- ARupp, on 06/11/2008, -10/+142Welcome to the White House, Mr. Obama.
- alapoet, on 06/11/2008, -4/+77Things have gone so swimmingly GREAT under the Bush-Cheney regime for the last seven years...
Why not just vote McCain and have four more years of this fun! - rawg, on 06/11/2008, -4/+66Who is McCain trying to win over with his support of Cheney? I can't think of a single person, Democrat or Republican who thinks that Cheney has any redeeming qualities. McCain is seriously starting to look totally out of touch with reality.
- gwayo, on 06/11/2008, -2/+47If you read the article, McCain is no longer saying that he want Cheney in his administration; he's attempting to distance himself given Cheney's hugely unpopular standing with a majority of Americans.
The important point of the article is that EVEN THOUGH he is no longer saying "Hell, yeah" because it's disadvantageous for his image, the fact that he made all these gushing statements about how awesome Cheney is *just last year* indicates where his real values are. Point being that even if Cheney isn't part of McCain's gang right now, McCain sincerely believes most of the things that Cheney does, particularly when it comes to big oil and Iraq and disastrous foreign policy. - skyshock1, on 06/11/2008, -4/+38McCain Administration?! HA! There won't BE a McCain Administration.
- gannondork, on 06/11/2008, -9/+31Stupid McBush is stupid.
- tnoy, on 06/11/2008, -0/+21Who? there are litterally tens of.. TENS.. of people out there that think Cheney would be the best option for his VP.
- obamacan, on 06/11/2008, -0/+18Cheney, of course. Who else? lol.
- jdelator, on 06/11/2008, -7/+23PrePresidential McCain was awesome. Now he flip flops on wiretapping and wants Cheney to stay? Will he flip flop on torture as well?
08AMA! - laj4obama, on 06/11/2008, -5/+20He wants Vice President 'So' in the white house huh?
- junkwheel, on 06/11/2008, -2/+16Would you like to achieve the same success as Bush has in the last 8 years?
HELL YEAH!
Do you want a ranch like Cheney's?
HELL YEAH!
What about some Haliburton stock which doubles when the US death toll in Iraq doubles?
HELL YEAH!
John "make it a hundred years (in Iraq)" McCain - edwartica, on 06/11/2008, -0/+13"exact dumbest" - there are so many things wrong with that phrase.
- Mootabolife, on 06/11/2008, -1/+13Having someone on staff with a lesbian daughter helps when you don't plan on legalizing gay marriage.
- villainousT, on 06/11/2008, -2/+13I'll admit it. I used to consider choosing McCain over Clinton if she had won the nomination. How he has handled himself this election though, is a disgrace to even himself. How pathetic he has become...what a sellout.
- edwartica, on 06/11/2008, -0/+10Maybe they'll go quail hunting together.
- SupremeThor, on 06/11/2008, -1/+11he crashed his jet fighter....
- IllBeBack, on 06/11/2008, -0/+10"YOUR THE DUMBEST"
Whatever you say, chief.
/sarcasm - goomba323, on 06/11/2008, -1/+10@bradysdaman
No, he allegedly crashed five fighter jets while serving. He also graduated 894 out of 899. He was a lousy pilot and a lousy student. And sure, he's a war hero, in the sense that his most reknowned accomplishment in the military was that he was caught by the enemy and tortured for five years. I don't trust him to be anything other than a lousy president.
source: http://www.vietnamveteransagainstjohnmccain.com/ci ... - drmobutu, on 06/11/2008, -0/+8Cheney would be indispensable to a McCain Administration. Cheney will decide who McCain's running mate will be...and pick which cabinet post he himself will occupy...as well as choose the rest of the cabinet appointees...
- inactive, on 06/11/2008, -2/+10I see what you did there.
- Nitrodist88, on 06/11/2008, -1/+9It wasn't that long ago that the south endorsed slavery too.
- CJArgus, on 06/11/2008, -0/+7He then turned to the Vice President for a terrorist fist-jab.
- sejr, on 06/11/2008, -4/+11Dear sweet Jesus.
- MattB123, on 06/11/2008, -1/+8They don't need us to do that anyway. They do a fine job themselves.
