- Shigatsu, on 11/10/2007, -19/+118First Cheney! Then Bush! That would solve so many problems.
Digg needs to organize a week long massive call in campaign accross the net. Look at what we can do for Ron Paul, this same vigor NEEDS, MUST go into convincing the house/senate to support this. We might not get another chance.
“Congress must hold the Vice President accountable," Kucinich said in a statement last week. "The American people need to let Members of Congress know how they feel about this. The Vice President continues to use his office to advocate for a continued occupation of Iraq and prod our nation into a belligerent stance against Iran. If the Vice President is successful, his actions will ensure decades of disastrous consequences.” - manmademark, on 11/07/2007, -8/+82so if these two get impeached.. what happens to fox news?
- iching, on 11/08/2007, -11/+75Go Dennis !!!
HR333 is just halfway to 666, Cheney first then Bush. - tHePeOPle, on 11/08/2007, -4/+42UFO = Unidentified Flying Object - Which means he saw something he could not ***** identify. He did not say he saw ***** aliens you ***** douchebag.
- SiliconRain, on 11/07/2007, -1/+37Do you know what a communist is? Because it doesn't sound like you do...
- robotchant, on 11/07/2007, -2/+34Impeachment ≠ removal from office. Clinton was impeached, remember? But do you remember on which day he was removed from office?
- inactive, on 11/08/2007, -2/+33I have to say, your alias is appropriate to your comment.
- gahal, on 11/07/2007, -0/+26Fox will just change the (R) to a (D) next to their names.
- pintomp3, on 11/08/2007, -6/+31bush claimed god told him to invade iraq. at least kucinich's imaginary friends aren't telling him to kill people.
- ZenMojo, on 11/07/2007, -3/+27Crime shouldn't pay. So far it has.
- robotchant, on 11/07/2007, -10/+33Let's see how quickly the spineless Dems distance themselves from UFO-sighting Kucinich.
In 3, 2... - kleevr, on 11/07/2007, -0/+22News Anchor, "Are you suggesting that Homer Simpson is Lying?"
Lawyer, "No, but we did obtain this footage of him with his pants on fire." - skyteria, on 11/07/2007, -3/+24Many people from the White House will find easy employment there. Along with Big Pharma, and Big Oil.
- monkeyrun, on 11/08/2007, -6/+24Not really, but we have to start from somewhere right?
- bulkhater, on 11/07/2007, -4/+22He was only impeached by ONE house of congress, not both, which is why he remained in office until his term ended.
Funny how congress could rally to impeach a man for lying under oath about oral sex, but can't be bothered for SEVEN YEARS to do ANYTHING about a man who is personally responsible for the deaths of thousands of Americans and tens of thousands, perhaps hundreds of thousands of Iraqis. - davidlow, on 11/12/2007, -5/+21If Cheney is eventually forced out of office as a result of Dennis Kucinich's efforts, I will be morally compelled to vote for Kucinich instead of Ron Paul, who I greatly respect and who has my firm vote as of this moment.
It will be a difficult switch for me; but if Dennis really comes through for me like that then, well, I'll have to come through for him in return. - cybermort, on 11/07/2007, -3/+19they should? why because he stands by the our country's morals.. remember we don't condone assassinations. we uphold the rule of law and everyone deserves a fair trail.
- murf43143, on 11/07/2007, -1/+17They are impeaching him for lying...
Which lies turned into ***** WAR. Blatant FALSE claim about other countries that brought us to war based on lies. - miriv365, on 11/08/2007, -0/+16Huh? How does she become Vice-President? The President gets to select his VP with confirmation by the senate.
- pgarin, on 11/07/2007, -1/+17Just for once.... will someone stand up for the principals of the constitution? Will someone go on record to stop both Chaney, and Bush? I only hope there are enough people with a backbone to stand up and hold Cheney and Bush accountable for misleading the American public as a matter of policy, as well as the subversion of the constitution, or, at the very least attempting to re-interpret the constitution to advance their own personal agenda as opposed to keeping their oath of office.
- dforty3, on 11/07/2007, -3/+18Another FOX News drone.
- bshock, on 11/07/2007, -1/+15More power to you, Mr. Kucinich.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071106/ap_on_go_co/ch ... - Typhoon2009, on 11/07/2007, -2/+14Like it's not blackmarked enough. Everyone remembers Clinton's impeachment for perjury, but come the hell on, that was about a blowjob that someone gave him. Bush and his cronies will go down in the books notoriously, infamously, as the guys who got us into a horrible war and who have hurt this country's image at home and abroad.
- RabidAngel, on 11/07/2007, -0/+12You are mistaken. The majority of Americans DO want them impeached. 54%, to be exact.
