Their full video page is violating its security sandbox. Just grab the embed - JerryAscione, on 05/22/2008, -0/+21I saw a screener of this a week ago and it is done really well. Despite it being almost 2 hours long, it wasn't at all boring. Kevin Spacey is at the top of his game. Laura Dern nails the character of Katherine Harris.
- nbrntrt, on 05/22/2008, -1/+22And can you believe that the whole time they were telling us "We are recounting Florida". They actually were not? How did Kevin put it... they recalculated the memory, or something like that? How can this be?
- janoo1989, on 05/22/2008, -1/+19They were actually...never...counted
- lyderaly, on 05/22/2008, -2/+17Al Gore I would have waited for the re count....your supporters would have waited for you.
- SmokinOkie, on 05/22/2008, -1/+12It's the people with the power that decide what we know, how much we know and what we are now allowed to know. They are Dems, Repubs, Independents, Major news media and the like. It's the smaller journalists that allow the story to get out, then they are squashed like bugs.
Out political system HAS to change and I'm not talking about Obama. He isn't that different from the rest. Just check out his voting record.
What we need is REAL change. Take the money out of politics and that still leaves power. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. - wacomwacoff, on 05/22/2008, -0/+11"I think I'll stick to what's important in my life at the present time."
Nobody wants to watch "OffPiste Trolls On Digg: The Movie". - Willravel, on 05/22/2008, -0/+9Florida broke the rules, and Clinton and Obama agreed to the DNC punishment. Can we just take away their right to vote for the next few elections?
It'll be interesting to see how correct this particular retelling of the 2000 election debacle is. - wacomwacoff, on 05/22/2008, -0/+9No, we're making documentaries on one of the most dramatic events in modern politics.
You're the one whining and whimpering about it. - inactive, on 05/22/2008, -2/+10i would argue that the msnbc video player actually kicks ass compared to other tv news video players. though there's still something odd about watching longform content on a pc. television is the original streaming video.
- SoyJames, on 05/22/2008, -1/+9They're gonna do it again in November, this is why we are bringing up 8 years ago.
- suckanucka, on 05/22/2008, -3/+10It is important to continue to remind people of incidents like this. Controlling how often the media keeps a story in the headlines, and allowing the years to gray history has had a very negative impact on the U.S. lately.
The best part is people still think the Bush people weren't behind something sketchy in Florida in 2000, even after 8 years of being at the circus. - atorch, on 05/22/2008, -0/+6He's also extremely well-spoken. Not a bad combination...
- chromerium, on 05/22/2008, -9/+15stupid msnbc player doesn't work. Why the hell don't they test these things on other browsers.
- RoninBic, on 05/22/2008, -0/+6Those Who Forget History Are Doomed to Repeat It
- NuclearBlast, on 05/22/2008, -0/+5I hear that dude is HUNG!
- centerblack, on 05/22/2008, -1/+6I'm ok with banner ads all over the ***** page, but I'm not sitting though thirty seconds of commercials for MSNBC.
I don't watch commercials on TV, I'm not watching them on the internet.
Thanks for linking directly to the video! - inactive, on 05/22/2008, -3/+8Who is Chad, and why is he so damn popular ;-)
- chkdg8, on 05/22/2008, -3/+8I'm really looking forward to a "dramaticized" version of the Florida debacle but this is something that everyone should see: http://www.americanblackout.org/

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8_3Lk3x8fA - Baskins, on 05/22/2008, -0/+5Just watched it with Firefox 3.0b in Ubuntu. Works great. And I would also agree that it's one of the best video players I've seen.
Try disabling your Adblocker before launching it. - Acewrap, on 05/22/2008, -0/+4No. You?
- spoogieking012, on 05/22/2008, -0/+4the plural of chad is CHAD?
- babylonian, on 05/22/2008, -0/+4Youtube mirror of the interview:

