- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -24/+150Wow. Way to go Olbermann! You spoke for every decent American.
- kirkio, on 10/12/2007, -13/+81I used to be pretty excited for Giuliani, but this just makes me lose a whole lot of respect for him.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -5/+63It's called vocabulary and diction. I can assure my good man that it is quite the shizzle.
- SultanTravi, on 10/12/2007, -15/+71Meh.. a vote for Bush killed more Americans than died on 9/11, so Rudy can't talk.
- PATSCRU, on 10/12/2007, -9/+53amen.....you smell that diggers?
it's the smell of people being held accountable about the vile things they say. - rockforever, on 10/12/2007, -6/+50You don't have to speak with the same dialect, grammer, pronunciation, or even language to speak the truth.
- laserblazer, on 10/12/2007, -20/+63What does a gimp like O'Reilly have to do with anything other than hack vaudeville? Olbermann is a real journalist, which is an art, not a title. I wonder if your little mind can wrap itself around that concept.
In short, you still suck. Lashing out is all you do. Pathetic. - nygrissplz, on 10/12/2007, -16/+56What's wrong with being a little skeptical of the government's role in many events like 9/11, wars, etc. It is foolish to trust the government in EVERY SINGLE MANNER and not think they weren't involved in some way. You sir, are a gullible fool if you believe every bit of it.
- zeromancer, on 10/12/2007, -4/+40how is it possible to spell 'Giuliani' correctly while 'actually' and '*****' are wrong? ... jw
- amoirae, on 10/12/2007, -14/+49Where is your proof that Olbermann is a liar like O'Reilly?
Where's your proof that Olbermann is a sexual harasser like O'Reilly?
Pfft. There is none and you're just bull *****. - slicedoranges, on 10/12/2007, -4/+35Since more viewers makes O'Reilly's points more valid.
- MrDandy, on 10/12/2007, -3/+32Right, because what's happening now is oh so pretty.
- eschompthis, on 10/12/2007, -21/+48I dont know if people know this but Giuliani is a actualt A ***** IDIOT
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -9/+35And yet the collective IQ of Bill's viewers is still lower.
- robodrew, on 10/12/2007, -0/+26Agreed. Time was, I could imagine an election that was Obama vs. Giuliani, and think, "boy, that'd be a great election, I can actually choose between two GOOD candidates that have differing views but which I wouldn't mind if the one I voted for didn't win. Now however, I feel sickened. Who's left on the Right who isn't turning out to be yet another complete shill? Romney? Great.
At this point a Clinton v. Giuliani election would be like my worst nightmare come true. - laserblazer, on 10/12/2007, -13/+34Princess Giuliani
- OralCavity, on 10/12/2007, -3/+25i know Keith Olberman. he is no puppet. he was saying this ***** before it was popular. right or wrong, he believes in the ideas that he states.
- rockforever, on 10/12/2007, -9/+30Princess "I was Mayor of NYC on 9/11 Vote for Me!" Giuliani
- lateralus, on 10/12/2007, -10/+30There are only 15,000+ instance of O'Reilly being very inaccurate on television and radio in the worst way possible. Pussies like you give him a pass.
Olbermann has way more integrity, intelligence, and humor than O'Reilly could ever hope for. He just isn't a rabit right-winger, thus mouth-breathers like you can't keep up with him. You're screen name references Sacramento AND the Kings. That's very sad. - FlaG8r, on 10/12/2007, -9/+29Olbermann's definitely a pompous ass who is very full of himself, but he's also right.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -9/+28I'll Olbermann any day over O'Rielly in cred. O'Reilly came from Hard Copy. Tabloid TV at it's finest.
- boonsorama, on 10/12/2007, -1/+20putting a republican in office wasn't pretty. it got us 3000 dead americans, 4 crashed planes and every last building with the prefix WTC was destroyed....7 buildings, i believe. it got us into a war that's killed 3500 soldiers, possibly 1 million iraqis, and has the rest of the world hating us and saying we are more of a threat than iraq. think about it.
