- AHIGHERGOD, on 10/24/2007, -10/+314Stop thinking and DO IT!
- swrostmore, on 10/10/2007, -4/+199$250 to the Kucinich campaign the second he does this.
- mgris, on 10/10/2007, -4/+96Do it, Dennis. We must stop this Iran war and these warmongers from further ruining our country. Impeach Cheney, stop the warmongers.
Force the vote and at least make the current crop of spineless politicians put their votes on record for history. - LucidOne, on 10/10/2007, -5/+90Just do it!!
- senorcool, on 10/10/2007, -1/+83The articles of impeachment have already been written...what is he waiting for???
- ChristPissed, on 10/20/2007, -11/+85B-B-But, If it was good enough for President Clinton, then its damn well good enough for Vice President Vader.
- anamericangod, on 10/10/2007, -5/+63I find it offensive we impeached a president over getting his ***** sucked, but for some reason Congress doesn't give a ***** about killing thousands of people and spending billions of dollars.
I fear this country is lost. - youMISERABLEpos, on 10/10/2007, -6/+62Finally, a real AMERICAN PATRIOT!!! Do it Dennis.. for the sake of the country, and for the future of all our children.. DO IT!
DUGG!! - Mentosan, on 10/10/2007, -3/+55YOU CAN DO IT!!
- Innova69, on 10/10/2007, -1/+52PayPal for senators... People buying the politicians, rather than the corporations..... An interesting idea indeed.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -4/+54i'll match you. If you actually follows through.
- JoshuaGross, on 10/10/2007, -2/+49DO IT ALREADY! We've been waiting for what, 3 years?
- kingcam, on 10/10/2007, -1/+42Good, I hope he does this. Kucinich doesn't get enough respect, his has the best platforms out of any in the democratic field and this could, possibly, increase his chances in getting the nomination.
- thewump, on 10/10/2007, -5/+40Come somebody please do something or I will move to a country where "the people" have some input in how it is run.. one of those "democracy" thingys.
- lukifer, on 10/10/2007, -2/+36Kucinich is also in favor of a new 9/11 investigation. Anyone who believes that every politician is bought and sold should like at Dennis's track record. He and RP are the only candidates who have been consistently anti-war from the very beginning.
And if he somehow pulls off impeachment, you can bet for damn sure that he *will* get the Democratic nomination. - glasnostic, on 10/10/2007, -3/+36Oh man.. I think you might be on to something.. Is there any way to set up a pay pal or something so people can pledge money to his campaign but only pay when he goes through with his threat?
- Innova69, on 10/10/2007, -5/+36Stop thinking and stat acting!
These sociopaths aren't going to wait for congress to make up ther minds on which way they're going to lean today before they march on Iran. Where has the backbone of these guys gone to?
Somebody please throw Mrs. worthless Pelosi down a well, and then maybe somebody with balls a micron larger than the marble[less] rest of nervous wimpering stooges can put their money where their mouth is.
Writing to [TN] senators is absolutely useless, as I have done so so many times before, only to get the same response from both sides of the fence; "blah, blah, blah, I really don't have the courage to stand up for you my voters, so I am just going to do what everyone else is and just keep voting on the party lines, we wouldn't want to anger anyone here who might dig up dirt on us for payback."
I call for a vote of No Confidence, for the whole lot. - offspring06, on 10/10/2007, -2/+28Do it Dennis.
- Duncan3, on 10/10/2007, -5/+29Stop saying "DO IT" on here, and write or call HIM about it. ... Damn web2.0 bloggin bunch of morons.
- FaraFiro, on 10/10/2007, -4/+27YOU TALK THE TALK...
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+24OK here is how we do it. I can set up an actblue page for Kucinich like this one
http://www.actblue.com/entity/fundraisers/12518
And name it whatever I want. I will figure that out later. And then I will create a blog or something advertising the page I created and have it state that if Kucinich calls a privileged resolution on impeachment of the vice president and forcing a vote on the floor of the House, then show your support by donating to his campaign here (being the actblue page)
What do you think? - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -3/+25loser
- daeyeth, on 10/10/2007, -9/+30I dunno, I have a feeling that that's a large part of the reason he's doing this. Attention, publicity, votes. I'm all for it, don't get me wrong....but I don't want to hear this "seriously considering" ***** that I've been hearing all year
- TruthStandsOut, on 10/10/2007, -0/+21We have to contact Kucinich & let him know how many Americans want this!!
Contact him at info@dennis4president.com or 1 (877) 41-DENNIS (from his campaign website)
He just may follow through if he gets enthusiastic support from a whole lot of people sick of this administration's war crimes! - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+20Clinton was acquitted. Remember?
