign.
- rebotfc, on 10/30/2008, -2/+125Says the campaign that hid Palin from any iota of scrutiny for weeks.
- MakanGuru, on 10/30/2008, -4/+126um did McCain not cancel with Larry King and CNN because they felt Campbell Brown was too "tough" on one of his spokesman with her questioning?
http://edition.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/09/05/brown.b ... - hellomms, on 10/29/2008, -6/+125Notice how every news is "Breaking News" in Faux News
- Shelter22, on 10/30/2008, -4/+86I really can't wait until we get this ***** over with and get Obama in office.
- bitfreak, on 10/30/2008, -1/+76I was in Iraq for a good long while, in the US Army. I carried a gun. I "hung out" with a mix of innocent civilians and a few taliban, maybe even a few actual gun toting terrorists. I disarmed them, put zip ties on them, talked to them. I even fed them. I guess I'm a terrorist now too?
They certainly think I am. - beakerwimp, on 10/29/2008, -4/+78Hypocrisy: It often comes back to haunt you (especially when you are this blatant about it).
- bartpieters, on 10/30/2008, -1/+55It's not a boycott, it is a simple matter of efficiency. The line of questioning and the whole exchange disqualified, in my eyes, WFTV as a serious media outlet. They lost their credibility, again in my opinion. Assuming the Barack campaign shares that view, why would they invest time, energy and money if they yield of such is low and other venues should provide more yield.
- chrissku, on 10/30/2008, -2/+505 more days until we don't have to hear from John McCain anymore. The next time we see him he'll be dozing off during Obama's State of the Union speech in late January.
Oh yea.....I wish nothing but bad things for Sean Hannity. What a smug little puke. - Drakoi, on 10/30/2008, -1/+48uhhh, and how many interviews has palin done? ***** HYPOCRITES.
- rald84, on 10/29/2008, -3/+49lalalwl
- 1andiamo1, on 10/29/2008, -3/+46I mean, the Republican base loves to hear these things. But doesn't he realize he can't do it with the base alone? Doesn't anyone in his campaign? Maybe it's too late now, but still. This sort of thing is just fruitless.
- pennsykid2000, on 10/30/2008, -2/+41If conservatives think Palin is a strong candidate for 2012, then conservative Republicans are a lot more intellectually bankrupt than I thought. Looking back on the last two decades of their candidates--Bush Sr, Dole, Bush Jr, McCain--they've sent up some unimpressive standard bearers, even if the Bushes managed to fool enough people to get elected. Following that group with Palin would show the world how pitiful their stable is of top-level intellect and talent. I think the Repub 2012 nominee will be someone on no one's radar now, like Obama was 4 years ago. If Obama does even moderately well to dig us out of the holes Bush and Congressional Republicans have put us in, that 2012 candidate will be simply a sacrificial lamb.
- inactive, on 10/30/2008, -2/+40Man, I wish the Republicans nominated Ron Paul. He and Obama would actually discuss real issues, instead of this schoolyard whining back and forth. Shame on you, McCain.
- MikeyBillz, on 10/30/2008, -2/+39"Right Wing views Obama's tax policies as Marxist"?
What the f***ing hell??
Those people don't even know what Marxist means....poor bastards are so brainwashed....
5 more days.... - tonberryqueen, on 10/30/2008, -1/+34Grasping at straws: you're doing it. Poorly.
Want to tell me again about how everyone that Obama has ever worked with, been friends with, or said "hello" to on the street is a terrorist? 'Coz that's been really convincing so far, too, especially with Khalidi. Really. - inactive, on 10/30/2008, -2/+34Maybe after this is all over they can find a nice restful place for Johnny to nap for a bit.
- zenbud, on 10/30/2008, -2/+32No one could be more of a moron than the shrub. That is impossible. As far as Vice President candidates go, how's that caribou barbie workin' for ya? Wanna get back to me on that?? Wink, wink. Give me a break.
- inactive, on 10/29/2008, -8/+38When I first read this I read "Obama boycotts WWF", then I wondered why Obama would feel compelled to boycott wrestling, then I thought that couldn't be right, then I thought maybe someone was trying to claim he's boycotting the other WWF, and then I thought why would he boycott the world wildlife fund, and then I thought WOW, I NEED TO GET SOME SLEEP.
- booksnmore4you, on 10/30/2008, -1/+31One thing we consistently stand for is that we don't create huge Manichean US vs. THEM caverns, as you are displaying. Think about it.
- FulcrumVitesse, on 10/30/2008, -1/+29Fox News was NOT a friend of McCain's until he became the candidate. In fact, he should be boycotting those immoral bigots too.
- zenbud, on 10/30/2008, -2/+26We don't hate you - we speak about injustice, not swear and yell about it. Your speech belies your lack of understanding, education and breeding. We love you anyway.
- bobloblawsblog, on 10/30/2008, -4/+28ok, i gotta just say it. If you vote for McCain, you are either uneducated, a moron, or both.
- inactive, on 10/30/2008, -3/+24John "Dick Fingers" McCain
- AtHomeBoy2000, on 10/30/2008, -2/+23Has McCain been on Maddow or Olbermann in the last 10 months?
- LemonHerb, on 10/30/2008, -0/+20They must submit stories to digg.
- DreKor, on 10/30/2008, -2/+22Kind of like he wouldn't have a clue about how his administration was running the country. There was a time that I actually respected McCain. When he ran in 2000, or even last summer, I thought he was a decent candidate. But now, he's given up so many of his ideals that he's little more than a very worn out puppet. It's kind of sad.
- seltaeb4, on 10/29/2008, -3/+23At this point the Republicans are merely trying to avoid an epic blowout.
