Because she's going to have the nuclear codes. I want to know if she thinks dinosaurs were here 4,000 years ago. Or if she banned books or tried to ban books. I mean, we can't have that."
- jayliquori, on 09/10/2008, -27/+759normally listening to actors talk about politics is painful, but I trust Will Hunting.
- Lagger, on 09/11/2008, -12/+631Clearly, shes not ***** Matt Damon.
- yarovlas1, on 09/10/2008, -24/+582Ha.. An actor is doing what the press should be doing. Shame on the media for not recognizing the reality.
- inactive, on 09/10/2008, -12/+528That line was pure genius. Props to Matt.
- staffell, on 09/10/2008, -24/+515MATT DAMON
- Mikeo4723, on 09/10/2008, -37/+512Damon/Affleck 2016
- desantim, on 09/10/2008, -22/+406I completely agree with Matt. A lot of people may think of him as a puppet who reads cue cards and prompter screens, but this guy is a very intelligent, knowledgeable person who knows what he is talking about.
I wish more intelligent, unbiased people would share their opinions beside the idiot brigade of the FOX network... - lesbodojo, on 09/10/2008, -22/+379God damn. He just mapped out most of my fears with her.
- inactive, on 09/11/2008, -19/+335i have newfound respect for this guy, totally owned that bitch
- nzBeans, on 09/10/2008, -23/+245Dugg because of the Disney comparsion - will this be the "High School Musical" for the upcoming generation or is Kenny Ortega involved?
- lionfamlee, on 09/10/2008, -17/+237Classic! He is asking the questions that most should ask except those that will follow blindly. Once the chose is made there is no turning back.
People should vote on who they think will bring this country out of the funk it has been in the last 8 years instead of who is the most popular. Do the research (no matter on who you vote for) before casting your valet...Our great country depends on it. - gridbread, on 09/10/2008, -22/+231He nailed it, I hope this video spreads.
- maxtrix, on 09/10/2008, -15/+189In a World... (oh, wait..)
- wild, on 09/11/2008, -2/+169No kidding. An actor making a smart comment about politics. How do you like them apples?
- notque, on 09/10/2008, -11/+162Matt Damon does the voice for the audio book people's history of the united states of America. Awesome job.
- quanfer, on 09/11/2008, -1/+150The Bourne Presidency
- cedarbaydave, on 09/11/2008, -20/+160There are dinosaurs now. One is running for president. Don't you people watch the news?
- tonyoppenheim, on 09/11/2008, -6/+139On the book banning thing...
Not exactly, she wanted to know how to go about banning books, and the librarian said no. The Librarian was then fired or threatened with firing, and it was only through the efforts of about 100 local citizens that Palin was forced to back down on the Librarian and banning books.
So they can say that she didn't actually get to ban any specific books, and that list of books that has been circulating was not her list (I'd still love to know what would have been on her list), but Palin WAS interested in knowing how to go about banning books, and that's enough to disqualify her from being VP or President in my book (which she'd probably want to ban).
As Matt (we're on a first name basis) points out, given McCain's health issues you have to think in terms of President Palin at some point.
That really creeps me out! - inactive, on 09/10/2008, -20/+136Interesting video, but I won't be making up my mind until I hear with Vin Diesel has to say about this whole thing.
- harrypowers, on 09/11/2008, -19/+121Maybe the nicest famous dude on the internet lately and he hates you, Palin.
- jimdig33, on 09/11/2008, -13/+104No wonder that Sarah Silverman is ****ing Matt Damon!!
Best line in the clip! - FlexibleFlyer88, on 09/10/2008, -16/+93wow, he's really well spoken! i thought i was going to cringe watching this but he seems like a smart guy and i think he makes good points
- ko773, on 09/11/2008, -7/+79There is a big difference between Obama and the ***** bull Palin. Obama is not a Christian fanatic like Palin. Obama is not shoving creationism nor think its God's plan to go to war. Think deeper, idiot.
- nobody98, on 09/11/2008, -20/+92Maaaaatt Daaaaayyymooom
- soapandfoam, on 09/11/2008, -4/+75tell me that felt like a quote straight out of "Good Will Hunting!"
*****' GENIUS MATT DAMON!!! - Doktag, on 09/11/2008, -4/+74He was not saying a Christian shouldn't be president, he was saying a creationist shouldn't be president. Big difference. You can be Christian without being a creationist.
- habbofresh, on 09/11/2008, -4/+70too soon?
- bcclist, on 09/10/2008, -10/+76It's weird seeing him not act...
- carve, on 09/11/2008, -6/+62M-A-T-T D-A-A-M-M-O-O-N
- cookingboy, on 09/11/2008, -2/+57Dude, I'd rather have Matt Damon for VP than Palin...
- RC212V, on 09/11/2008, -3/+51They may both be Christian but the key differences are:
*Palin believes Creationism should be taught alongside evolutionary theory
*Palin is against teaching contraceptive use in sex education.
Sorry, but you can believe what you want but when your viewpoints will corrupt the education process and cause a bunch of people to be ignorant about safer sex practices there's a problem. - christopheles, on 09/11/2008, -4/+49It's called Creationism. Look it up.
- bjornski, on 09/11/2008, -5/+49I've watched him in many interviews, and he comes off as one smart cookie.
- inactive, on 09/10/2008, -18/+62Good stuff.
- PrinceFrog, on 09/10/2008, -14/+58Serious yet subtle and funny at the same time.
How do ya like DEM apples? - babykatd1, on 09/10/2008, -23/+65Matt couldn't have said it better! Palin is a freaking and horrifying joke.
- inactive, on 09/11/2008, -0/+40I can't believe it took that long.
- inactive, on 09/11/2008, -6/+44maaaat daaamon maaat daaamon
- gonegoogling, on 09/11/2008, -1/+38I trust Jason Bourne.
- satori3000, on 09/11/2008, -6/+43Scotty doesn't know
- gskill, on 09/10/2008, -14/+50Lol, I like the Disney comparison.
- fivo7, on 09/11/2008, -13/+48good to see someone cut through the bs
- geoken, on 09/10/2008, -6/+41That isn't ironic. He is saying, as a voter, he finds it scary that someone we know nothing about could potentially be president. He isn't contrasting his experience against her's.
- IIAmusedII, on 09/11/2008, -3/+37Do you really want someone who flagrantly rejects science to be president?
- mikedaul, on 09/11/2008, -2/+36No, no you got it all wrong. He was a janitor at MIT and he solved this really hard math equation on a chalkboard out in the hall one night, so they let him go to school there. He didn't finish though because of girl trouble.
- RockSlice, on 09/11/2008, -8/+40someone's views =/= their pastor's views! How many times does this need to be said?
(btw, it's "whose," not "who's," and "bearing," not "barring") - readacook, on 09/11/2008, -0/+32http://pbfcomics.com/?cid=PBF237-Lyles_Constant.gi ...
- krische, on 09/11/2008, -2/+32Uhh, you do realize that Matt Damon attended Harvard right? Last I check, they don't exactly accept idiots there.