- trajomoreno, on 11/07/2007, -2/+14You forgot your /sarcasm tag. :)
- Swift2, on 11/07/2007, -1/+13Does anybody think it shouldn't be done? If so, why not? I'm not any kind of extremist. For almost the first year, I supported the Pelosi line on impeachment: we should investigate, but not spend the remaining time of the Bush administration with the upset of an impeachment drive. However, I've come around. We need to draw a line to punish the behavior of this "unitary executive," which is plainly unconstitutional. It cannot be a precedent for further administrations. We need presidents, not czars.
Bush just went below NIXON'S approval ratings just before he was impeached. Bush and Cheney have plainly been guilty of impeachable offenses. So they need to be impeached, and driven out of office in shame.
I don't know what the hell the Hoyer/Pelosi branches of the party want here, but I don't really care anymore. - SiliconRain, on 11/07/2007, -0/+11gesture
- floorman56, on 11/08/2007, -0/+11You are aware the Republicans prevented this bill from being killed by the Democrats today?
http://thehill.com/leading-the-news/republicans-ke ... - fractalman, on 11/07/2007, -11/+22As much as this needs to happen, and I hope he succeeds, it leaves us with Pelosi as the next president. She is part of the same problem that Cheney and Bush belong too. She's owned by the neocon machine. If we take Cheney out of office first, Bush will have the opportunity to appoint Condi Rice as VP, then she becomes the next president. We need a method that will get all of them out at the same time and all brought up on charges of conspiracy to defraud America.
- dcbebop, on 11/08/2007, -1/+12Too late for Cheney, it got sent to Judiciary where it will undoubtedly be killed. I guess theres a good reason you stack the entire Judicial branch with your own personal minions.
Hooray, democracy reigns again.
/total ***** sarcasm. I'm about to put my fist through the wall. - skews13, on 11/07/2007, -1/+12they don't seem to be laughing now dennis.good job.
- inactive, on 11/07/2007, -0/+10Um.. i don't see anyone else doing it, for votes or not i believe this is something ALOT of voters care about and if hes willing to do it then he deserves the votes.
- SiliconRain, on 11/07/2007, -1/+11He hates what now?
- jokemon, on 11/07/2007, -2/+12"According to The Hill newspaper, Kucinich's idea -- which would put legislators on the record about Cheney's impeachment -- is making some Democrats uneasy."
"Democrats might be tempted to opt to send the resolution to committee, according to Soraghan, who says that such a move "avoids an immediate floor vote and might be the most appealing option to the Democratic leadership."
It seems to me Democrats are actually scared about being "on record" about opposing Bush. What do they have to be scared about?
the article says that Democrats don't want to go on record because it might lose them votes from independents, but I think some of our Democrats are neocons in disguise. - Wargalas, on 11/07/2007, -2/+12Did he say anything about her gender? You're making assumptions that makes you look like an idiot. Nancy Pelosi is one of the worst politicians in Congress, and yet, you can't get it into your head that maybe they don't want her in the White House simply because she's a horrible person?
- thebellmaster1x, on 11/07/2007, -0/+10Try updating your argument by 50 years.
- qubitz, on 11/10/2007, -7/+17Thank god someone is doing the right thing, and not just making political moves.
- kirashira, on 11/07/2007, -3/+12Wow that took long enough...
- mrogi, on 11/07/2007, -0/+9Can't the Democrats grow even one ball? _ Bill Maher
Once again the Democrats have been emasculated, neutered and de-balled. Thanks to the moral integrity of Kucinich, House Democrats were granted a unique opportunity to stand up and be counted. The Republicans in Congress fortuitously changed their votes from Yes to No on the proposal to table the Impeachment resolution. Instead of going on the record and voting to impeach that Spawn of Satan in a straight up-or-down vote; the Dems once again disappointed every American who voted for them and decided to send the resolution to the Judiciary Committee to die a quiet and ignominious death. Can't the Democrats grow even one ball? - PopcornDave, on 11/08/2007, -2/+10Is everyone on Digg too young to remember Gerald Ford and his pardon of Nixon? Impeach and convict Cheney, fine. So then Bush appoints a new VP, who in turn could pardon Bush if Bush resigned, a la Ford/Nixon.
I know it's painful sometimes, but it's a necessity to follow through with thinking to make sure what you're asking for is what you really want.
Besides, we *all* need to remember that impeachment isn't conviction and removal from office. They're two separate things. - blindhammer, on 11/07/2007, -0/+8Let me guess, you probably think Clinton should have been impeached.
- obelisky, on 11/07/2007, -0/+8he's doing it right now.
- Waiting2awake, on 11/07/2007, -0/+8 Let me assure you that you are NOT the only one wondering that very same thing.....Surely most Americans are outraged about these clowns actions.
- RabidAngel, on 11/07/2007, -0/+8There is every reason to impeach them and no valid reason to tolerate their presence in office for one more second.
- SillyRabbits, on 11/08/2007, -1/+9Good God ZenMojo, do they not even teach basic US government classes in school anymore?
