- jackelsmack, on 10/12/2007, -4/+16Lieberman: "I fear that this resolution [to withdraw troops from Iraq]…will encourage the enemy."
1) Since when did we start determining our foreign policy based on what some bearded goat-herding Islamist douche-bags think? Making a bunch of third-worlders THINK we're winning the occupation is now a reason for sending our men to be injured and killed?
2) Just for the hell of it, let's take it from an insurgent's POV. "I'm so pissed about this occupation I'm willing to risk (or deliberately sacrifice) my life to fight US troops" [Reads that the US Congress has mandated the withdrawal of troops in 9 months] "Well *****, guess this battle's already over. My life would be better spent fighting the Shiite militias."
So my question for the Liebermanites who love to throw around this argument like candy at a parade is: Are Americans fighting and dying A) to save face? or B) so the Iranian-backed Shiite militias don't have to? - flernk, on 10/12/2007, -3/+12Of course, Boehner would like us to forget that he regularly contributes RedState.com. Boehner is a hypocrite and Lieberman is a liar of the first order.
In their little green world, right-wing blogs, talk radio hosts, and cable news outlets are just presenting a "fair and balanced" perspective. But anything critical of their warmongering politics is suddenly "toxic."
These men make me sick. - littlebylittle, on 10/12/2007, -5/+11Lieberman himself add a dimension of Toxicity to Politics.
- GlobalistShill, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Lieberman's a douche.
- littlebylittle, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9Senator Mike Gravel Nailed it in the Democratic Debates:
"We are mischaracterizing terrorism. Terrorism has been with civilization from the beginning. And it will be there to the end.
We're going to be as successful fighting terrorism as we are fighting drugs with a war. It doesn't work. What you have to do is to begin to change the whole foreign policy."
Smartest thing I've heard a politician say in years.

- pawchikapawpaw, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6i hope you are a girl or a cat lover, for declaring that you have a hurting pussy.
- mikelieman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Very many Jews are disgusted with Lieberman's dishonesty when he SAYS he's observant of the Sabbath, and it's requirements, BUT...
When push comes to shove, he's more obedient to his Political Masters, and will go in and cast votes on Sabbath if so ordered.
Who really cares what someone with that little credibility says? - laserblazer, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7Lieberman is a *****-for-brains George Bush ass-lamprey.
- TSCheredar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Lieberman: A poorman's Republican

- Dumbledorito, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Whenever a sound byte of his sneaks onto the radio, I usually catch myself thinking I'm hearing Doctor Zoidberg.
- Keach, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5Does Lieberman have any Top Teeth? Because in 7 years of seeing him on TV, I've never seen them. All you see when he talks are his nasty bottom teeth.
- EntropyMan, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Many Jews are disgusted with Lieberman--period. Hawks like Lieberman have taken over in Israel as well as here, and Israel had its own Iraq-like debacle recently.
I think the difference with most of Israel and even here is that we're ready to denounce those who stand in the way of peace on principle, even if they are Jews. Olmert has some 3% popularity there -- how he remains in power is a crime in and of itself.
Contrast that with how many people in America are willing to vote for a would-be-king just because he promises to vote their way on one issue. 28% would support this President if he promised to kill all Muslims, as long as he promised to save all fetuses too. - EntropyMan, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Or, a poor Republican's man.
- Dumbledorito, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2"George Bush Ass-Lamprey" would make a great name for a rock band.
- Idgit, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Everytime I see Lieberman i read Linderman instead.
- EntropyMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1No one deserves him. And he's not Pro-Israel once you realize that most Israelis want peace. Neocons are the problem here and over there.

- pawchikapawpaw, on 10/12/2007, -12/+6*****, after being blackfaced and called a baby-eating j-o-o by the klassy liberals and democrats on various blogs (hey, on digg too!), would you blame him for seeking civility in political discourse?
besides, it's not like it's the mccain-feingold bill that oddly enough is more damaging to political discourse and the free speech that this silly political stunt that will NEVER see a bill named after, or even a law.
oh. i see. that dirty dirty jew needs to know his place among the tahlerant liberals here. dirty jew with independent thoughts. can't have that, no sir. blackface that son of a bitch, quick.
oh and lamonties? SUCK IT. - Prysorra, on 10/12/2007, -9/+2Dear Digg. That ^^ was sarcasm. It's OK to agree.