- lateralus, on 10/12/2007, -6/+24You're right Crotch....we can't let this 8yr ***** utopia be dashed by some democrat in the white house....that would be terrible. Hopefully the team of doctors that escort Cheney can come up some kind of procedure that can enable the Dick to run for presidency in '08. Thanks for thinking about the children crotch...you.are.a.great.american(tm)
- prkchpsndwiches, on 10/12/2007, -5/+23@HDTVDUST
Olberman was just named for having the most TiVoed show on Television... - christopheles, on 10/12/2007, -8/+25OK! STFU to Olbermann detractors.
He's no Murrow and he knows it. He's said many times that his salutation at the end of his program is a tribute to a great man, not an emulation. Olbermann is a liberal and he let's you know it. He's a COMMENTATOR and he let's you know that too.
But he's also no ORally or Hannity. True mouthpieces of the Republican Party. People who are controlled by a destructive force in American politics. The Republican party. Not Conservative Americans but a group called Republicans that has hijacked politics in America like a jumbo jet. FOX News is bad for America. FOX "News" is propaganda pure and simple.
Like an oasis in a desert, MSNBC does its best to provide a true "fair and balanced" perspective. Not out of greed (well maybe) or a truly sinister motive, but based on the foundations of our country that birthed the major media outlets that we all love and hate.
Case in point- Olbermann is followed by Joe Scarborough. A former REPUBLICAN politician. But one that I can respect as a LIBERAL. I like Joe Scarborugh because he doesn't pretend like he has all the answers. His views are stated in a calm, rational manner. He has respected liberals and conservatives on his show. And he listens to them both. What a novel concept.
Watch ORally deal with a person that doesn't agree with him for five minutes. It's a one sided shouting match.
I'm sorry I just ranted but I'm a proud American. It hurts me that partisanship and ignorance are tearing my country apart. - avasol, on 10/12/2007, -14/+31Ok here's something to think about. Please note; I am not a conspirator nor do I wear tinfoil on my head.
But why did the Secret Service not pull Bush out of that chair and put him in safety if they received information that the nation was under attack?
It is their job. Their primary objective. The reason why they exist.
The only answer that comes to mind but that _does_ sound very conspiratory is that it was deemed he was not in any danger.
Based upon that, they must have known what was happening. Bush may be an idiot but the SS is not. Why didn't they do their job?
Food for thought. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -5/+22Olbermann is a f---ing executioner. I wouldn't want to get on his bad side. He virtually SLAUGHTERED Giuliani in that piece.
- fredrated, on 10/12/2007, -8/+24Gagliani is a filthy lying sack of human excrement.
At the 1st trade center attack it was revealed that emergency services communications were defective. Gagliani did nothing to improve them, resulting in more police and fire fighter casualties than necessary when the towers collapsed. What a scumbag. - christopheles, on 10/12/2007, -9/+25Can't digg this enough. Saw it on tv a few hours ago and it was sweet.
Olbermann rocks and I watch him every chance I get. I choose to believe that America's mayor filled pot holes with cadavers but don't feel like backing up that belief up with research or proof right now. - nygrissplz, on 10/12/2007, -4/+20because the republicans did such a great job the past 7 years, right?
- zeromancer, on 10/12/2007, -6/+21http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9LjQfBJH8c
- DeskFlyer, on 10/12/2007, -2/+17Where is this Keith Olbermann and where can I buy him a drink?
- rockforever, on 10/12/2007, -7/+22Sac you got to be kidding me. If anything I'd say that Steven Colbert is the O'Reily of the Left :P
- skyfire1, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15"But why did the Secret Service not pull Bush out of that chair and put him in safety if they received information that the nation was under attack?
It is their job. Their primary objective. The reason why they exist."