- maiku00, on 05/22/2008, -1/+4Countdown with Keith Olbermann has just been made available in its full video format for FREE by MSNBC, you can subscribe to the show via podcast through the iTunes Music Store.
- goomba323, on 05/22/2008, -0/+3I would agree with you, except in this case there was an exception. It wasn't the Democrat saying he was portrayed as too much of a pushover, but the REPUBLICAN said the Democrat wasn't as much of a pushover as he was portrayed in the movie. The Democrat, in fact, claimed that the Republican wasn't as much of a Demon-figure as he was portrayed in the movie.
So it wasn't a case of the political parties crying foul in respect that they didn't think they were portrayed fairly, but rather they felt the OPPOSITION wasn't accurately portrayed.
That's the only reason I called BS on the accuracy. And it's a movie:entertainment first, historically accurate second. - stageidea, on 05/22/2008, -2/+5Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia said, when asked about critics who say the 5-4 ruling was based on politics and not justice. "Get over it. It's so old by now."

I wonder if any of his comments from this interview will come into play in the movie - bigp3rm, on 05/22/2008, -1/+4Nice to see Bush's ass buddy Jon Bolton there checking chads.
@ 1:04 in..
wtf. - siszam, on 05/23/2008, -1/+4The families of the four thousand dead troops care. The families of the tens of thousand disabled troops care. The families of the hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqis care. You should care since you and your children will be paying for this war and record deficit for years to come as a result of the stolen election eight years ago.
Wake up child and look around you. - usingpond, on 05/22/2008, -1/+3Usually when someone is mediating between two parties, when they both cry foul, the mediator is the one who is right.
- rickpelletier, on 05/22/2008, -2/+4HE'S STILL THE PRESIDENT
- pintomp3, on 05/22/2008, -0/+2does that go for 9/11?
- inactive, on 05/22/2008, -0/+2Its just chad. No S.
- swrostmore, on 05/22/2008, -0/+2Related to the McKinney scandal:

- bigp3rm, on 05/22/2008, -0/+1Nice to see Bush's ass buddy Jon Bolton there checking chad.
- Belin, on 05/22/2008, -4/+5They do test their presentation on other browsers, but I'm pretty sure it is to make sure it doesn't work. MSNBC, MSInternetExplorer... kinda makes sense that you can't use anything else.
- ilikesboobs, on 05/23/2008, -1/+2Keyser Soze is Verbal Kint.
- inactive, on 05/22/2008, -2/+3More disgusting and heartbreaking than when Democrats enslaved blacks? More disgusting and heartbreaking than when Democrats denies blacks their rights through segregation? More disgusting and heartbreaking than when the KKK -- the terrorist arm of the Democrat Party -- lynched blacks and white Republicans? More disgusting and heartbreaking than when FDR refused to desegregate the military or sign an anti-lynching law? More disgusting and heartbreaking than when FDR tossed honest, loyal Japanese-Americans into concentration camps? More disgusting and heartbreaking than when Truman nuked Japan -- twice? More disgusting and heartbreaking than Democrats legalizing the slaughter of unborn babies? You have some mighty disgusting and heartbreaking notions of what are disgusting and heartbreaking events in American history. Go sit in the corner until you develop a better sense of right and wrong.
- DemDude, on 05/22/2008, -1/+2works like a charm on Opera 9.27
The best online video player I have ever seen. - pennvneff, on 05/23/2008, -0/+1Seriously, that thing is horrible and I've tried using both Firefox and IE to watch the Spacey interview.
It wouldn't play that but I've seen that stupid Hello Kitty segment a million times. - wacomwacoff, on 05/23/2008, -0/+1That's the silliest thing I've read all day. You think anyone cares what you think of them? At all?
Nope. I don't. Nobody does. But you've handily proved yourself to be paranoid, insecure, and ignorant. Nice! Congrats. - inactive, on 05/23/2008, -0/+1Thoroughly under appreciated comment....

- dragon76, on 05/23/2008, -0/+1I loved Superman Returns. The idea of a gay supervillian was just too good to miss.
- dankenstein, on 05/23/2008, -0/+1Was looking for the movie on TPB, no luck yet, but found 'Orwell Rolls in His Grave', which will definitely keep me satisfied meanwhile:
