- inactive, on 10/23/2008, -3/+81"Black man doin his thing baby!!....Barack Obama Mother *****, BARACK OBAMA....I'm the president of hittin that ass"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mi_c6D8SPcE - Doodleb179, on 10/23/2008, -13/+89I've started censoring my news too. If I catch a glimpse of a pro-McCain headline, I turn away as quickly as possible and pretend like I had just hallucinated for a second. "No, there is no way there is a pro-McCain article out there!"
- greenleaflink, on 10/23/2008, -2/+61LOL long ball larry, lol.
I am glad he is doing a season 7!! YAY!
so regardless of who wins, at least something nice to look forward to in the future.
:) - wonderlandpr, on 10/23/2008, -5/+61Phenominally funny because, for so many of us, it is so true. Larry David puts a mirror to the Obama supporter...and we see ourselves in him.
Hilariousness cum laude. - OrdinaryPanda, on 10/22/2008, -13/+65FTA:
"Assuming November 4th ever comes, my big decision won't be where I'll be watching the returns, but if I'll be watching. I believe I have big jinx potential and may have actually cost the Dems the last two elections. I know I've jinxed sporting events. When my teams are losing and I want them to make a comeback, all I have to do is leave the room. Works every time." - openingsound, on 10/23/2008, -0/+50its pretty, pretty pretty good.
- BrianClio, on 10/23/2008, -4/+52He hit the nail right on the damn head...as usual.
- WiretapStudios, on 10/23/2008, -2/+42Pretty pretty good.
- harronoob, on 10/23/2008, -2/+35Get in that ass Larry.
- FaceCage, on 10/23/2008, -20/+39This is weird coming from a guy who is a racist. Not only did he never cast any black characters in Seinfeld, but he owned a racist dog. He once told a whole table of black people to shut up in a restaurant. Also, he fired his electronics guy, guess what, he was black.
There's this whole documentary series on this guy, they follow him around with cameras. It's on HBO, seriously. - username7410, on 10/23/2008, -2/+21"I just couldn't watch without saying anything, and my running commentary, which mostly consisted of "Shut up, you prick!" or "You're a ***** liar!!!" or "Go to hell, you *****!" was way too distracting for the attendees, and finally I was asked to leave."
Larry David is my hero. - Matic, on 10/23/2008, -2/+21Larry David writes like he talks. Awesome.
- SiliconRain, on 10/23/2008, -0/+17Absolutely - I feel exactly the same way and I'm not even living in America.
At the last general election in the UK, I remember thinking 'if the conservatives win, I'm leaving the country...'. But there's no getting away from the US president... If McCain gets in, the whole world is stuck with him for 4 years or more. - nickels, on 10/23/2008, -3/+18Forget Nov 4th - I can't wait for the next season of Curb!
BTW - The last season should have been the end, as the final scene was gold. There is no topping it. That was the way to go out, as I never laughed so hard. It was clever, unexpected, and wrapped up the show nicely. If he can top that, then he deserves the title of comedy king. - poxonyou, on 10/23/2008, -1/+16Also FTA: "Sit down or get out!" my host demanded. "Okay," I said, and took a seat, but I was more fidgety than a ten-year-old at temple. I just couldn't watch without saying anything, and my running commentary, which mostly consisted of "Shut up, you prick!" or "You're a ***** liar!!!" or "Go to hell, you *****!" was way too distracting for the attendees, and finally I was asked to leave.
Hahaha. The great part of reading his articles/rants is they sound just like you'd expect from him based on CYE. - phbohn2, on 10/23/2008, -10/+23it's a good thing digg already censors our news for us.
- SuperVepr308, on 10/23/2008, -2/+14How does a pro-McCain headline effect your voting?
- Adgeman, on 10/23/2008, -1/+12A christ nail?
- feliks2, on 10/23/2008, -3/+14How do you know he didn't just re-type it?
- quimbymouse, on 10/23/2008, -3/+14oh yes thank you so much. this is the best news ive seen in months. bless you mr david.
- rickremixx, on 10/23/2008, -1/+11Curb your Enthusiasm. is the best show on h.b.o.
- barfooz, on 10/23/2008, -1/+10Sure you will.
- phbohn2, on 10/23/2008, -0/+9for some reason i thought the last episode of season 5 was the last episode ever...seeing as it was called "the end" and he died.
- rossnyc, on 10/23/2008, -4/+13FTA: "This election is having the same effect on me as marijuana. All of my worst qualities have been exacerbated. I'm paranoid, obsessive, nervous, and totally mental. It's one long, intense, bad trip. I need to come down. Soon."
