- vatosplace, on 09/15/2008, -7/+358I expect Megyn Kelly will be looking for work before long.
- Quactaur, on 09/15/2008, -2/+207What the *****. Does someone want to explain why the hardest takedown of a McCain advisor post-convention is coming from Fox? Is Satan skating to work tomorrow?
- nanoscare, on 09/15/2008, -3/+176Fox wipes the lipstick off? You have got to be kidding me.
- Wootstapler, on 09/16/2008, -2/+144Why is there an iTunes Ad for the thumbnail?
- qdkk, on 09/15/2008, -4/+130May be she wants a real journalist job and is making audition tapes for her next employer.
- jlee2081, on 09/16/2008, -2/+120Tucker never fails to disgust me
- doctorfungi, on 09/16/2008, -16/+132I'm going to be dugg down for this, but I don't care.
I know that no one here actually watches Fox News. You just watch the YouTube clips and the clips that Jon Stewart puts on his show. Now, as someone who watches everything from ABC, CBS, MSNBC and FOX news on a regular basis, this kind of thing happens all the time. You just don't hear about it because you don't watch the network.
I'm not defending FOX news here, I'm just saying that on the occasion that I do watch FOX, I quite often see them ripping into McCain. Maybe not Hannity and O'Reilly (although O'Reilly often does on his radio show), but I've seen the rest of them do it. - else7en, on 09/15/2008, -1/+112um wow
bizarro am not confuzed - yarovlas1, on 09/15/2008, -2/+91Let's hope Fox sticks with this
- fireballtko, on 09/15/2008, -4/+87Wow is the world upside down? FOX NEWS is asking the McCain camp to tell the TRUTH!
They maybe a God yet ... - inactive, on 09/15/2008, -3/+70Bleh, what of the 100000 other times. She questioned him hard because he is a known idiot.
- lopla, on 09/16/2008, -7/+66On Palin:
"I pushed her on the earth's creation, whether it was really less than 7,000 years old and whether dinosaurs and humans walked the earth at the same time. And she said yes, she'd seen images somewhere of dinosaur fossils with human footprints in them."
Munger also asked Palin if she truly believed in the End of Days, the doomsday scenario when the Messiah will return. "She looked in my eyes and said, 'Yes, I think I will see Jesus come back to earth in my lifetime.'" - normlsparky, on 09/15/2008, -3/+57fox better be careful, the mccain campaign might just decide to punish them like they did to larry king.
- SoulGrub, on 09/16/2008, -2/+50I'm thinking they're trying to salvage some dignity and reputation while the Republican Party and the US economy goes down the toilet.
- JohnnyKdiggs, on 09/16/2008, -2/+49It's a token McCain criticism. They do it from time to time so that they can continue to claim that they are "Fair and Balanced". They're trying to draw in independent voters, so that in November they can relaunch their smear machine to a listening ear.
[obligatory Admiral Ackbar ASCII] - aereaus, on 09/16/2008, -2/+46Fair and balanced reporting? Or seeing the mood of the country change and wanting to maintain market share.
- sk11, on 09/15/2008, -1/+31If they lose fox news, they'll have no tv media to pedal their propaganda. Murdoch holds the republican party by the balls.
- aereaus, on 09/16/2008, -1/+30Yeah if she gets her finger on the nuke button.
- facelesscoward, on 09/16/2008, -0/+27Hahahahahahahaha! Tucker Bounds never gets a break, does he? I bet he was thinking, "Oh sweet, I'm going to get to go on Fox News. This is gonna be a cinch compared to that [numerous expletives deleted for effect] Campbell Brown."
- mikesoba, on 09/16/2008, -2/+29Fox is showing some ethics - glad to see it.
Tucker dances around questions like a diva ballerina in a tutu - and lies as well, the good Neo-con that he is. - cadmiumpaint, on 09/16/2008, -2/+28tucker bounds is the biggest doofus involved in this election. I seriously think that guy still eats paste and has a care bears lunchbox.
- Renian, on 09/16/2008, -1/+26Asking REPUBLICANS the tough questions.
- kingofinternet, on 09/15/2008, -2/+27i guess they all got the memo from rupert.
the fact that i want to bone megyn kelly fills me with such self-loathing. a little less now. - packerdawl, on 09/16/2008, -1/+25The relationship between Fox News and the Republican party is at heart, intended to financially benefit one another and once that is jeopardized, it's every man for themselves.
- BevansDesign, on 09/16/2008, -1/+25First Karl Rove criticizes McCain, which was bizarre enough to make my brain bleed, and now Fox News. Are they TRYING to kill me?
- sapphire9488, on 09/16/2008, -0/+23Yeah! She also called him out today about the McCain camp's claims of Obama voting to "teach sex-ed to kindergardeners." She must have had enough of Fox News, and just figured she'd go out with at least a bit of dignity.
- cadmiumpaint, on 09/16/2008, -0/+22nah, they keep showing her in short skirts every morning and they'll keep viewership up.
