- MikaelMN, on 07/10/2008, -9/+120Are pigs about to fly? Pelosi woke up this morning with a spine?
- Savor, on 07/11/2008, -12/+93Kucinich is easily my favourite magical woodland creature.
- TheLastProphet, on 07/10/2008, -12/+85string these muther uckers up
- regression, on 07/11/2008, -2/+64It's all a game people. She is doing this as a sort of appeasement for the FISA debacle. No impeachment will ever happen, get over it. Congress doesn't give a *****. They're criminals, and they're writing the laws. To paraphrase George Carlin, these rich *****'s don't give a ***** about you.
- Jebra, on 07/11/2008, -7/+64Too bad the media is more interested in Miley Cyrus than the crimes going on in the government.
- Lomstradamus, on 07/10/2008, -6/+48I wont be holding my breath. Pelosi is not to be trusted.
- McShr3dd3r, on 07/11/2008, -4/+43Kucinich for VeeP '08
Lets bring some honesty back to the White House! - inactive, on 07/11/2008, -8/+31can we have a Saddam style cell phone video of bush's hanging?
- v2plus15, on 07/11/2008, -0/+22A 9% approval rating must not be low enough for congress.
- jeb4, on 07/10/2008, -8/+29I'm just teeming to see this man, among others, brought to justice. If not I may lose whatever faith in due process that I have left. Here I come Sweden!!!
- mrsteveman1, on 07/11/2008, -0/+18As opposed to the rest of congress doing nothing at all?
- InetRoadkill, on 07/11/2008, -0/+17The only reason Pelosi is even hinting at allowing an impeachment hearing to proceed is because she and most of the democrats stepped in a big pile of ***** with FISA. Now they're having to throw the angry villagers a bone.
But don't be fooled. They'll do a dog and pony show before the August congressional recess to draw attention away from the FISA outrage and then go on vacation hoping the whole thing will be forgotten by the time they come back. Nothing of any substance will be done. They'll just stall for time and make excuses.
Congress needs to be purged in November. The current bunch of traitors is at best worthless and at worst a threat to the Constitution, civil rights, and our personal freedoms and liberties. - inactive, on 07/11/2008, -0/+17pelosi won't do *****.
- inactive, on 07/10/2008, -8/+22I lit candles for this one.
- soinie, on 07/11/2008, -4/+18Kucinich would be a much better presidential candidate than either Obama or Clinton.
- Barackalypse, on 07/11/2008, -1/+15No, she just found Obama's, don't worry, she won't use it either.
- OC73, on 07/11/2008, -4/+17Pelosi, once again playing the Democrat party base like a hair-band guitar solo.
- nicku, on 07/11/2008, -0/+12I wouldn't count on it...
- inactive, on 07/11/2008, -1/+13+1 for the George Carlin reality check.
- cheezintern, on 07/11/2008, -3/+15Yea people that want rule of law are pussies
- richardstaboner, on 07/11/2008, -4/+16HD please.
- Barackalypse, on 07/11/2008, -2/+13If you think the same Congress that passed the FISA bill is going to impeach a guy for recklessly using the power of the State, you're nuts. As far as Pelosi hinting at a hearing, thats way less committed than Barack Obama saying he'd try and get telcom immunity stripped out of FISA and we all know how hard he tried with that and what the end result was.
- inactive, on 07/11/2008, -5/+15If there's a hearing, I'll gladly take a blowjob from Pelosi.
- NelsonR, on 07/11/2008, -8/+18Seventy percent of Americans dislike Bush and his policies yet we are forced to bow down before the 30 percent warmongering fools and put up with him till his term ends. WHY?
Keep it up Dennis even though most Americans are apathetic like the German folks with Hitlers rise to power. No different today here in the good old U.S.A. - Naieve, on 07/11/2008, -1/+10It amazes me over and over.
Classic political move.
Oh you have a problem with what I have in this hand?
