- RuffRidr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5This is simply incorrect. Most of the studies I have seen recently show exactly the opposite. Most Americans are fed up with Socialists taking away the right to self-defense. This is why you see "Castle Doctrine" bills showing up in so much State Legislations. Also, look no further than Washington D.C. You gun-grabbers had your chance. The murder rates didn't drop. In fact it was the opposite. People are waking up and seeing your tactics for what they are.

Well, that explains all the new "shall issue" states since 9/11.
What are there, four holdouts left?

http://libertyhavenranch.com - foamweapons, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Guns, Gays and Abortion ... these are issues that politicians use to distract citizens from realizing that billions of dollars in subsidies are being given to their corporate friends, while they grab for more power, and scam the American people.
Yeah, but surely Britain not having guns... "The laws, they should stay THE SAME"
You like killing babies... "LAWS = SAME"
But shouldn't gays... "STFU or ask me a question about American foreign policy, because if your next question is about violence in video-games I might have to kill you." - funhouse1970, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3This stinks to high heaven. Look at the source - University of Chicago - the birthplace of Neo-Conservativism (Leo Strauss and his ilk) . If anything the events since 9-11 makes people want to provide for their own self-defense.
The Neocons will use 9-11 as an excuse for absolutely everything and anything - even taking your guns away.
You so called conservatives ought to examine the Neocons who have hijacked your party (establishment Democrats are "owned" too). These corporatist/globalist pigs are destroying the Constitution. - thcanalichio, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1"most of the studies i have seen recently" - ?
care to back that up?
i don't take a stance on any of this, i'm just putting out what's been reported in the study. you decide for yourself. it could very well be that the pro-gunsters are just a loud, vocal minority. - thcanalichio, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0thanks for the dig!