Ha. Great quote and so true to me. - Wintergreen0803, on 10/23/2008, -2/+10It's nice to know I'm not alone. I've been dreaming about electoral maps for at least a week now.
- mikbunn, on 10/23/2008, -6/+13Now that's what I call trolling!
- markusfarkus, on 10/23/2008, -0/+7I think from his point of view, he's already made up his mind. And he disagrees with the other side so vehemently that it just causes him distress to see and hear them. I'm sure there are lots of people on both sides that feel this way and the next 2 weeks are just a waiting game for them. If the number of people voting at my local library this morning is any indication, a lot of people feel this way.
- ogbar, on 10/23/2008, -0/+7Where the hell are you coming across pro McCain headlines?
- susan56, on 10/23/2008, -6/+13I have censored my news outlets and the amount of time I watch. Not so with the blogs - maybe reading has a calming effect? Roll on night of November 4 and please God [if you are there] allow for an Obama victory.
- SuperDaveOz, on 10/23/2008, -0/+7That is what a lot of famous people said before the last election. I really doubt you will.
- inactive, on 10/23/2008, -2/+9the sentiments about being in a democratic racist country over a non-democratic non-racist one speaks magnitudes of what people with intelligent thought, free of implanted fear (not to be confused with legitimate, healthy fear) have been thinking but haven't put into words yet. not like that, anyway. david and colbert are my all-time non-sexual man-crushes and i'm proud of it..
- cire55, on 10/23/2008, -4/+10I love his HBO show even though his character sometimes is so annoying that it makes me uncomfortable (I know that’s the idea). His satire is usually brilliant; this article is spot on proof of his great mind.
- rald84, on 10/23/2008, -2/+8"Hilariousness cum laude."
thats what she said - AtraNoxVII, on 10/23/2008, -1/+7"If I didn't kill myself when I became impotent for two months in 1979, I'm certainly not going to do it if McCain and Palin are elected."
I'm more interested in knowing how he became impotent for 2 months than I am the article itself. - CrudOMatic, on 10/23/2008, -1/+7Jew propaganda?
I didn't see ANY propaganda at all. Maybe, you know, you should actually READ something before you dismiss it as propaganda.
Moron. - machocheese34, on 10/23/2008, -0/+6We need more Leon
- bluidevil00, on 10/23/2008, -1/+7Fantastic! LD channels the eccentricity of America so well... or maybe he just captures a voice comfortably akin to the ones in my head!
- athinnes, on 10/01/2009, -1/+6I think you are missing the point.
Is this supposed to be fair? Were you looking for Larry David to do a fair report on the two candidates? Is Larry David the type of source you would like to get your election information from? The article is titled "Waiting for Nov. 4th" and is about a Obama supporter waiting for election day. Not David's breakdown of the candidates and why Obama is better than McCain. He is obviously a Obama supporter and anybody who has had to wait for something of major importance can relate. So all of this makes him a left wing loon. I'm guessing that anybody with a different opinion than your own is a "loon". - Jackson0909, on 10/23/2008, -0/+5Obviously you aren't as grammar-knowledgeable as you claim to be, SuperVepr. See if you can find the error in your post.
- Tegurit34, on 10/23/2008, -0/+5Apparently this subthread didn't get the reference. Bravo, FaceCage.
- ryan850, on 10/23/2008, -0/+5***** + ***** = Twice the ***** not Truth
Just listen to the candidates and what they do, whichever you agree with the most vote for them. and don't forget to sharpen your critical thinking skills.
That way if you see a McCain mailer that says Terrorist on one side and a picture of Obama on the other with the words "Not Who You Think He Is" you can join me in the corner gently sobbing for our country. (with the occasion fit of rage and incoherent mumbling). - eatsushi, on 10/23/2008, -5/+10Well, put it this way, if McCain wins, I'm selling my ***** and starting a new life outside of the US.
- sedawk, on 10/23/2008, -1/+6"you can copy and paste. congrats!"
Yah -- but he did it on his iPhone! - samirms, on 10/23/2008, -2/+7God I miss Curb your Enthusiasm.
- thelif, on 10/23/2008, -3/+8I also enjoy how the only way McCain can lose is ACORN or "liberal media bias" or ???
- bigfatphony19, on 10/23/2008, -1/+6Leave a few snickers wrappers and *****
- phosphite, on 10/23/2008, -1/+6Where have you been in the last 8 years since the Republicans have been destroying your country?
Usually when something hurts, you stop doing it. - username7410, on 10/23/2008, -4/+8Yeah, but McCain and Palin IS cancer.
- ogbar, on 10/23/2008, -0/+4Never Listen to a candidate... they are all full of BS.
Examine how and why they've voted or have done things in the past. -
