- fantabulizer, on 10/13/2008, -14/+408He really is simply a baldfaced liar. If he ever did have any dignity or honor, it's long gone now.
- col381, on 10/13/2008, -10/+320"I have heard the same thing unfortunately at Senator Obama's rallies being said about me"
I wonder how many of Senator Obama's rallies that McCain has been to... (where does he find the time!)
surprising no-one recognized him there, maybe he wore a hat. - Duvie, on 10/13/2008, -15/+305Shame on McCain. Shame on Dana Bash.
- SpecificObject, on 10/13/2008, -8/+277It's gotten to the point where McCain will say anything to prove that he's just like Obama. People shouting "Kill Him" at a McCain rally, hey they must be doing it at an Obama rally too.
Pathetic.
And he wonders why people call him erratic and a liar? - elister, on 10/13/2008, -6/+241Ok, McCain defenders. Please post video of said claims made by McCain. Vids or it didnt happen!
- SpiderTrellis, on 10/13/2008, -9/+189Humiliating for being so shameless.
- nibble4bits, on 10/14/2008, -5/+183Really! And Fox News isn't around with footage of this extremeist behavior at Obama rallies?
- voyetra8, on 10/14/2008, -8/+124Wow, McCain has turned into a pathological liar.
- iamafractal, on 10/14/2008, -6/+117We need mccain to keep on going like this so we can get 60+ democratic senators!
- MJG2007, on 10/14/2008, -5/+109Even were this not a complete fabrication on his part (and it is or his "advisers" are going out their way to misinform him), is he trying to say two wrongs make a right (wingnut)?
- jtucker65, on 10/13/2008, -0/+93I think he is confused, He heard these things at his own rallies and didn't realize the crowd was talking about Obama! lol
- AverageJane2, on 10/14/2008, -6/+98OMFG, this guy is certifiably insane!

..................................., - youliveinfear, on 10/14/2008, -1/+85you really need to clarify this for them, or else you will get examples of some random Obama supporter saying not-so-nice-things about Mccain.
However, I challenge any of them to post a video that shows an Obama supporter yelling this during his speech, without an immediate response from Obama. - Alcorsu, on 10/14/2008, -4/+86It's the Pee Wee Herman defense: I know you are, but what am I?
Shame on you John McCain. - diggeradoo, on 10/14/2008, -6/+88Bullsh*t
- 5celery, on 10/14/2008, -6/+82How Bush is this?
- Echota, on 01/05/2009, -4/+73I want to see some actual news footage from an Obama rally calling McCain a terrorist!
Obama wouldn't put up with that kind of talk from his supporters!
Prove it McCain! - nc1024, on 10/14/2008, -7/+72How about desperate McCain...McCain who when he hears "Yes, we can" and "Hope" and "Change" at the Obama rallies thinks it's really "Kill McCain"..."McCain is a Terrorist" etc.,"my fellow prisoners..." the meltdown has begun....
- SpeedSteamBoat, on 10/14/2008, -0/+56That's not an Obama rally, but I think it's funny that youliveinfear called your move and you made it anyway.
- pintomp3, on 10/14/2008, -6/+61mccain lies so blatantly and adamantly a lot of reporters don't know what to do:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Agi7THNLVzA - rearlgrant, on 10/14/2008, -1/+51"We don't need that. ... All we need to do is get out and vote!"
Senator Obama - IphtashuFitz, on 10/14/2008, -0/+48If they do manage to come up with some video of it they'll have to cut it immediately after the statement is made, otherwise they'll also show Obama responding appropriately, telling the person yelling those threats that it's highly inappropriate, unwanted, and not representative of the campaign that Obama is running.
- tjordanchat, on 10/14/2008, -7/+51This man is a desgrace. McCain is a stain on America. This man was never great. No disgrace like him could have ever been great.
- ErickStevenson, on 10/14/2008, -0/+43Umm these are McCain supporters marching to well know Obama supporters, they are expecting to get booed. This is not the rally that McCain is talking about....
- bman1984, on 10/14/2008, -5/+47Reminds me of a piece yesterday on Fox news. The she male aired a couple of clips of people bashin mccain. None even said they supported obama. Definitely none of them were at an Obama rally. 97% of Fox viewers thought that they were one and the same.
- Eugenitor, on 10/14/2008, -2/+42Or he forgot whose rally he was at.
- inactive, on 10/14/2008, -6/+43How much more out of touch can McCain get before November? Soon he'll be complaining that Obama dodged the draft with an elementary school deferment. What a joke.
- dupswapdrop, on 10/14/2008, -4/+40I am glad to hear that McCain is finally starting to hear my nightly rants and shouting at him from my backyard.
- jmorato, on 10/14/2008, -3/+39Alright, he (McCain) hasn't said it yet, so let me spell it out for you.
He spent 5 years as a POW. Doesn't he deserve a little wiggle room with the truth?
/sarcasm off - keigwyn, on 10/14/2008, -5/+40McCain is showing himself that he wants to win by any means necessary. Hardly the sign of a good leader--as we have seen over the last eight years.