- ProfessorSYM, on 09/16/2008, -2/+23It is because the other networks are bitch-whipped by the McCain campaign, and they all want an interview with Sarah Palin.
That is why you didn't see anchors on MSNBC criticizing Palin's interview with Charlie Gibson after it was aired. They are kissing ass so they can score a one-on-one with their latest media creation, that "folksy" Sarah Palin. - MacEnvy, on 09/16/2008, -1/+21That was E. D. Hill. She no longer works for FNC (pwned by the bump, I guess).
- vpshockwave, on 09/16/2008, -4/+22No.
Still surprising though :) - UNDERSTAR, on 09/16/2008, -0/+18I'm telling you guys that the Hardon Collider has definitely pulled us into a parallel universe. We're just finding out by bits & bits.
- LogicalMind, on 09/16/2008, -0/+16All this is an attempt to make fox news seem legit in the face of the upcoming hannity interview with palin. People will say that hannity is completely biased and not a journalist and fox news will point to this moment and say "see, we ask the tough questions. fair and balanced."
- ickybod, on 09/16/2008, -2/+18When Fox News turns on their own republican, you KNOW something is wrong with the bastard.
- somegeologist, on 09/16/2008, -0/+16LOL
Amir Taheri is an Iranian-born journalist and author based in Europe. His writings focus on the Middle East affairs and topics related to Islamist terrorism. Taheri's public speaking engagements are arranged by Benador Associates, a public relations firm with a predominantly neoconservative clientele. [1][2][3][4] Critics have questioned Taheri's journalistic integrity, alleging that Taheri's writings contain misrepresentations.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amir_Taheri - darkciti2, on 09/16/2008, -0/+15On Fox News?!?
- lolmax, on 09/16/2008, -1/+15I watch fox news pretty much everyday. Lets just say I watch it quite a lot. I know, hard to believe on Digg, but I like to see what they are up to.
This sort of thing does not happen all the time. It happens rarely.
Every once in a while they will slightly criticize mccain. And I'm saying maybe once every week or so when I'm watching I'll hear something that even slightly hints at negativity towards mccain. Whenever it happens I feel like they think they are being sneaky by putting in a little "fair and balanced" as a little treat for all their viewers who like to believe in such a ridiculous slogan.
Then the tirade of shoveling ***** over obama and most any democrat's image continues as usual. - ajames01, on 09/16/2008, -8/+22Thank god someone other than me understands this. If they actually watched FOX news they would see FOX does this all the time.
- lordmike, on 09/16/2008, -4/+18Ok, this is definitely some Rovian trick (even Rove is calling out the lies).. there is absolutely no reason why the GOP's official mouthpiece would do anything to try and damage their nominee's chances at the white house... Obviously, there will be some spin and pivot of some sort... Democrats should not get excited about this... something nefarious is in the works...
- darkciti2, on 09/16/2008, -0/+14He's "nothing but a partisan hack", remember?
Oh wait, I thought you meant Tucker Carlson.
Oh wait, Tucker Bounds is too. - birdly, on 09/16/2008, -0/+14So to speak.
- writerswrite, on 09/16/2008, -0/+14Well, I've seen images of dinosaur and human footprints together too. Unfortunately for Sarah, The Flintstones is not a documentary.
- dcmjzero, on 09/16/2008, -1/+15Don't attack the source. It doesn't work. You have to disprove the message. Every time someone complains about ThinkProgress, DailyKos, and Huff Post they get dugg down. You would think you would learn by now. Even if you don't trust the source, obviously many Diggers do. And we trust them more than you. The burden is on you. You must prove your point and make us see your way. Otherwise, why bother?
- shawnanigans, on 09/16/2008, -1/+14Because I was listening to some Britney Spears and "Genius" thought I would like this.
- mark925, on 09/16/2008, -1/+14If Tucker Bounds is the best spokesman for McCain, you know that campaign is in trouble.
- firebirdx01, on 09/16/2008, -2/+14Wow, Tucker just won't shutup about Jesus Obama will he. It's people like him that are ruining the integrity of the McCain campaign.
- darkciti2, on 09/16/2008, -1/+13McCain checked his integrity at the RNC door.
He hasn't picked it up since.
I used to like him and he use to have honor. Now, he's become a Republican drone. It's really sad to see. - npearson99, on 09/16/2008, -1/+13WTF is going on? Rove, Romney and now Fox? This has to do with the LHC doesn't it...this is like one of the signs of the end of the world.
- Amazetbm, on 09/16/2008, -2/+13Did I wake up in the Twilight Zone? Fox News actually grilling candidates spokesman?
- relayer2112, on 09/16/2008, -1/+12Tucker Bounds needs a swift kick in the nuts.
- chr0nic21, on 09/16/2008, -0/+11The chicks in the media are growing some major Balls!!!!!
First the ladies in the view...now this?
