- Pritchard, on 04/30/2008, -1/+17I can't wait to get this book. It's been in my shopping cart for a while on Amazon. Dirt poor though. I'm glad Ron Paul's released this book. This isn't just a 4 year revolution. It's a life time of work, and it is the citizen's responsibility to keep the government and their nation in check. Never give up. Keep on going strong right through to the end.
- Parapadrifter, on 04/30/2008, -1/+14I wonder if it'd be better to get it at a bookstore. Freedom Under Siege (1987) is also in my future purchases.
- AustinMandi, on 04/30/2008, -1/+13I received mine a few days ago and you won't be disappointed! Succinct yet full of info, his style is laid back and easy to understand. This is especially great for those new to the Ron Paul philosophy. He explains complex theories in such a way that any layman could comprehend. You need this book!

- nlurker, on 04/30/2008, -1/+10Freedom Under Siege (1987) is available for free download. See http://drronpaul2008.blogspot.com/2008/01/free-boo ...
- inactive, on 04/30/2008, -1/+9When Hillary steals the nomination from Obama, his supporters should get revenge for Operation Chaos by taking over the GOP and nominating Ron Paul.
- rmtatum, on 05/01/2008, -0/+6I downloaded it and read it last year. It's quite an amazing book.
- stealthc, on 04/30/2008, -2/+6It is the concept of socialism which has true disregard for the well-being of others. It is the practice of using force and violence (government) because you think that either you or your favorite groups are entitled to the fruits of other people's labor. No matter what the American groupthink tells you, force is not charity. Only through respect for private property can genuine charity take root. When was the last time you volunteered at a soup kitchen? The last time you donated to house or clothe the homeless? Oh, that's right, you don't have to. The government is doing it for you. Or at least that's what they claim, and you're taking their word for it. Aren't you just a wonderful person.
- migcmc03, on 05/04/2008, -0/+3Ron Paul has well thought out arguments with excellent points. No wonder people were unwilling to debate with him, amazing! I'm reading the book, solid material. Troops in 130 countries, WOW!
- Digger1218, on 05/05/2008, -0/+1Thats the point, nobody "owes" anybody. Charity should take place, just outside the realm of government.
- katie212, on 05/01/2008, -2/+3Not everyone is a trotskyite socialist and believes in the Joseph Stalin agenda . Forced extortion of people doesnot make for "peace". Taking away from one citizen who works hard to forcefully make them give to others who maynot work as hard or at all and maynot even be a "Legal" citizen is your chosen government of "Socialism". It isn't ours......Understand now Florence Nightingale? You be mother Teresa, I CHOOSE to give to whomever I CHOOSE to and Not to whom my socialist neocon trotskyite government Extorts me to give to. I donate to my church and our community takes care of our local people ....LOCALLY...Ya see how that works and was meant to work? Can you even grasp this constitutional concept of individual freedom or have you been undereducated by our dummied down sociallist federal government funded school system too? Sounds like it most of the time when I read any of your idiotic Sh%&T for Brains ....trash.
- ncurses, on 05/01/2008, -5/+2See, another perfect example of why this is not so much a valid political position as it is someone's attempt to convince himself that he does not owe anyone anything. It's a little sickening.
- ncurses, on 04/30/2008, -6/+1See, that's what I'm talking about, you need to rethink your whole philosophy. It's just the rantings of someone who simply does not care about other people, or someone who thinks he doesn't owe anything to anyone or something.
- ncurses, on 04/30/2008, -8/+2You guys really are wrong in the head.
I don't mean that you disagree with me politically, I mean that your philosophy is based on a complete disregard for others' well-being.
