Maliki raises possibility that Iraq might ask U.S. to leave
mcclatchydc.com — Apparently The Iraq government not only doesn't want permanent US Military bases in Iraq, they might not want us there at all and ask us to leave. This coupled with A-Sadr's new claim to have his forces aim their weapons only at the American Occupiers and not at other Iraqi citizens spells trouble for the Bush administrations plans.

- rzxc, on 06/14/2008, -0/+4Signing an agreement made by President Bush is equivalent to signing an agreement with the devil. Not only would an agreement give Iraq to the Establishment, it would bolster the chances of neocons in the upcoming U.S. elections. The Iraqi government must not let this happen. They need to stand up for themselves and their people and create a time line for our forces to leave Iraq.

- jlhoben, on 06/15/2008, -1/+4The US invaded Iraq, occupied their country and took their oil. Do people really wonder if the Iraqi people want this?
- zombies187, on 06/16/2008, -0/+1Sadly, since both candidates have no plans to pull us out, the war will end with us being asked to leave. We should leave before that. Yknow, claim victory and go home.
