- kdawg1012, on 08/21/2008, -1/+4Go to war, cut taxes, pander to big oil, etc. Yep, he's just the same as Bush - maybe even worse!
- radiantarchon, on 08/21/2008, -0/+1he saying this because anyone who doesn't know the difference is obviously an idiot
- CeeJayReb, on 08/22/2008, -0/+1I would think a politician running for any kind of office would distance themself from a president with such a shameful approval rating. I guess he figures he wouldn't do much better.

As is an Obama presidency, except that he's adding tax increases and more social programs to the ticket. - GrogInOhio, on 08/21/2008, -1/+1The question is not do WE remember 2000 but if McCain himself remembers that fellow from that timeframe.
- inactive, on 08/21/2008, -3/+2Why would he want to be different from Bush?
He's pandering to the Bush crowd, looking for idiots who still think Bush isn't a traitorous failure.
He is repackaging the same administration. He'll use the same people.
A McCain presidency is an extension of the disastrous and corrupt Bush presidency. McCain says so himself.
