Lynne Cheney: ‘Dick and Barack Obama are eighth cousins.’
thinkprogress.org — One of the things I discovered was that Dick and Barack Obama are eighth cousins. Is that an amazing thing? If you go back eight generations, we have a common ancestor.

She intentionally said this. The question was in regards to Hillary being president, not Obama. She claimed she had a "certain bias" and then stated she didn't mean it as a vote for Obama. So where's the bias? She clearly went into this interview with full intent to slip it in. I can already hear people concocting outrages connections or agendas between the two. This isn't news, it's a distraction.

Wow. And if you go back just two generations, the Prescott Bush supported the Nazis. Did we hold that against Incurious George? No. So Obama is off the hook for being related to Darth Vader.