- Jareth86, on 10/10/2007, -7/+27"seriously thinking" means nothing to them! Do it, you shmuck!
- art42, on 10/10/2007, -2/+19Bu$H CO is NOT going to appoint Ghouliani.
Impeachment is NOT about party, it's about The Constitution. - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+17As opposed to the rest of Congress, sitting there, knowing that it's illegal to invade other countries for no reason but too yellow to actually do anything about it.
***** that. I'll take a symbolic gesture over silent, tacit approval of war crimes. - ISIfunded911, on 10/10/2007, -0/+16Kucinich voted against the war from the start, he voted against the Patriot Act, he has an impressive track record of fighting corporations. You should have googled about him for years but you did not, like most people, who are too lazy. As a result, you insult him and people digg you. People should do their homework before judging others. Especially before judging one of the most honest and admirable men in America. If he tells that he is seriously considering doing it, it is to get as much support as possible before doing it. He is much more intelligent than you think. Don't forget what happened to MoveOn a few days ago: the vast majority of Congress voted to condemn their General BetrayUs campaign. Kucinich knows that if he does not get a lot of popular support, if you do not call your congresspeople now, it is not worth forcing the vote to impeach Cheney. Kucinich is very much alone now. Although he is the best. Every American should be ashamed today: Kucinich deserves to be the most popular politician, but he is a lone hero.
- syroncoda, on 10/10/2007, -3/+19DO IT! *****! what else has to happen before people will wake up?
- whorelock, on 10/10/2007, -1/+17Even if does force it I doubt the Democrats have the spine to carry it out.
- SuperMoses, on 10/10/2007, -1/+16Let me guess, they're gonna do it when it doesn't matter anymore, like before elections.
- rald84, on 10/10/2007, -2/+15a good idea, but its bribing a govt official. some woman with a pro-abortion group wrote something similar to a state rep and got arrested and convicted.
now if you're a lobbyist, its just business as usual ... - 16x9, on 10/10/2007, -0/+13socialism?
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+13Conyers can block a vote on this, but the Democrats can't stop from voting more cash to Haliburton every time it comes up? WTF?
- lasenorita, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12I guess manipulating the people into a war that will bankrupt the nation and cost thousands of lives isn't a serious enough offense. The half-truths that were uttered weren't under oath so those don't count. Never mind that we're supposed to hold those we trusted with the highest authority to be held accountable for their actions.
"History will look kindly upon us" ...or so they claim. - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+13And you still can't remember that Clinton was not guilty.
- thegreathal, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12I'm in his Headquarters right now, as Director of Campus Outreach.
I WISH he did this for the internet crowd! Ha, I'm desperately explaining what Digg is to the staff. If you look, this is an offhand comment he made earlier in the week--but an absolutely true one. Not calculated for political impact, just his duties in Congress. - pradador, on 10/10/2007, -7/+19I'm seriously thinking about losing weight this year. I swear, I think I'll start tomorrow. Or nah, I'll wait till Monday, that's a good day to start. Meanwhile, I'll binge a bit since I won't be able to eat junk food come Monday.
- sheridbm, on 10/10/2007, -5/+16Withholding my digg until he walks the walk.
- jeffchuck, on 10/10/2007, -1/+12Does anybody have an email address for Dennis? All I can find is the "Write Your Representative" page on the house web site, and I don't want to lie and say I'm from Ohio.
- Darksidevoid, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11I think it's an excellent idea. Go for it! :-)
- DiggMasterJ, on 10/10/2007, -1/+12I'll donate to a fund to get him to do it. But I'm not smart enough to set one up. One of you do it! I pledge $200.
- TruthStandsOut, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11Contact Dennis Kucinich at info (at) dennis4president.com or 1 (877) 41-DENNIS to show your support. He just may follow through if he gets enthusiastic support from a whole lot of people sick of this administration's war crimes!
That contact info was at his campaign website. - art42, on 10/10/2007, -1/+12Nice to see you constructively adding to the debate again. /sarcasm
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11I would say it is represents a person who has principles.
- inactive, on 10/20/2007, -3/+14Right wingers think the word "socialism" is scary.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10Look, if you want to vote Republican, just vote Republican. If you want to change the staus quo in Washington, vote for Dennis Kucinich. The only thing in the middle of the road is a yellow stripe and dead skunks.
- TruthStandsOut, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10Would you rather spend another $100 billion for Iraq war funds, again & again, plus MORE war funds when we invade Iran... and even risk an all-out nuclear war??
I'd rather spend our taxpayer dollars trying to get rid of these war criminals! - Jadinlee, on 10/10/2007, -2/+12Do it and you have my vote! I'll even make a campaign donation!