Bush didn't get to hear the end of the children's story. The secret service had to spoil it for him. - fireball74, on 10/12/2007, -6/+20I think what people are forgetting is that the Republicans of today aren't like ones from 30 years ago. As a matter of fact, Republicans and Democrats have pretty well switched places on a lot of issues. Republicans no longer support smaller government and more freedoms. Instead they are taking away freedoms and building a farther reaching goveenment. Democrats are now the ones touting returning freedoms to the People and shrinking the reach of the government. You life-long hardcore Republicans need to stop and look around, read some things, and quit drinking the cool-aid.
That being said, Olbermann has a point. Touting fear and terror isn't going to get you elected. Playing the 9/11 card is really low these days. Telling people they will die if one party is voted over another is distasteful. I've heard it before. We were told that terrorists would attack the moment Democrats took over Congress. Funny how that never happened.... Wake the ***** up people! - nygrissplz, on 10/12/2007, -8/+22And O'Reilly is a far-right nut. Convinced he and he alone is the soul knower of all things in politics and that all others are far too stupid to understand the world they've experienced for themselves. You yourself are a corrupted right-winger and you know it. You watch Bill-O for goodness sake. The man is a fool. Ratings do not = intelligence.
The fact that Olbermann was a sportscaster does not degrade his journalistic integrity the least bit. Besides, you need to be able to view the news from both perspectives. Olbermann seems more serious to me, while O'Reilly is a comedy hour (which could explain the amazing ratings). He argues like a child and never has a decent point to make on any issue. Then, when his poitns are defeated, he cuts the other person's mic as not to embarrass him further. A true journalist, that O'Reilly. - FlaG8r, on 10/12/2007, -5/+19They've still got a ways to go to match Lying Green Footballs.
- boonsorama, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14Giuliani needs to lose lot more respect for the fact that under his mayorship, the sanitation dept. of nyc (which is under the mayor's direct control) filled potholes with the remains of 9/11 victims. http://blogcritics.org/archives/2007/03/24/233829.php
- christopheles, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15Read the Bill of Rights and a few speeches by George Washington *sshole. This country was founded on CIVIL discourse. A concept almost alien in modern politics.
I love America but I will never stand by and watch my freedoms be eroded by a party system that the our first president warned us against.
Buried. - DiggeralToolz, on 10/12/2007, -7/+20"We know there were numerous warnings of the events to come on Sept. 11," declared the fiery Ms. McKinney, who was subsequently defeated for re-election by a Democratic primary opponent. "What did this administration know and and when did they know it?...Who else knew and why did they not warn the innocent people of New York who were needlessly murdered?"

Fearmongoring? - goosepillows, on 10/12/2007, -4/+16How dare you Mr. F1SHER
- bicyclethief, on 10/12/2007, -8/+20Giuliani, in my eyes, is no longer considered a legitimate presidential candidate.
- lateralus, on 10/12/2007, -3/+14The '08 Republican candidates look like ***** as of right now. If the election were tomorrow the democrats would have to win big....despite diebold.
- IckyChris, on 10/12/2007, -3/+14No. Sometimes one side is right and one is wrong. It only makes sense to talk about which is which.
Not everything has a happy middle. - quakerorts, on 10/12/2007, -4/+15Excited for Giuliani?!? He's the only candidate running who scares me more than W! Once you start looking into his background and connections, you'll soon see he's a criminal.
- AlanHolcome, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12I have to put in a Bravo Keith Olbermann!
- Zera, on 10/12/2007, -5/+15"Democracy is founded on one simple rule!
Get out there and vote or I will *****' kill you!" - Puff Daddy - erbalot, on 10/12/2007, -4/+13Some ones probably already said this but 99% of everything Olbermann said is right and he said it well.
Just giving the man his due - schnuck, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10and then he smeared himself some dirt in his face just seconds before his famous photo was taken that made him a "hero". *****, i cant believe this still works in the US.
- pairanoyd, on 10/12/2007, -5/+13***** neo-cons got us in this ***** in the first place.
Throw the bastards out and make peace. Enough killing already! -
