Sorry, but that was NEVER our policy until Bush took office. If McCain want's to ignore the successful face-to-face negotiations we've had with our enemies in the past, and insist on sticking with Bush's policy of ignoring the threat, then so be it.
This is a losing game for McCain and a very, very stupid decision to stick with Bush's ideology. We had a foreign policy that actually worked most of the time until Bush changed it.