John McCain has yet to give even one positive reason why anyone should vote for him. He was once a man of honor; now he's debased himself to the point where he can do nothing but parrot the language that resonates with the Limbaugh simpletons in hopes of salvaging 40% of the vote.
Their own base is increasingly likely to stay home, so they've been reduced to running around screaming all of their Cold War fright words hoping to get Joe Sixpack and the End-Timer crowd inflamed in hopes they can avoid utter humiliation at the ballot box. - oldhick, on 10/30/2008, -0/+20A real life terrorist? What did the terrorist do and why didn't the police arrest him for his terrifying acts of terror? Seriously, who was this terrorist? Lets go capture him and turn him for our reward money. What was Obama applauding for? Was he like, "yeah blow stuff up! Awesome terror work there buddy, I was terror-ified!"
Also, what is fiscally conservative about the Bush tax cuts? Do you consider it fiscally conservative to increase spending, thereby increasing the deficit and the national debt? If I wrote checks that I didn't have the money to cover, would you call me a fiscal conservative? If I live my life in debt, would you call me fiscally conservative? - phroztbyt3, on 10/30/2008, -4/+24He boycotted all of CNN for 3 weeks when all they wanted to talk about was his stupid ass pick for the VP, and NOW he's apalled, what a ***** hypocritical loser.
- charm803, on 10/30/2008, -0/+20Yeah, my brother, too. (He served in Iraq.)
He also even gave some children *gasp* candy!
I'm related to someone who palled around with people who might have palled around with terrorist!
Guess he can't run for President.
;) - Mujokan, on 10/30/2008, -1/+20I think you could probably get a bot to write that kind of post...
- charm803, on 10/30/2008, -2/+20Can you imagine this buffoon in the White House?
*shudder* - ClosedCaption, on 10/30/2008, -1/+19Wait...Let me get this straight. McCain is crying about Obama not taking tough questions, whining about the liberal media, boo-hooing about how Palin is treated unfairly by unnamed "liberals", and you create a comment bitching and moaning about how digg commenters aka "liberals" bitch and moan?
Brilliant! - Coffae, on 10/30/2008, -4/+21I wish McCain would just shut up completely. He is getting embarrassing.
- inactive, on 10/30/2008, -4/+20Sorry, John.
We can't hear you over the sound of how unqualified your running mate is. - eagee, on 10/30/2008, -3/+18McCain, again, should be ashamed of himself. What a national disgrace this campaign has been. I do believe the fellow who said Palin would be worse if she ran. However I'll be shocked if her campaign gets very far after the damage she did here.
- malex, on 10/30/2008, -0/+14Go back to bed, Joe McCarthy.
- martalli, on 10/30/2008, -2/+17"He's a MARXIST ZOMG!!!" = Please, oh please, would my Republican base at least come out and vote for me???
- wolfing, on 10/30/2008, -3/+17With only a few days left, get ready for McCain's campaign to say the weirdest of things, since there is not time to refute them. I wouldn't be surprised if he said 'HEY! Before you leave to vote, I found out Obama doesn't sleep, he turns into a werewolf at night and eats aborted fetuses with his socialist friends!'
- inactive, on 10/30/2008, -2/+16I am so sick of the They said, I said crap by the McCain team. Lets get this thing over and dump him in the dustbin of history along with the guy he mostly/doesen't support!
- bitfreak, on 10/30/2008, -0/+13Purple Heart, CIB, 2 Bronze Stars. I earned the right to call it my 'gun' or my swollen purple republican if I want to. Try again.
- ClosedCaption, on 10/30/2008, -1/+14The terrorist that the Republicans funded with almost a half million dollars for education research? That terrorist?
Just face it..the list of "liberals" hiding around every corner and under ev ery bed is soo long that now you just sound like a loon. Liberal media, liberal digg, liberal comments...but not one mention of facts, truth and untrue. Republicans blew this election, just like the last one and they always look for someone else to blame...like liberal bias. THATS the party of personal responsibility - SpectralSounds, on 10/30/2008, -2/+15He knows exactly what is going on. Like I've said time and time again. The vast majority of people who are voting for John McCain, only care about what John McCain says. He could tell them that he eats babies for breakfast and wipes his ass with kittens, and they would love him for it.
I think McCain has a clear understanding of just how "devoted" (Brainwashed) the Republican masses are. He exploits this stupidity to his advantage. For the most part, it is working. Fox News is sucking it up, and the devoted Fox News watchers are sucking it up.
They do not do the research, they do not check facts. They hear John McCain say Obama is bad, and that is it. That is all that needs to be said. They are easily brainwashed, and some of them actually want to be brainwashed. It does not matter which Republican was chosen to run for President, the idiot republican masses would defend them to the death. - Someguy101, on 02/19/2009, -4/+17John McCain believes that America is stupid. Probably because a majority of his supporters are scraping the bottom of the barrel when it comes to their education levels.
- rugabug, on 10/30/2008, -0/+13Sadly CNN has followed suit.
- tonberryqueen, on 10/30/2008, -2/+14That's only because the SEXIST LIBERAL COMMIE media is critical of her.
If they would just go ahead and give her a free pass because she's a woman and it's not fair to question her for any reason, things would be kosher.
(By the way, complaining about sexism is only whining when Hillary does it. And when it's actually a legitimate complaint instead of *****.) - lostsymphonies1, on 10/30/2008, -2/+14Most of the time I can't tell if McCain is just painfully ignorant, or if he is lying and manipulating truths. Either way he scares the hell out of me.
- ObtuseGoose, on 10/30/2008, -1/+13Yay! My first "blocked user" of the day. Woot!