- AJRiddle, on 06/11/2008, -7/+14I am by no means a McCain supporter, in fact I am in intern for the democratic party, but do we really need to bring up quotes from 2004 saying Cheney was a good VP... after all, at the time a lot was still unknown about him and Bush did win the election that year. Obviously if McCain were to be asked the same question again he would answer differently. It isn't flip-flopping when things change. Staying static in an ever-changing world is stupid and bad, not changing your opinions.
- zyklon, on 06/11/2008, -1/+7Well, he is old enough to come into the senile dementia stages of life. Not to mention PTS coupled with possible Alzheimer's. People don't think about that though.
- asspants, on 06/11/2008, -0/+6how many times was he shot down?
- NacaV, on 06/11/2008, -3/+9You know most families wouldn't trust the 71 year old grandpa to drive to the grocery store, yet we will allow a 71 year old man to run a country? This guy will be 72 years old by the end of elections. He will be 80 years old and still president, this is madness!
Only thing that scares me more is McCain choosing Rudy Giuliani as his VP. - suckanucka, on 06/11/2008, -3/+9I like how McCain said Cheney was one of the best vice presidents ever, but wouldn't want him to serve as his. Maybe because both of you are old *****, and you don't want Nancy Pelosi taking over.
- Shapdawg1, on 06/11/2008, -3/+9He DID flip flop on torture, remember? He is now pro-waterboarding. I think he's pretty sure he's probably against most other forms of torture, though.
- Takfam, on 06/11/2008, -0/+6We hate the candidate that is trying to take the job away from the more qualified candidate. Hillary was that person. She's not anymore. Now McCain is that person.
The Digg opinion machine is not an arbitrary hate gun we level at people, else we'd never be able to pull it away from the Scientologists to aim at anyone else. - Lyk4n, on 06/11/2008, -0/+5Away, ye troll..
- edwartica, on 06/11/2008, -2/+7Actually, I think Jesus would be more for someone who cared about the poor.
- edwartica, on 06/11/2008, -2/+7I dunno. I think his presidency would be a form of torture on all of humanity.
- kswiggs, on 06/11/2008, -3/+7Even if he really feels that Cheney was a great VP, he is showing how completely out of touch he is by saying so to an American public that hates him . Just another shot in the foot of the McCain's run.
- petebot, on 06/12/2008, -0/+4Some would say Cheney is hated MORE than Bush...
- tEhKewleSt, on 06/11/2008, -1/+5The block user button is A W E S O M E.
- tEhKewleSt, on 06/11/2008, -6/+10OK, just so I'm clear, now we're supposed to stop hating Hillary as much and start focusing our digg hate on McCain? I want to make sure I'm conforming properly...
- ghostaliaz, on 06/11/2008, -0/+4That is just why people are so sick of republicans, because if this idiot actually thinks (Cheney) did a good job then this old fart needs his head examined. They have outsourced all of our jobs to other countrys. Our economy is in hells tornado at the moment of (Bush & Cheney's) sweet corrupted corporate bullcrap & our kids schools have been dumbed down, so bad that the children are dang near mutes. The education has been cut all around the USA to build more weapons to kill with. Our soldiers (2 being my step brothers) are at war in iraq & when they come back (MR. Bush & Cheney) don't give them any help infact these idiots cut the support for our wonderful troops. It just make me chuckle when the republicans say that they support our troops, please all they do is send them to war & then run from them when they come back home & leave them alone to help themselves & i know because we are not only dealing with this crap from my 2 step brothers, but also from other fam in this wastefull war. Since these idiots have been in office our USA has put families on the street to starve & there is no jobs because dummy bush & dummy Cheney has shipped all of the jobs to india & china & mexico. Screw Iraq & the people in it. We need to care about people here I am sorry,we come first & others around the world last. I would not vote for a republican even if JESUS came down & told me to. Those idots must go. Obama is the future & the only hope for our childrens & our own education to be reinstated & these 2 idots cut out tech & science education & the arts out of all of the schools while pushing nothing but smut & the ignorant tv box of crap to our children & I for one are sick of these money grubby ignorant dino's. They are simply the past & need to be forgotton & Obama is the now & the future expecially iif you are aorking in the tech industry like I am bush & Cheney have cut our technology foot print & science footprint, now the USA cannot even compete with the rest of the world. They are kicking our but*s in the tech & science world now that the two idiots have made mence meat of our education here in the USA, so they need to go & every Republican idiot need to go because they believe in taking food out of the mouth of every american family & ship it overseas to others & I am sick of that crap. We here in the USA need help & our allies, but these peopleI like china needs to do nothing for us because they mean us nothing but harm & I for one do not trust anything that china says & I do not want anything from them expecially not there food because it is tanted & they are even trying to hack our gov computers here in the USA & I think china is simply our enemies & I rather pay more and pay our farmers here in the USA for there food because I trust them before these china thiefs. Don't ever vote republican because you will be sorry, just like we all are now from having 8 years of the big biz puppets for prez & vice prez.
