- Kishoba, on 05/27/2008, -0/+10The republican party is responsible for it's own demise, as they will soon find out in the coming elections, by disenfranchising so many members. I can't even concieve of why they would justifiably deny Ron Paul from speaking.
- JKap, on 05/28/2008, -0/+8The pro-Stalinist neocons have clearly demonstrated their willingness to supersede the rule of law in favor of the rule of men. This is yet another example of that.
So much for the "big tent" of the Republican Party in Minnesota--unless of course you love the power of the welfare/warfare state just as John McCain does. - foontala, on 05/27/2008, -0/+7Republicans obtain only about half the primary voters of the Democrats and have lost long time Republican seats in the Senate and House.
I can't imagine how they can be so comfortable with their recent political shortcomings that they still turn away the Ron Paul vote (~15%) and the Republicans that just can't stand McCain (~15%).
When you add it all up, Republicans are only going to get about 1/8 of the Democratic vote; IF it is counted correctly. - foontala, on 05/27/2008, -3/+1Weird. Ok, now it is working. I'm using firefox 3 rc1, and it was freaked out after several reloads... strange. Too bad all this has nothing to do with the article. Please digg down.
