Before these last two primaries, there was still at least an arguable if still convoluted chance she could pull a victory out of her ass. Had she won with a 10 or 15 point margin in Indiana, and did better than losing by 14 points in North Carolina, she would have had enough delegates to pull some shenanigans at the DNC convention in Denver.
Nobody in the media wants to risk their livelihood attacking a vindictive and vengeful person who might have even a long-shot of becoming president.
The fact that people feel free to make jokes like this, or to basically get on news programs announcing that her candidacy is all but over just proves that it is all but over. She is the only one keeping it going at this point, in spite of the facts and in spite of reality.
If she had a chance, they would never risk her ire, for fear that by some miracle she actually became president.

I grew up in Hawaii, about the same time in the 70's that Obama was there. I was just in Elementary School, while he was attending Punahou.
I can tell you, Punahou wasn't an affirmative action school. In fact, it was the exact opposite. The majority of students had to have at least 1/8th Hawaiian blood in order to attend. If you were any degree Hawaiian, by blood, you had an automatic appointment to that school, at least in the time I lived there from 1974 to 1980, with a 100% scholarship. If Obama got into that school they had to have wanted him because of his IQ score and his grades and his parent's (or guardian's) involvement in his education.
I went to a DOD school on Schofield Barracks, and I knew of about 3 students from my school of 3,000 who were pegged to go to Punahoe, if their parents would stay in Hawaii to allow their child to attend Punahoe. One family actually did that, the father retired at 10 years in the Army, stayed in Wahiawa, and sent his gifted child to Punahoe.
There was no skin color qualification. A Career Army Officer chose to get only 20% of his army pay as retirement, instead of 50%, in order to send his kid to Punahoe. This school was prejudiced towards Hawaiians. No other skin color mattered, everyone who was not at least 1/8th Hawaiian had to compete against the favored Hawaiians.

Guam, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, American Somoa, Democrats abroad primary, District of Columbia.
At least there is some math for that one. Saying you got shot at by snipers when in fact a little bosnian school girl hands you flowers, well that's an outright lie.
