- rplibertybelle, on 01/24/2008, -23/+479Go Dennis, go! You are one of the few with a backbone.
- zappa717, on 01/24/2008, -17/+354"We already know the State of the Union," Kucinich says in his speech, which has been posted on YouTube. "It's a lie."
- pintomp3, on 01/24/2008, -6/+250silly americans, impeachments are for blowjobs.
- rmd34, on 01/24/2008, -5/+163"in violation of the House rules and his statements must stop for the civility of the House"
Yeah... the civility of the House is more important than the stability of this country. Dennis Kucinich is the only one that has his priorities straight. - inactive, on 01/24/2008, -7/+164Dennis was one of five "representatives" to oppose the Thought Crimes Act HR 1955. The senate version of this Orwellian legislation is in front of the senate now as S.1959.
- SlimFastForYou, on 01/24/2008, -13/+152Everyone's thowing down the gauntlet today, Anon and Kucinich are looking to kick some ass and it'll be interesting to see how it plays out! Go Kucinich! Maybe he will gain enough popularity to win the Presidency after all... stranger things have happened.
- KraftDinner101, on 01/24/2008, -2/+111I wish more people knew of this man. I'm not even part of your country and I'm rooting for him.
- khail250, on 01/24/2008, -5/+111Mr. Kucinich, you are my president
- Donthaveone, on 01/24/2008, -2/+108"Lies are weapons of mass destruction" -Dennis Kucinich
Amen. - swrostmore, on 01/24/2008, -4/+106The truth is clearly "off the table" in the US Congress.
- GhostyBoy, on 01/24/2008, -5/+68Those who make fun of this brave and honest man do so at their nation's peril.
- s35wf, on 01/24/2008, -18/+81GO DENNIS! IMPEACH the SOB's! IMPEACH the whole damn Bush regime!
VOTE DR. RON PAUL 2008!
Kucinich & Paul are like the only 2 honest people left in congress! - MonsterChaOS, on 01/24/2008, -5/+62Couldn't have said it better myself. Bush is a criminal and has committed more serious and numerous crimes than any criminal in the country. Not impeaching him only gives future presidents precedent that they will never ever get arrested for anything.
- truthmatters, on 01/24/2008, -2/+57The corporate powers in Cleveland are undermining the re-election of Kucinich. Regardless of who you support in this election, Dennis Kucinich is our most valuable member of Congress and we must fight those looking to silence him. MSM has marginalized, ridiculed, and undermined Kucinich's presidential campaign because of corporate interests. His courage and foresight in seeking impeachment of Cheney before we're taken into a war with Iran is admirable. He's the greatest defender of our Constitution, and the true voice of the people, not Corporate America.
Help fight the corporate powers looking to replace Kucinich in Congress. His voice is imperative in our corrupt Congress.
http://kucinich.us/contribute.html - schallb, on 01/24/2008, -7/+62Wouldn't it be great to get a internet vote that really counted on this one?
- Devachan, on 01/24/2008, -7/+59THIS IS WHY I AM VOTING FOR DENNIS IN THE PRIMARY!!!!!!
- RepublicansSuck, on 01/24/2008, -2/+50Kucinich deserves to be in the damn debates!
- martoq, on 01/24/2008, -2/+44A man among boys.
- MrHighTech, on 01/24/2008, -2/+31disclaimer: I am canadian so what do I know about american politics eh?
But when I see people stand up like Kucinich I still have some hope for the "land of the free and the home of the brave". Takes guts, I admire that. - jenniferstruth, on 01/24/2008, -3/+31Kucinich is the biggest threat to the Neo-Con machine. You can see this by how many times he has been banned from the debates or un-able to participate in the debates. He goes against all the corporate messages that they are trying to sell to the people with the cadidates they are allowing on the stage. Look at who owns the networks then look at what else they are into. Like the MSNBC debate, Kucinich is anti-war look at who owns the main networks
So ya think we have a "free press" eh? Check out who owns who, and who owns what you think.......

*(Phillip Morris donated 2.9 million to George W Bush in 2000)* - lydecker, on 01/24/2008, -3/+31And the additional 25 people - so far - that have dugg you down...
Get a grip. - allatti2d, on 01/24/2008, -3/+29It doesn't matter what Kucinich is like personally. It is the job of Congress to support and defend the U.S. Constitution, and to impeach anyone in the Administration who threatens that.
- inactive, on 01/24/2008, -2/+28Except the four people who commented above you... you must have seen that.
- oldhick, on 01/24/2008, -1/+27I understand that sentiment. But don't you think its important to have dissenting voices in our government? If everyone plays it right down the middle than where are the checks and balances? Where is the debate?
- richlizard24, on 01/24/2008, -2/+27Who records C-SPAN?
- asspants, on 01/24/2008, -3/+28from the article's comments:
"an impeachment attempt at this point unnecessarily bogs down congress."