- jhails, on 06/11/2008, -1/+5I'm sure that John McCain would enthusiastically suck Cheney's ***** live on CNN if he thought it would get him the Presidency.
He would probably swallow as well. - vinod1978, on 06/11/2008, -2/+6In 2000, I respected McCain, in 2008 I despise him. I don't understand how there isn't more mass media attempts to show the public how similar to Bush he actually is. He is pandering to Hillary Clinton's woman voters, while still adopting all of Bush & Cheney's policies. Furthermore, any Hillary Clinton supporter that is NOT voting for Barack Obama is only hurting themselves. If you want a president that will make abortion illegal, send your husbands, brothers, and even your sisters to Iran and then not even give them the same benefits that HE had when he was in the military, or vote against the victims of finding of Katrina multiple times or want a president that said:
“I’d be honored to have President George Bush’s support, his endorsement. And I’d be honored to be anywhere with him under any circumstances. I am proud of this president’s strategy in Iraq.”
You can watch McBush say this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vg7y0oeltSg&eurl. Will you still vote for someone that will actually destroy the United States? I don't think these supporters that won't vote for Obama realize how easy it can be to destroy the empire of the United States. It happened to Rome, Great Britain, and Germany - McCain will make sure that we are next.
Vote for Obama in 2008
-- www.bigredmat.com - swrostmore, on 06/11/2008, -1/+5"You will hear from my opponent's campaign in every speech, every interview, every press release that I'm running for President Bush's third term. Why does Senator Obama believe it's so important to repeat that idea over and over again? Because he knows it's very difficult to get Americans to believe something they know is false." John McCain, June 3rd
"the fact is that I have agreed with President Bush far more than I have disagreed. And on the transcendent issues, the most important issues of our day, I've been totally in agreement and support of President Bush." John McCain, June 15th - Takfam, on 06/11/2008, -1/+5You were eloquent and presented your arguments perfectly right up until the "Digg me the ***** down" part. Was the profanity really necessary? I thought you made your point quite strongly until you demonstrated how childish you actually are with that last line.
- arplayer2k, on 06/12/2008, -0/+3Basically, this is McDouche proclaiming his undying love for Lord Fagel, by giving him a handjob.
- BlacklabelSAR, on 06/11/2008, -2/+5McCain is a political whoopee cushion.
- bjornski, on 06/11/2008, -0/+3You're right.
His dementia is set in much more solidly now. - TheZorch, on 06/11/2008, -4/+7McCain just committed political suicide.
- winmywii, on 06/11/2008, -0/+3I think most people disliked McCain to begin with, but we had to collectively focus our hate effort on Hillary. Now that she is out all hell is going to break loose on McCain. On a side note, McCain wasn't this crazy before this election year. I think he knows you have to be legally insane to win th far right vote.
- magus_melchior, on 06/12/2008, -0/+3Cuvee's rejoinder: The polls were manipulated by the dopey liberal moonbats!
- inactive, on 06/11/2008, -0/+3Agreed. McCain seems to be thinking of the Cheney of ~8 years ago, who was respected for his military and foreign policy experience. But now Cheney is hated as much as Bush is AND considered a war criminal by some, profiting of the death of Iraqis and American soldiers...
