- BoulderSue, on 04/07/2008, -0/+4I wonder if John McCain realizes there is such a thing as cable/DISH 24/7? And I wonder what he considers to be "approaching normalcy" in Iraq. I'm sure there are shops open on the South Side of Chicago and similar places, too. But I would hardly call conditions there (at least last I was there) "normal. And what benefits do I get, as a Liberal, from "losing" in Iraq? I can't even keep straight who our enemies are as the Bushies explain it.
- RecklessProcess, on 04/07/2008, -3/+1How stupid was this interruption? Incredibly. The green zone has been hit by mortars thousands of times. So what? Sadrists are doing their damnedest to support the democrat position that 'the war is lost', however, it is only 'lost' to Iran and Iranian insurgents like Sadr. Why is it 'ironic'? Terrorists are going to try to ratchet up attacks because the democrats have led them to beleive if they do then Obama will get the presidency and al Qaida will be given Iraq with the blessings of the Democrat party. So they are doing what they can to support the Democrat position.
MSNBC wouldn't know 'news' if it bit them on the face. All they know is that they are going to reform the world by getting a Democrat in office. (That is not what a journalist does. What MSNBC does is not journalism; it is a campaign contribution. It should be against the law; it propbably is. Oh please, bring back the fairness doctrine.)