Well look at my other hand, its so nice, you don't even remember what the first hand had in it now do you....
Oh look I'm not going to follow through with what I showed you with my second hand, look at the other parties hand, isn't that scandalous, there you go get distracted on that for awhile.
FYI, to anyone still reading this comment. High ranking Democrats were informed of all the information Bush received. Such as the members of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence among others. Which of course means this article of impeachment is pointless. Congress was informed, but at the time it wasn't politically profitable for them to buck the trend. Doing their job would have had political repercussions. - Hawkknight88, on 07/11/2008, -0/+9Pelosi is a wuss, we all know it. Remember how democrats cheered when they took the congress majority? Yeah that helped a ton..
- swrostmore, on 07/11/2008, -3/+10I find that statement to be extremely dubious, got any evidence?
- xadious, on 07/11/2008, -2/+9I'm willing to bet nothing happens, as usual, unfortunately.
- trickyt, on 07/11/2008, -0/+7if you like being wiretapped!
- vat0r, on 07/11/2008, -3/+10That was only so he could forge his name on the soon to be released confession documents.
- Ryan166, on 07/11/2008, -3/+9I'd hit it.
- nedzeve, on 07/11/2008, -1/+6This is the second best comment I've read today.
- schwit, on 07/11/2008, -2/+7Ain't gonna happen. Congress is heading outta town because the election season is kicking off. The last thing they want is something requiring them to stay in DC while their competitors are at home campaigning.
- OfNumbers, on 07/11/2008, -1/+6Seconded. I think her and Boxer are twins.
- TheInformer, on 07/11/2008, -1/+6More than 90% of Americans don't give the Democratic Congress a positive approval rating, yet we are forced to bow down before the < 10% fools and and put up with them while they pass the FISA bill, do nothing on making us energy independent, and fatten themselves with earmarks and pork.
- inactive, on 07/11/2008, -5/+10Not gonna happen. Get over yourselves.
- Naieve, on 07/11/2008, -1/+6Yes string these uckers up for not informing Congress.
Oh wait, whats that?
Oh they did inform Congress?
Theres a Senate Select Committee on Intelligence that got this, and others?
What the hell is a Senate Select Committee on Intelligence?
Crap. *puts away noose* - Naieve, on 07/11/2008, -3/+8Considering that Congress received all the same reports that Bush did, I have doubts as to that honesty.
The Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, among others, received all the NIE's that are in question here.
FYI, its a bipartisan committee, just like the others that got the same info.
Good luck with that Dennis, I have no doubt whatsoever in my mind that this will not go all the way.
Were it to go all the way, the facts of the case would become MSM headlines, and neither Republican nor Democrat in Congress would be safe.
This is political grandstanding by a Congress with approval ratings in the single digit range. - bullhead2007, on 07/11/2008, -0/+4It's not that she doesn't have a spine. You realize this once you realize what is really going on. Hint: Pelosi and Bush are on the same team.
- Barackalypse, on 07/11/2008, -1/+5Its damn scary that 9% of the country approves of the job they are doing, I weep for the future.
- silent7seven, on 07/11/2008, -0/+4Ya know, I used to chuckle when people said that, knowing they wouldn't, but things have gotten so bad that I do in-fact know a few people that have moved over an ocean in lieu of Bush being re-elected. Canada isn't far enough away.
- inactive, on 07/11/2008, -0/+4I'd buy the DVD.
- winmywii, on 07/11/2008, -0/+4Just hope for parole.
- xaogypsie, on 07/11/2008, -0/+4Ok... So what was the best comment?
- askantik, on 07/11/2008, -0/+4That'd be great, but Obama would never do it. I think it's a longshot even for Obama to put appoint him to anything, but that doesn't keep me from hoping.
- bullhead2007, on 07/11/2008, -0/+4All of the members of PNAC should be under investigation for conspiracy and treason as far as I'm concerned.
