- DJPhoenix, on 10/09/2008, -3/+10This is no surprise. However, it doesn't really matter. You can throw a mountain of facts at conservatives and it'll only make their convictions stronger. They recently did a study that actually proved that the more you argue with conservative types and the more evidence you present, it only results in strengthening their belief in their original position.

The companies will be allowed to export up to 98.1 Bcf to Japan and other Pacific Rim countries over a two-year period through March 31, 2011."
"Alaska Governor Sarah Palin welcomed the DOE approval. “In these times of economic uncertainty, this is great news for the state and its residents. This extension will secure a future for the LNG operation and is another step toward ensuring energy supplies and energy security for Alaska,” the Republican governor said."
From Alaska Journal Of Commerce, 11/25/07:
Reserves of gas in producing fields in South central Alaska are declining, posing concerns for supply to local utilities. A manufacturing plant on the Kenai Peninsula owned by Agrium Corp. recently announced it would close because the gas shortage.”
From Alaska.gov
“Agrium announced yesterday that the plant will close in December due to a shortage in the supply of Cook Inlet natural gas, leaving about 100 of the 140 employees without employment. ‘It’s unfortunate to see the closure of a facility that has provided so many jobs that support families on the Peninsula,’ said Governor Palin. ‘I am heartened to hear that Agrium is willing to keep its options open if sufficient long-term supplies of gas can be found. We know there is more gas to be found and developed in Cook Inlet, so I remain hopeful that those jobs can be preserved.’”
So no gas for local manufacturing plant but plenty to ship to Japan?
Will Palin sign an agreement to only sells oil drill from Alaska to be sold to US only? She will not and Obama will not either because most of us know that oil is a global commodity. It will go to the highest bidder which is the basic premise of supply and demand. So to argue "drill, baby, drill" as something that will lower our energy dependence is delusional. hrough March 31, 2011."

This is why Newsweek called it "Palin’s Pipeline to Nowhere" http://www.newsweek.com/id/160088
Here is how McCain characterizes Sarah Palin: "She knows more about energy than probably anyone else in the United States of America." Really? Are you sticking with that?
McCain and Palin. Wrong for America.

I immediately thought, "yea, this isnt going to do ***** to sway those ***** crazy, lunatics on the right." Long day with too much complete nonsense from the right i suppose. Those videos, then i saw a clip on the news of some ***** at a McCain rally get a standing ovation for saying, "Im mad as hell! Im mad that these SOCIALISTS are trying to take over the country!" McCain laughed, agreed, and then began spreading more lies about Obama. McCain and Palin are really fanning the flames of these illogical ***** retards on the right.