- masterkenobi, on 10/14/2008, -0/+35Don't feed the troll. Just bury him and wait for him to go away.
- Dumbledorito, on 10/14/2008, -5/+40I wonder if he was told to say something about the people yelling "traitor" and "terrorist" at his own rallies and just got confused.
- inactive, on 10/14/2008, -1/+36To be fair, McCain has occasionally corrected a member of his belligerent horde.
Remember the woman who said Obama was an "Arab"? McCain countered with, "No Ma'am, he's a decent, family man, citizen..." Apparently in McCain's lily-white world such terms cannot apply to an Arab. - algaeturd, on 10/14/2008, -6/+40Looks like the old man finally snapped and lost his mind. I can't say I'm surprised.
- lettruthout, on 10/14/2008, -4/+38YouTube: "This video is no longer available."
Is it me or are a lot of anti-McCain videos being pulled lately? - cadmiumpaint, on 10/14/2008, -6/+39this is hillarious. Even though every Obama rally is heavily covered by the media no one has picked up any of that?
This is like the umpteenth time that McCain has done something ridiculous and then blamed Obama for doing it. Talk about projection. - gametavern, on 10/14/2008, -2/+33Bald Faced? Thought it was bold-faced.
- youliveinfear, on 10/14/2008, -1/+32the point isn't whether there are negative things said on both sides, the point is that during an Obama rally, while he is speaking, show me a video in which a person is clearly heard to say something similar to what is said at Mccain/Palin, ie "Kill Him" and "Terrorist". I can guarantee you if Obama hears these things said from his audience he would be quick to rebuke the accuser.
- uncleosbert, on 10/14/2008, -0/+29no no, did you watch the video we're discussing? mccain said people yelled this at obama's rallies, not in the street at strangers.
i'm watching the video you posted. the mccain people exercised their right to march and the obama people exercised their right to yell at them.
and the person who made the video has no understanding that we are all americans. - MammasMilk, on 10/14/2008, -0/+29And Republicans behave the same way when Dems show up to protest McCain rallies.
The persistent accusation that Obama is a Muslim and will make "Muslim the national language and religion" not only goes beyond this but is incredibly ignorant. In fact it is hateful to a a whole group of people, not just Obama.
Calling Obama a terrorist is far more outrageous than this run of the mill partisan clash.
So lets not pretend this is the same or close to the same. - azpat, on 10/14/2008, -5/+32Hey McCain, Video or it didn't happen!
- stonecircle, on 06/11/2009, -7/+34Voting Season: Time to trim the Bushes and cut the 'Cains...
- ErickStevenson, on 10/14/2008, -5/+31LOL he can't hear his own Crowd in his rally (From what he said) but he can distinguishly hear people in Obama's rallies? Even though that is a complete lie. This has to be the saddest attempt by McCain yet. A desperate leader is never a good one, if this reflects how he makes decisions while in crisis, then I hope he does not win. This is the same desperate tactics that Bush ran that got us into this mess (Iraq war and the financial crisis)
- inactive, on 10/14/2008, -1/+27OMG did they just boo the McCain supporters? That's far worse than yelling "Kill him" or "Terrorist!".
- windphoenix, on 10/14/2008, -4/+27Ladies and Gentleman. McCain has officially lost it. It's not about small or big lies now. It's about claiming things that are so untrue that some people may actually find them true. Of course, you'd have to be stoned to believe these lies but if that woman who called Obama Arab even after McCain told her that he was not, there is a chance that some folks would believe McCain. It sort of reminds of Cindy McCain calling Obama's campaign one of the dirtiest campaigns in the history (!).
McCain has officially lost it. He says he is going to keep it respectful then goes on Fox and claims Obama has indeed been with terrorists, and he would kick Obama's behind and bring Ayers in the third debate. He can't hide behind Palin anymore. - homercles337, on 10/14/2008, -0/+23This man is shameless. How can he make claims like this with no proof what so ever?
- SnuKs, on 10/14/2008, -8/+30Can America PLEASE elect Obama?
It's just sad to see how desperate McCain is to win this election. It's ***** like this that makes me believe that if he's down in the polls come Nov 4 that some ballot rigging will take place! He truly is putting himself first, rather than the country. - Gerz1219, on 10/14/2008, -0/+22McCain is really showing the sort of cognitive dissonance and self-delusion we've seen from Bush for eight years. It's pretty obvious to me that McCain knows he's lost his honor, and deep down it bothers him that he's allowed his campaign to take this tone. But his ambition outweighs his decency, and rather than own that guilt and admit responsibility (which would be a losing electoral strategy), he has to tell himself that Obama's rallies are just as hateful, even though they are in fact civil, hopeful affairs. He's making this outrageous moral equivalence because he knows he's wrong and can't admit it, which means he's already lost the election in his head.
- MammasMilk, on 10/14/2008, -3/+25Ahh LukasSmith.
Why does he say anything? -
