Kids can't say the Pledge ... so not to offend Muslims
blog.infinitemonkeysblog.com — An elementary school principal in Portland, Ore., threw out the Pledge of Allegiance because the reference to God might offend Muslims. Maybe if the Pledge referenced "Allah" that would be OK. The irony is that even Muslims in Portland thought it was crazy. Read a great take on this issue at the Infinite Monkeys blog.
