- MaximusIGN, on 10/15/2007, -12/+146Joe Lieberman, Senator for the state of Israel....
- EclipseGSX, on 10/12/2007, -4/+71I can't believe this Senator Palpatine looking douchebag is representing my home state. If only voters knew exactly what they were getting into when they elected him over Lamont, rather than just voting on a name that they most easily recognized on the ballot.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+49Clueless Joe, showing the world why he was laughed out of the Democratic party.
Notice the GOP has not been eager claim him, despite his work in carrying water for them. - hiphoc, on 10/12/2007, -5/+43Joe Lieberan, Senator from Hell
- iamorlando, on 10/15/2007, -1/+36Joe Lieberman, representative of a bunch of americans....
I know you guys don't want to hear it but americans should start feeling responsible for who they elect, only then will this problem be averted in the future. And the way things are going in the polls, the next president that americans elect will still be a war mongerer with a rampant disregard for human rights and civil liberties. - enlightenme, on 10/15/2007, -7/+41How convenient, they put a jew in charge of overseeing the massacre of arabs.
Bush is an evil genius. - inactive, on 10/29/2007, -6/+37Joe Lieberman is a right wing extremist & a good friend of Bush/Cheney (literally). I remember when Bush grabbed Lieberman face & gave him a big sloppy kiss!
- inactive, on 10/15/2007, -2/+27Evil always offers immunity; otherwise how could they persuade loyal employees into treasonable crimes?
- inactive, on 10/15/2007, -6/+28Lieberman is such a piece of *****, biggest traitor to our country since... well, since Bush, Cheney got elected not once but twice! Off with their heads, down with terrorist pigs, they gotta go. Say NO to JOE in 2010 or whenever his term is up.
- WaterDragon, on 10/11/2007, -3/+23What did you expect from that prick? That is like expecting McDonalds to investigate the amount of prions in the beef supply.
- conrail, on 10/12/2007, -2/+21How could you not have seen this? Seriously.
- Waiting2awake, on 10/12/2007, -4/+21Of course there just might be reasons for those comparisons as well though.... right?
- MrVictor, on 10/12/2007, -2/+18Think, McFly! Think! You don't evaluate a politician on what they say they will do (they lie). You evaluate them on what they have done in the past and what their driving interests are.
- Waiting2awake, on 10/12/2007, -3/+17No need. It is like calling water wet.
- DocHoliday22, on 10/15/2007, -3/+16US Government is a corrupt enterprise.
- hiphoc, on 10/12/2007, -3/+16And how many Iraqis have to die for something Bin Laden supposedly did? How many? We are close to 1,000,000 dead now. How many children and mothers dying is equal to 1 American dead? 5 to 1? 10 to 1? Well right now we are at about 300 Iraqis dead for 1 American on 9/11. I mean, the Supreme Court said that African slaves were only 2/3rds of a human being. So are Iraqi's only worth 1/300th of a human? Who gave you the right to judge how lives are valued. I hope you say the same thing when draft cards start flying out in the mail.
- Ummagumma, on 10/15/2007, -1/+12So Lieberman ***** in his pants in the 90's holding all kinds of congressional hearings attempting to expose the horrors of videogame violence, eventually resulting in the self-regulating ESRB ratings system, and now refuses to do anything about a bunch of gun-crazy cowboy mercenaries shooting up Iraqi civilians while operating outside of any law and under the auspices of the U.S. government.
Nice. Way to set your priorities, dumbass! - toppgun, on 10/12/2007, -4/+15As a CT resident, I am sorry we elected him. I didnt realize at that time that his version of independent = neocon republican.
- hiphoc, on 10/12/2007, -8/+19I wish people would look into history and see how many Jews supported Hitler. They did it because they figured a little blood shed so they can set up Israel is a win win for all. Thats what Zionism is folks. Its not racism, its just an ideology like Neocon.
- walkingdogs, on 10/11/2007, -1/+12Which is exactly why they won't investigate Blackwater. We torture, don't recognize Habeas Corpus, embroiled in an illegal war, are friends with terrorist supporting countries and illegally wiretap our own citizens. So why would the government investigate one of their henchmen. It would be the pot calling the kettle black.
- jamie06260, on 10/14/2007, -5/+15Joseph Lieberman, Senator for the predominantly LIBERAL, ANTI-WAR, state of Connecticut. I urge you all, before you go and say "oh well you elected the guy..." to understand this:
Joseph Lieberman ran as an independent because CT Democrats did not want him. He ran on the premise that he would vote along Democratic party lines. What has he done? He was sided with BUSH on just about every major issue.
I am honestly embarrassed to have him representing my state. - lejovchina, on 10/12/2007, -3/+13Ĩs there any fundamental difference between Alfred Rosenberg (the leading nazi ideologist) and Theodor Herzl, between Rumsfeld (the nazi) and Lierberman (the nazionist)?
- TwoDeuces, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11Anyone else find it ironic that the biggest government oversite is having Joe "Lie"berman chair of a Government Oversite Commity?
- cloudyprison, on 10/12/2007, -4/+13Joe Lieberman, Senator for the state of NWO.
