McCain smiled as everyone else laughed, and then addressed the question. Now his campaign is calling Obama "sexist". I've said this many time but I'll say it again, if hypocrisy was outlawed, Republicans would go mute. They would have nothing to say.

    McCain defended the lies in some of his campaign ads this morning on The Vue. I don't know what the predominantly female audience thought of that.

    However as a true conservative, how is it that "conservatives" can support a man in McCain that actually uses the LIBERAL charge of sexism against his opponent? The Republicrat party has now fully embraced FEMINISM. If you do not know it by now, McCain is clearly not a conservative and he will continue to push the Republicrat party to the left if elected president. He is a globalist.

  • EatingPie, on 09/11/2008, -5/+1The joke about Chelsea was bad, indeed. The girl wasn't even a politician, and calling her ugly is wrong because it dragged her into the political stage. Same thing I've been saying about Palin's children.

    But let's face it, Saturday Night Live had Will Ferrell playing Janet Reno for a reason. And it's one of the funniest thing he does. Is he a sexist? Or making fun of the obvious? Reno looks extremely masculine, duh! But on the flip-side, she is also a very strong female role model because she doesn't take *****.

    I'm not justifying what McCain did -- like I said, the Chelsea jibe was uncalled for -- but I don't see this as cut-and-dried as Huffington is making it out to be. If this involved a Democrat, for example, would we be seeing this? So beside considering what "sexism" really involves, we ALSO must consider when agenda (illegitimately) effects that definition.