Our elected representatives in congress are not getting paid by the hour. The people elected them to handle matters of state and country, I think this falls under that. - pintomp3, on 01/24/2008, -5/+29it disgusts me that democrats would rather let war crimes go unpunished and checks and balances in ruins for political gain. democrats aren't seeking impeachment because they know the likelihood of a democrat in the white house is high and they want them to inherit these increased powers. they are more interested in partisan control than the rule of law and the interest of the country. republicans don't want someone like hillary with these powers, but can't break their partisan ties to impeach either. this hyper partisanship began with reagan ("Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican") and is tearing this country apart. kucinich is the only candidate more focused on the good of the country than partisan politics or personal gain. it's a shame he has been excluded from the start.
- johnnyfatstacks, on 01/24/2008, -22/+44hopefully we see a Paul/Kucinich ticket
- inactive, on 01/24/2008, -6/+28Kucinich. Go to work, bitch slap the president and vice president, +1.
Kucinich. Go home after said bitch slapping and sleep with fine wife, +1.
It's good to be Kucinich. - inactive, on 01/24/2008, -3/+25I love this man.
- monkeyrun, on 01/24/2008, -3/+25Go Dennis, I hope everybody could grow a pair.
- ProfessorSYM, on 01/24/2008, -10/+29Agreed.
- krnldmp, on 01/24/2008, -2/+21The "deployers" were never found that I heard. However, all the hubub abruptly STOPPED once it hit the news that the anthrax strain was traced to the US Army. The whole story suddenly got real unimportant.
- khail250, on 01/24/2008, -2/+20lets just say 50,000 iraqi have been killed.
the question now is Why? - StarlessKnight, on 01/24/2008, -3/+19There is a part of the American public that wants Bush impeached. As an elected representative of that public, particularly Kucinich's share of it, it is his duty to enact legislation based off the desire of his constituency.
- Napoleone, on 01/24/2008, -15/+31One of 7, though only six voted No. Ron Paul missed the vote but later came to the floor and delivered this speeh: http://www.rense.com/general79/attck.htm
- insomniac8400, on 01/24/2008, -3/+19It will suck with cheney as president, but if Bush is impeached, cheney will easily be impeached. I do find it disgusting that the same people who wanted to impeach clinton for lying about cheating on his wife somehow don't support impeaching a president who lies to americans.
- kittycake, on 01/24/2008, -1/+16On the site that this article was originally posted people are knocking Mr.Kucinich - this is a nice change of pace. I think everyone (in congress) that is scoffing at him should be looked at as well - how much more clear can it be that our President is wiping his ass with our country? This is news worthy- 100 reasons to impeach today. TV news where are you?? Oh yeah too busy selling your viewers trust to the highest bidder.
impeachbush.org
Why do i rant - no one cares. Lets just all go to the mall and spend our tax refunds - that'll fix it. :) - cactus476, on 01/24/2008, -1/+16***** you Cliff Stearns, ***** you.
- doyoulikeworms, on 01/24/2008, -0/+15While both Paul and Kucinich are badasses, that is their only common trait as politicians.
- swrostmore, on 01/24/2008, -2/+17Because the GOP threatened to hold him in violation of house rules (speaking the truth is forbidden, not really surprising). If this had happened he would have been barred from the floor for the day, preventing him from voting.
- i208khonsu, on 01/24/2008, -0/+14Dennis and Ron only agree on forign policy. The are polar opposits when it comes to everything else. Dennis basically wants an increase (or rather unification) in social programs where as Ron only wants programs that are absolutly necessary.
- Popper, on 01/24/2008, -1/+15Harry Reid is a Senator. He cannot kill impeachment, as it is the House of Representatives which would start impeachment proceedings. Nancy Pelosi, however, could kill impeachment proceedings and probably would, as she has no backbone either.
- relaxeder, on 04/17/2009, -2/+16Why the fuss? It should have happened years ago.
- jenniferstruth, on 01/24/2008, -5/+18I agree completley with McGrude. Also, I think that the few years that the whitehouse was listening and reading e-mails without Congress knowing got the whitehouse some material to use against the people in the House. "get in line or else" like he said seems to be what was used. Look at all that has gone down since the Anthrax scare. Noone has dared say anything. Perhaps it has to do with the firing of the judges for not being "loyal Bushies". Either way something on the Hill stinks.
- bearsandbulls, on 01/24/2008, -1/+14McCain on Ron Paul, “The Most Honest Man In Congress”.
Doesn't that just sound funny, it's like he knows he and his constitutes are liars. - allatti2d, on 01/24/2008, -3/+16Dugg you up, because I agree.
I'm quite pissed that congress is a bunch of pussies, too afraid to follow through with what they were elected on. What a disappointment they are. They fund the war, otherwise they're "not supporting the troops." *****. They won't impeach Bush/Cheney, because they don't want to look stupid like the congress that impeached Clinton. *****.
Get a backbone, Pelosi. Get some balls, congress. Do what you're supposed to do: uphold the Constitution. - skav, on 01/24/2008, -0/+12C-SPAN's mom.
- sigg14, on 01/24/2008, -0/+12there should really be an IQ requirement for internet access
- allatti2d, on 01/24/2008, -0/+12I apologize -- I saw Reid and thought Pelosi, and didn't catch my error in time to edit. I never heard that Reid "killed impeachment," so I automatically dubbed in Pelosi.
Sorry. :( -