- PATSCRU, on 10/11/2007, -5/+14From now on, any submission about some ***** move that lieberman makes is now to be titled "the sky is blue".
- T8erT0T, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10Maybe I would have a few years ago, now I've grown accustom to the 1984 position titles and their opposite roles. Joe is definitely walking away with some huge Blackwater payoff money.
- sjaskow, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Bzzt, Senate terms are 6 years. Lieberman isn't up for reelection until 2012.
- bowens44, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8A much better idea would be to investigate the relationship between the bush administration and blackwater. The Iraqi government is nothing but a US puppet. Blackwater was used by the administration to commit acts that it knew to be illegal. This is about doing away with accountability about having the option to shift the blame for atrocities. . You can be absolutely certain that the immunity was put in place by the US, not the Iraqis. Leveling the play field as you call it , by bringing the US down to the level of of terrorists is not a valid US of our tax dollars. The House has passed legislation to end this immunity. Let's see if the republicans block this in the Senate or if bush vetoes it.
- Chubarama, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8I know I've said it before but this makes me ashamed to live in Connecticut. How fortunate I am to have media online that actually attempts to hold people like Lieberman accountable for his actions, because the local newspapers and TV stations sure don't. Unless it's an election year they don't give two craps about covering what our senators are doing, and as a result the entire nation suffers because of Connecticut's ignorance. Disgusting.
- pintomp3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7there are also a lot of jews, even in israel, who speak out against israel's treatment of the palestinians. there are a lot of christians here who want to bomb arabs. my point is a person's faith isn't the sole factor in view on foreign policy.
- pintomp3, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9all the AIPAC money probably helped too.
- MrVictor, on 10/12/2007, -4/+11I'm appalled! You must be an anti-semite to say such a thing! /sarcasm
- TwoDeuces, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7DING! We have a winner!
- Bobodante, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7It's probably difficult to move at all, let alone raise an investigation, what with that gigantic Publisher's Clearinghouse size check sticking out of his back pocket. Yes, Joe, you just won $10 million from the Blackwater Clearinghouse Sweep(under the carpet)stakes.
- fuzzmeister, on 10/11/2007, -2/+7First, I have a feeling that someone who likes war as much as Lieberman isn't exactly a devout Jew, no matter what he says. Also, Arabs != Muslims.
- drewdotfreels, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Don't get me wrong, I don't care for his views personally but a Department of Justice directed FBI investigation is underway now and they are technically the ones who can get to the bottom of it without being hampered as much by political bias. Also, the House just passed a Bill making contractors accountable under US law for their actions. Yes, this Bill should have already been in place but as you can see, the appropriate people ARE investigating this and Lieberman's decision is basically mute.
- Murdats, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8women hating nerds?
dont compare the rest of us netdwellers with yourself, just because you are on the net and hate women doesnt mean we all do. - TwoDeuces, on 10/11/2007, -2/+7Dude, they aren't dying for Bin Laden, they're dying for being weaker than us and for hording all that damn oil. If they would just abandon their homes, their religion, their way of life and move to somewhere with 0 natural resources then we wouldn't have to exterminate them. They just twist our fricking arms! It's obviously their fault for being in our righteous path of exterminating all the tyrants that use oil money to buy medicine and food and infrastructure and defense for preserving their way of life. Its not rocket science!
- davmattucci, on 10/11/2007, -2/+7How is this news to anyone? Joe Leiberman is a piece of ***** and come re-election time, he'll be on his ass... he's everything that's wrong with this country and our "democracy."
- shadomynd, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6I saved your post just now, as a reminder.
- Waiting2awake, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5If that is/was the case, then that should only underline why he(and them) are so freaking dangerous, and have to be removed.
- DocHoliday22, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6Most governments are corrupt, however most of them don't go to war, murder, rape, torture, spy, threaten under false pretenses whilst telling their citizens it's for "their freedom". Like Clint Eastwood says; "Don't piss on my back and tell me it's raining".
- mikeyeah, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6No surprise there. Lieberman is a filthy ***** scumbag.
- ruyen, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Gore did win. Bush wasn't elected, he was selected by the courts. Thousands of votes were suppressed in Florida from democratic voters by the Jeb and Kathryn Harris crew.
- madfrogurt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Read "License to Kill" by Pelton. It is a good overview of how Blackwater came to be and the evolution of private defense contractors in the War on Terror. It shows how some firms are basically just polished mercenary companies (Aegis specifically), while other firms have been built to act only as defensive guards and escorts. Interesting read.
- scottknick, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5After '08, when the Democrats have a larger majority in the Senate and no longer have to suck up to Joe-mentum, he'll be lucky to be chairman of the Cloak Room.
- gropo, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4But seriously, he's not a member of the majority party in the Senate. Why is he chairing *anything?* Democratic fears of defection. Uh, pretty much already defected guys. Please strip this doucheface of all Democratic chair positions.
- clothmonkey, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3So who was using that car they shot up as cover? Or the other people they killed?
- MacSuxWindozSux, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3There is a place in Israel called Hell.
Where Romans used to dump bodies. -
