Amanda Terkel, the most recent blogger accosted by BIllOs producer was never invited to appear on the show, and was stalked for 2 hours in her car before she was ambushed with accusatory questions. She did not refuse to come on the show, and the blatantly false allegations BillO was accusing her of was "repeating the trauma for rape victims by blogging about him and his speech to be given at a rape survivors group"
She blogged about what he had said previously about rape victims getting what they wanted, because of how they dressed or how much they had to drink. He had said they were putting themselves out there for any predator, and she blogged about those comments. There's footage, for christs sake, how is that blatantly false?
I saw the clip on BillO's show, and I don't even understand why they thought it would make her look bad. It's just the producer screaming at her and her looking dumbfounded and confused about the questions he's asking.
You may be correct in some instances, where some people have refused to respond and said outright lies, but this is not one of those instances, and it's not MSNBC that pointed out the cognitive dissonance of BillO's segues from an ambush on a public bus to the evil people that stalk & photograph celebrities without their permission.
